Apparently they…read morenever installed ice stops and the ice pushed our vents and caused leaks through our stove vent. (This caused mold which meant we had to renovate our entire kitchen. That cost $18,000!) We did our best to calk it in the meantime for an immediate fix. Sure enough, it started leaking again into our new kitchen! When we called them about it as the roof is warranteed, the woman who answered the phone referred us to some guy named Toby who used to work with them. He gave us a ridiculous price of $1600.00 to fix the leak and install the ice stops that should have been installed to begin with! We specifically went with Burke's because of the guarantee that the dad, the founder of the company, assured us of when he came out to quote. Apparently the son does not uphold the guarantee and quality that the company earned its reputation on. I still have my paperwork with the guarantee. I want my roof to not leak. I'd rather give my lawyer $1600.00 to get them to stand by their work than to pay some dude named Toby. Their guarantee is garbage. Go with someone else. Edit: 09/25/23 I just received a phone call from Sheryl Burke stating that our problem was from a lack of "maintenance" not their work, therefore they could come out and quote us to do what is needed to fix the leak but that they are more expensive than the quote I got recently. I informed her that this is not an issue of maintenance when they, the roofing professionals, never informed us that we needed additional hardware for a leak-free roof. We assumed that they, the professionals, would know what our roof needed and would include all of this at the time of quote and install. She tried to insinuate that we haggled over price, going with a cheaper option, (we didn't) and she stated that Zach didn't do the work, his dad Mark did. Wrong again, Sheryl. Mark quoted it in June and Zach did it in October. The bottom line: don't trust them to do what is needed, don't trust them to inform you of what is needed, and certainly don't trust them to stand by their assurance of a leak-free roof.

The company owner Brian Jones was personally on the site and involved with his team on a daily basis. He provided me with a detailed report of all materials and labor at the end of each week, and also contacted me as any questions came up and not even the smallest deviation from the original contract was made without my understanding and approval. The work was completed on schedule, the cleanup was thorough and the results could not be more impressive. July of 2019, I purchased and paid in full; cabinets, quartz countertop and cabinet labor from Paul…read moreMarcotte & Sons. 1. During demolition, when they removed the countertop, they gouged my new stainless steel, dishwasher control cover. They agreed to replace it. I called several times looking for updates. Josh never called me to let me know what was going on, after waiting over 7 months; they did install a new control cover. 2. 1 of my cabinet doors was damaged, probably from shipping, which they knew, but didn't say anything until I called them. After waiting many months, new doors were installed. 3. 7 cabinet doors that had to be patched after the handles were installed. They were fixed, some barely satisfactory. 2 doors need to be redone; they did agree to re-patch it again. Still waiting. 4. My wall microwave was not level. They did fix this. 5. I had a chip on 1 of the cabinets, that they touched up. The color does not match. I feel this is unsatisfactory, and they just give excuses, they are not going to fix this. 6. Factory defect on the base of 1 of the cabinets. They did agree to take care of this. Still waiting. 7. The cabinets/spacers around the dishwasher was unacceptable. They have fixed this. 8. I feel that they did not measure my cabinets appropriately because, the upper and base cabinets are not parallel. I have a 3" spacer and 2 inches free on the wall on the top. The, next size up from 1 of my smaller cabinets, would have made this perfect. They gave me an excuse, and not willing to work with me to fix this. 9. The epoxy that holds the dishwasher to the countertop detached. This did not even last a year. They agreed to add epoxy again, still waiting. When opening and closing the door it is rubbing against the cabinet causing damage. 10. A piece of the toekick detached. Did not last a year. They did agree to attach the toekick. Still waiting. Josh and Paul came to my house in May of 2020 to assess my issues. Paul came over again in the summer to make a list of the issues. I called before Thanksgiving and Josh told me, they can't do it this week, maybe the week after that. I called the 1st week of January 2021 and Josh said he will put me on the list, it has been almost a month and they have not fixed these issues. I live 2 minutes from their business, I can see their building from my house. There is no reason why they cannot take an hour to fix 4 issues. Every story has 2 sides, but pictures show the truth. As you can see, I have gone through a lot and none of this is my fault. I am very disappointed and very frustrated with this company. I would not recommend them; therefore, I give them 1 star. On a positive note, Surface Creations of Maine, who measured and installed my quartz countertop, did an awesome job with no issues.

Paul is a talented installer and carpenter, he was able to work with ceilings and walls that are far from level and deliver a seamless installation, with cabinets going to the ceiling. You would never know my ceiling wasn't level given his flawless craftsmanship. I know it took a lot of work and he made it seem easy. Installation was fast, and the time from installation of cabinets to installation of countertops was only 2 short weeks! We needed our living room ceiling repaired. Seasonal movement of the house, flexing trusses in the…read moreattic due to temperature and humidity swings, had damaged an area of the ceiling where it meets a brick chimney. Marc Carrier the owner of Drywall Concepts was recommended to me by an electrician that was working on another job in my house. I called Marc. He responded in a short period of time. He came to the house and provided an estimate. We agreed to have the work performed. He and his son made two visits to do the work within the agreed upon time frame. The work was performed very well. The paint they used after the drywall repair was done matched the shade of white of the rest of the ceiling so well that we have delayed painting the entire ceiling which we had previously considered. Marc and his son were both very professional. They removed their shoes before coming into the house. They cleaned up after the job was completed. The invoice came in at less than the estimated cost which is always a welcome event. I will call on them for future drywall or painting projects. I recommend them to others in need of drywall or painting services.
