Had to stop using Embee after nearly 20 years…read more The last time I was there, I was quoted $2,500 for a job that I had done for $600 before. They dropped the price to $1,600, saying it was the best they could do because of tariffs and rising cost of business. I believed them and gave them the job. Afterwards, something still felt off, so I went to 3 other shops and was quoted $400-600 for the same thing. Yesterday, I noticed the coating Embee did that last time, is coming off after a couple 2x4's were strapped to the piece. After giving them thousands of dollars in business over the years and more in referrals, they pull this? Very disappointing

I ended up paying the bill. If anyone has had trouble with these guys. I highly doubt the whole truth is being told. Two sides to each story. My Lexus wheels were damaged from acidic wheel cleaner being used on them at some point, so I made an appointment for wheel painting.
