Miracle Workers! Got out TEN year old stains!…read more We have had a half dozen carpet cleaners since we moved here. None can match the results we got with Coastal Carpet. This is not a revolving-door franchise but a family business for 35 years. My teens and their friends had blessed our carpet with pizza, cola, tacos, assorted condiments and dirt stains. A recent family addition of a 2nd cat has led to housewide marking battles. Other cleaners shook their heads, stating that some stains are just going to remain. John got them out. A utility room converted to bedroom has an industrial carpet with stains that were there when we moved in. These stains are 10 years old. JOHN GOT THEM OUT. Rather than, as others, espousing the virtues of their clandestine proprietary carpet cleaning formula, John volunteered many tips on DIY carpet cleaning, using household (cheap) products that work better than expensive name brand solutions. You won't see advertisements for these guys; they thrive by word-of-mouth.

I really like the cleaning 5 years ago and the owner (a couple running the business) doing the work. So I paid him and left him with all the work and left for the afternoon. When I came back hours later, the work was detailed and everything back in place and the carpet was drying. Great job on removing wine stains and coffee/chocolate drips from kitchen to office. Long story short; he measured my place and when I finally picked out the my ECO FRIENDLY gorgeous flooring, we made a date for installation. The date of installation, they arrived on time, Carlos and his assistant. They were both very polite, considerate and careful going about their business. I spoke with Carlos about concerns and specific things I wanted done and he assured me he would take care of it. I was so excited, I left for the day so they could get to work. When I returned home, I peaked in. I could not believe how much they had done already. It looked absolutely gorgeous better than I could've imagined. The next morning I left for work and left the door unlocked, sure enough they were driving in as I was driving out. By the time I got home from work that day, they were gone. I entered my place, the floors were done, the baseboards were on, they had picked up all their tools and trash, swept and vacuumed. Of course things got a bit dusty, but it was so worth it! I came home and I just couldn't stop looking at the floors. The two men, Carlos and (Liliton), don't know how to spell his name but they couldn't have been nicer. I would hire them again in a second to have another job done, no question. I felt strong about writing this review as they are a local business, did a great job and most importantly; it was reasonably. So nice when things go smoothly.
