They went out of their way to make sure measurements were correct - one of their staff lived in the West End and came by to pick up my bathroom sink to get measurements as they could not find them. When they installed they were professional and very friendly. Looking forward to 16 years later - I sold my place and when clearing out things I accidently had Corian cutting board jam into one of the drawers. Tried everything to get it open and it didn't work. I called them as the only option was to have them lift up the countertop - remove the board and then reinstall. Huge expense - Ray very kindly found someone in my area who came in and managed to open the drawer and remove the board without having to lift the countertop and no charge. I have told everyone I know how great they are and if they need countertops these guys are the ones to talk to. Thank you so much Paragon!

They followed covid protocol. Fantastic job from them. All done within a half day and this was back in October 2020. A few months later the stone developed a crack from an unseen flaw. Called them up and they sent someone out to inspect the flaw. Through job done. Nothing was dropped on it or anything. Just one of those things that happen as we all missed the flaw and want noticed until June 2021. New same stone was ordered and a date set up. They came at 8am and the old counter top was out in an hour. Our back splash is one of a kind and they didn't harm it at all. Excellent job done. New stone installed and all is done. They are a bit more expensive because they only use top of the material that you will not have a problem with. Service? Top notch. You can't ask for anything or anyone better. They have top notch staff, right from sales selection staff to installation. I cannot say anything bad about them. Use them. You will be greatly satisfied looking at your counter tips for years to come.

Really made our 2 room and hall basement carpet purchase and install a very easy transaction. *The installer noticed a colour line running through the carpet (it was sold as an "irregular" product) he offered to mention it to Jenn to see if she would give a discount. I was happy to hear from JENN - she offered me a % back on the carpet. I felt I had to mention that it was sold as an "irregular" and Jenn said she wanted us to be happy so we were thrilled ! Compared to other "discount" flooring outlets (who wouldn't even give me a sample of the flooring I was interested in), Jordans, their installer and JENN Brooks were very professional and went above and beyond. Our carpet still looks new. As a basement project we were on a budget, but they had high- end, beautiful products also. (Install May, 2015)

Transition pieces were not properly glued down, baseboard nails were not set flush, and the caulking was poorly done--problems that are still visible today. I lived with these issues for years because fixing them once was not enough and I did not want to deal with the issue again. The manager at the time did offer me a partial refund so I didn't ask for a 2nd fix. In hindsight I should have. Recently, I re-engaged Jordans because I need to redo my flooring. Engaging with the current store manager I was told in person that we would be "taken care of" and "hooked up" because of the 2017 experience. What followed was a 10¢/sqft price reduction (about $55 total). When I raised this marginal discount, the alternative offered was removing recommended services of leveling and voiding warranty. This process wasted significant time and did not rebuild confidence with Jordan's. We chose another contractor.

My Ego lawnmower was faulting (3 separate occasions over a month and no.. it was not the batteries)…read moreso I took it in under warranty on Aug 6. Messaged them that day on Facebook what I thought might be the issue and the owner replied the video I sent was a waste of his time. He was very rude/dismissive in his reply. After 2.5 weeks with no update, I called to see if it was fixed. I was told they did not see the fault after running the mower an hr a day 'apparently" every day. I asked if they opened it up to confirm the wiring was not damaged, causing the fault for me 3 different days cutting grass, and she said no. So, 2.5 weeks they had my mower and didn't open it once. Why didn't they call? The owner was sitting right near me and wouldn't even come discuss. They do not care about their customers after the sale is made. I've spent $4000 in their shop on Ego products (lawnmower, chainsaw, generator, blower, hedge attachment, solar panel charger, power head, trimmer attachment and a cutters kit). Horribly rude people. Updating my review now that it has been changed to a Rona a few months ago…read more When this store was branded as Ace Hardware, it was a great experience. I had everything I needed easily accessed. I seldomly, if ever, needed to travel further for the hardware or tools I was looking for. Quality items at a reasonable price. The moment it switched to a Rona, I started experiencing issues. My first purchase as a Rona had a problem with quality and I needed to return the product. I was giving this review some time, hoping that things would improve. But I haven't had great luck. The inventory availability and selection just don't seem what they used to be. The management of the store told me that their affiliation with Rona gives them access to better product range, since Rona is more Hardware and Ace is more agricultural. But I think this store is trending to become a typical Rona... Which would be lower quality items at average prices, and low availability of products. On top of that... Ownership and staff are the same, and they are still the same cheerful helpful bunch, however the store seems to be very messy and dirty all the time. Definitely not as welcoming and navigable. I wonder why?

Of all the dive stores is the Greater Vancouver, this is one of the two that we use the most (the…read moreother one being much closer to home). The reason is the EXCELLENT customer service. We deal primarily with George and, if we have had any problems (eg a camera malfunctioning or a travel bag's wheels breaking) he has taken the item back immediately. Often they will replace the item or offer a store credit even before checking with the manufacturer if the return is ok. For this reason, we return again and again to purchase more equipment. They have a good selection of everything: wetsuits, drysuits with undergarments, and some novelty sale items from time to time including wetsuits or lightweight neon tropical BCDs. Their regular selection is standard-priced. They sell Mares rather than Scubapro and we bought some new fins, Volo Power, which are lightweight and easy to use at the suggestion of George, and have been pleased with them. Good selection of accessories as well. Dive and Sea also offers instruction, with open-water dives at Whytecliff in West Van, EFR training etc. Although the staff will make suggestions, I have never felt here as if I'm getting a "hard sell". It's a comfortable store and we always look forward to going there, even just to have a look around. (Dive stores are like candy stores, hard to leave without buying something!) To get to this place, you must be heading North on McBride as it's impossible to make a left turn heading south.
