In this market, you have to DO the work, you can't just sit by as a realtor -- post your listings on Craigslist [Yes, CL] and take your own photos. You have to aggressively market, truly serving as a high quality representative for your seller. I am grateful that my property was adorable and unique which aided in it being sold quickly, but really wish I would've had someone more communicative, personable, competent and above all -- a hard worker [did not justify her commission amount whatsoever]. All in all, leaving Clatsop County felt bittersweet, but in the end - finalizing this transaction could not have come soon enough. I've been trying for a month now to get this agency to stop making misleading and major false…read moreclaims on their listing, such as claiming a property that is not on the ocean as being water front. That is a six to seven figure fraudulent claim, just so they can have their MLS listing show up on searches of people who only want to see properties that are actually the water... and not several blocks away. They have not responded to any of my communications and also remove my polite comment from their Facebook page. What does that tell you about the ethics of this business? This is misleading, makes the firm look shady and untrustworthy, and is just plain wrong, not to mention a violation of the National Association of Realtor's Code of Conduct - which can result in fines and penalties. This company needs to stop lying on listings. This isn't a minor issue like counting a half bath as a full bath. This is making false claims that would normally add $500,000 to millions on to the actual property if it was true. Stay away from places that do this kind of unethical and untrustworthy behavior.

Raising my 75-year-old mother's rent by almost $500 a month means she is no longer going to be able to live in her apartment. This is absolutely insane. $500 a month increase?! Update: Seiler Homes have now blocked me on all social media platforms due me to calling out what they are doing. They has their lawyer contact offering $3,000 to vacate the unit in less than three weeks. It's a shame how they run their "business".

Never one update in the months my property was on the market. When phoned, she is very rude. It's clear, her client is bothering her. Her manager knows about her but does nothing/thinks it's amusing. I complained to Windermere Corporate who seemed shocked at first but, again, did nothing. They referred their offended client back to the 'franchise' owner who remains silent. Interesting that Windermere Corporate is unconcerned that a franchise licensed to use their name would disparage that name without consequence. Summary: there is something fundamentally wrong with this Realty and certainly with an agent who is reviewed by this many people in the same negative terms.
