Job Well Done…read more.... Pros: Very good cleaning. Friendly and helpful owner-operator. Cons: None Stars: - Overall: 5 - Scheduling: 5 - Promptness: 5 - Cleaning Quality: 5 - Tough Stains: 5 - Helpfulness: 5 - Noise: 4 - Cost: 4 - Value: 5 Three years went by in a flash. The last time we had our carpets and sofa cleaned was 2023...so despite our best efforts to keep things tidy, we needed a professional to take a look. Online reviews pointed us toward At Ease. My wife called Derek, the owner, on a Thursday and made arrangements for him to drop by between 11 AM and 1 PM the following Tuesday. At 1035 AM on Tuesday, he sent a text to say "I'll be there shortly". He was...introduced himself...walked around to see what needed to be done (2 bedrooms, 2 area rugs and 1 very large sofa cushion)...discussed his process and said the cost was $365. Derek was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Since Derek said he could work around and/or under most furniture, we didn't need to move much. He shampooed each area...then used a machine with lots of tubing to wash and "dry" the surface. There was noise, but it lasted no more than 1 hour. Drying depends on what's cleaned, the weather and your ventilation. We had a sunny day around 75 degrees, opened doors and windows and used all 4 ceiling fans. Within 5 hours, most surfaces were nearly dry. My wife and I give Derek 5 stars. He: - Arrived on time and gave us an update from the road - Did the job with a minimum of fuss and delay - Moved a few lighter items around - Did no harm to the house - Is a nice guy - Cleaned up after himself - Charged a reasonable price What could have been a pain in the butt was almost pain-free. Next time we need carpets and/or upholstery and/or tile/grout cleaned, we'll call Derek.

We purchased a condo a year ago and it was in need of some TLC. We were able to replace carpet in…read moremost of the rooms as well as floors in some of the bathrooms, but the tile in the entry, dining room, kitchen and hallways throughout the ground floor could only be given a quick scrubbing before my daughter and her roommates moved in for the school year. So a year later, the number one request was to clean the floors, which to be honest, look like they haven't had a thorough cleaning since the condo was built in the 80s. I put in a request on Yelp! and Glen was one of the first people to respond. We set up for him to come out, inspect and give a quote. He provided a reasonable quote and we scheduled a time. But then life happened and I had to postpone the work. Glen was totally understanding. He gave us our time and even reached out again about the time that I said we would be able to revisit the job. We scheduled the work and he showed up right on time and went to work. In addition to the floors we asked him to clean the carpets. Even though most were installed just last year, there was some signs of heavy wear and stains on a few of the surfaces. Overall, Glen did a great job. The carpets were cleaned and the stains removed. The floors which had been dirty and sticky in some places and the grout practically black were brought back a long way. We have some of the same tile lining the fireplace on the wall and after Glen was finished, the floor resembles the tile on the wall. Best of all, you can now walk on the floors barefoot without sticking to the ground. One last point, in one area of the floor, it looked like some black marks had been left on the ground. After consultation with Glen and some back and forth sharing pictures, we determined that the the black marks were actually under the years of build up and grime and had revealed themselves after all of that had been stripped off. Glen even offered to come out and try to see if he can further clean those marks, definitely above and beyond. If you need someone who knows their stuff and as a bonus, is reasonably priced and friendly, look no further than Karpet Klean and Glen.
