Owner is extremely rude. I tried having a conversation and gave me attitude because he was on the phone but asked what I needed.

I loved seeing the sculpture that will be at Burning Man this year. The garden is on the smaller size for a botanical garden (some stuff was under maintenance while we were there) but the gardens were impeccable. My favorite part was all the dahlias. Stunning! Your entry ticket ($12 for adults) also includes admission to the library, which had a bonsai area and some fun history. We were able to easily find free parking nearby. All the staff was so friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about the work. I definitely recommend this spot! Such a beautiful, relaxing space.

Beautiful still. We came the day before Mother's Day for the rose show. Looking forward to coming back when construction completes because at $5 admission that is kind of a rip for how much is there. It took us longer because I recognized someone at the rose show and my son is really into plants but for an average person I'd say 30-45 min is really how much is there right now until they finish the remodel

I was like where is this place and how I have never knew about this being 15 mins away from my house. I had it on my list of places to visit and finally I went there last week and I am so happy that I did. The kind docent Nicole gave me a quick tour of the museum. The museum is all about the history of Southen OC cities which was owned by a guy named Lewis Moulton. The museum is not open every day so check their website before going there. It is for sure worth checking it out!

Even if you…read moreare not a history buff you may have driven around the Laguna Niguel area or Laguna Hills area on Moulton Parkway or Nellie Gale Road and wondered who these streets were named after; you'll find out if you visit here. This museum is located in a small plaza. You can walk through it on your own or have one of the docents walk you through it and tell you the story of Lewis Moulton and his wife Nellie Gale. I opted to have a docent tour and Dave was a wealth of information. My one-on-one tour lasted about an hour; I had a lot of questions and Dave had a lot of answers. The museum is full of artifacts. The placards and video screens along the museum walls give the basic story of the Moultons if you choose not to have a docent accompany you. But it you're not in a hurry - choose to have a docent guide you! I learned so much about the history of the area from Irvine to El Toro (now known as Lake Forest) and southward to Laguna Niguel, Laguna Hills, Mission Viejo and San Juan Capistrano...and the areas surrounding them. The museum is free and has very limited hours but it's worthwhile to find the time to make the visit. They occasionally schedule events at other times which might be more convenient so check their website. Oh, and if you happen to get Dave as your docent, have him tap out some Morse code for you!

The restaurant inside is beautiful, it's done in beautiful shades of red accented with white furniture. The walls are adorned with pictures of past and present Hollywood stars. We started our dining experience with a shared Cesar salad, my boyfriend ordered the lobster ravioli as his entree and I opted for the mushroom chicken, the portions were ample and seasoned perfectly. For dessert we shared the Grand Marnier soufflé, the Soufflé is a show stopper and must order, it was beautiful and served elegantly by Domenico the owner. After dinner we sat at the bar for after dinner cocktails and enjoyed the live Jazz music. The service at this restaurant is Impeccable, the weight staff are like magical fairies, you never have to ask for anything, your glasses are automatically filled, if you leave the table, your napkin is re-folded and dinner plates are cleared promptly after you have finished dining. The Red Room is Old Hollywood Glamour, Orange County has needed a restaurant like this and it has finally arrived. Congratulations to Domenico and his staff. We will definitely return.
