Bad Communication…read more sent friend across town after negotiating a price through Facebook Marketplace, only to discover that the agreed price somehow magically transformed back into the original listing price the moment it was time to pay. The listing was $339. I offered $280. The seller countered at $298 and explicitly stated, "298 is the lowest I can go for the FLX4." Fair enough. That's called negotiating. I accepted the understanding that the item would be sold for $298. I then asked for the address and business hours, which were provided. At no point during any of these conversations did anyone say, "By the way, the negotiated price does not include tax," or "there will be additional card processing fees." When my friend arrived to pick up the item, suddenly tax and card fees appeared out of nowhere. The final total landed right back around $339, which just so happened to be the exact original Marketplace listing price. Maybe that's a coincidence. Maybe the stars aligned perfectly. Maybe after negotiating from $339 to $298, adding tax and fees just happened to bring the price right back to where it started. From a customer's perspective, it felt like a classic bait-and-switch. The negotiated discount existed only until it was time to actually pay. What made the experience worse was the attitude when I called to clarify the situation. Instead of acknowledging how misleading the pricing appeared, I was met with a lecture about how famous the store is and how they've been around since the 1990s. Respectfully, how long a business has existed has nothing to do with whether pricing was communicated clearly. A business that's been operating for decades should be even better at disclosing final costs upfront. The product itself may be fine. The issue is transparency. If the real total is going to be significantly higher than the negotiated number, disclose that before someone makes plans, sends a friend, or drives to the store. Clear communication prevents bad reviews. Unfortunately, clear communication was exactly what was missing here.

Had a Dj Event last Friday and needed a Serato Mixer, Rudy and Javier (tech) went to extreme lengths when my SL1200's were not reading on the new Serato Dj Pro software - We had a Video call, then they helped me in the store to get a solution. With care and effort the situation was eventually resolved and the gig was great .... I've used them for rentals and gear servicing and have always had an exceptional experience.

Beware of Paul the sound guy, he either hates his job or hates musical artists…read more... First off, I myself am a professional audio engineer, producer and musician. I also own and operate a turnkey entertainment agency with an excellent reputation. Context: I was hired to perform at a restaurant in Glendale with a 9 piece band. We came prepared and ready to go. However, the sound guy (Paul) arrived late and had a horrible attitude. You need to understand as an engineer / audio tech, the artist is YOUR priority. Take care of them, and you'll have a great show. What does that look like? Set up on time, ring out the system (monitors and mains) , gainstage your mics and instruments, etc. What did Paul do? : scoffed at our tech request, made condescending remarks any time we asked if we can make adjustments, and just made our experience very uncomfortable and disappointing . If Paul was my employee/contractor under my company, I would be embarrassed and ashamed at the lack of professionalism and interpersonal skills. I would like to think this company is better than this and maybe Paul is simply misrepresenting Cosmos AVL in the worst way. I will never hire Paul nor will I ever recommend my industry and corporate clients to this company.

Chau and her assistants (which she apparently brings if the party is big enough) were absolutely fantastic with a very energetic group of 6-year-olds! They were professional, patient, organized, and genuinely great with the kids. Even with 17 excited little girls running around, they handled everything so smoothly and kept the experience fun and special for everyone. I also really appreciated how communicative and helpful Chau was leading up to the party. She was responsive, easy to work with, and made the planning process feel very straightforward. The girls had an absolute blast and loved getting their nails done and having their hair braided / styled with all the fun glitter. It was exactly the kind of special, girly experience we were hoping for! Highly recommend Chaubellina Events for a kids' party -- especially if you're looking for something fun, memorable, and professionally done. We would definitely use them again!

Chau and her assistant arrived early to set up, they were super sweet and had so much patience with 25 young girls ages 3-8 years olds. Everyone at our party had fun making bracelets and were happy with their manicure services. I would highly recommend and refer her to all my family and friends. Chau went above and beyond to provide my daughter with a magical and unforgettable spa birthday party! My daughter felt like a princess! Thank you for everything Chaubellina Events!
