This was a spontaneous night out in Laguna Beach. We decided to do the preview art a-fair. So many incredible talented artists over 100 artists : Pottery, jewelry, gorgeous canvases, metalwork, iron, wood work, glass this beautiful art show had had everything. They do have a few restaurants in the area. This is so worthwhile to go to. It's amazing to see all the local and some not so local artists display all their talent. We enjoyed live music and some free flowing sips and Nibbles. Just a beautiful night out in Laguna Beach. If you have the opportunity to Peru's some of these artists, they will be available until August 30th

The art and the artists are top notch. They deserve 5 stars. What doesn't deserve 5 stars is the security's lack of customer service. The security here seriously think of themselves as Nazi police! My friend tried to take a picture of a tree and he was practically tackled by the security. Today, I tried to use the bathroom in the back and the tall older security dude practically threatened to arrest me over it. He was very confrontational when I told him I was just trying to use the bathroom and he said "How would you even know there is a bathroom back here?" Because I've used it duh. And then he said "You said this was your first time here." And I have non idea why he said, I had never even spoken to him before and I said no such thing. I can see why this place is empty. Get rid of your security team or retrain them to be nice to the guests who support the art. I've purchased various items and spent over $1,000 here. But this place gets a thumbs down on customer service. They need to learn a lesson from Marcy in the back, she knows how to treat people with kindness and respect.

Really cool artist working with paper.

This is an excellent place to see so many talented artists. We highly recommend visiting and listening to the music. Everyone we spoke with was awesome.

Very nice art stroll. There was a live folk/classic rock three piece band playing. There are adult beverages. They have free water for customers. Nice Saturday afternoon outing for adult art lovers in Laguna.

Artists hosting their art in this cool venue next door to the sawdust festival. It's almost the same as the sawdust festival except you don't get sawdust and wood chips in your shoes It's a short walk through but glad we checked out. We saw some really cool 3 dimensional glass art pieces and animal carvings set into frames. Wine and their famous margaritas were pretty good too. There's a restaurant inside called Trivoli. We didn't try it but the courtyard was really quaint and pretty. They have live music and it was fun to relax and take in the entertainment. It was really hot today and this place had a wonderful breeze that traveled through the tent top venue. I don't know why this event isn't part of the Sawdust Festival since it's almost exactly same. Oh well, we enjoyed it just the same. We took the Laguna Beach Trolley (which is totally fun and runs until 11pm) to avoid the always challenging task of finding parking.

What a fabulous way to professionally network...under the stars, at the base of a waterfall, among exquisite art work- enjoying great food and decent bar! Thinking about something different? I strongly recommend 7Seven7 inside Art-A-Fair. @HCE_SoCal knows how to host healthcare execs.

Fully paved and full of fans, breezes and talented artists. Just wish I had the money to buy a few things. It costs about $9 just to get in, but we got in free with our Pageant of the Masters tickets. Honestly I don't think I'd pay specifically to come in here, but its nice to look around since it's free for us. When I move, I can definitely see coming back here to find things for the new place. Its not very big, depending on how much you like to linger and ponder, I'd say an hour is more than sufficient. There is a little restaurant in here called Seven7Seven or something like that. Not a bad spot to relax with a drink. I did not try the food. It doesn't seem to be listed on Yelp. You're not supposed to take pictures of the art so I'll post some of the restaurant in the back and a couple of the artists promo cards whose work I really liked

Art A Fair is the youngest of the 3 art festivals (Sawdust Festival and Festival of Arts) that run concurrently during the summer months in Laguna Beach. Unlike its older sister, the Sawdust Festival, for artists to exhibit and sell their pieces at Art A Fair, they need to pass a jury of judges. So that basically means the artwork will on average be more expensive than what you'll find at the Sawdust. The artists are also from all over the world, not just limited to Laguna Beach, so its more international in scope. There are about 100 plus vendors, so its just half the size of the Sawdust. However, what it lacks in size, Art A Fair has something that both Sawdust and Festival of Arts: the Tivoli Terrace restaurant (also known as Tivoli Too!). I did a separate review of the Tivoli Terrace restaurant. The restaurant ambiance alone is worth the price of admission which is $7.00. Unlike the other festivals, if you pay the admission price, you end up getting a season pass which is good for future visits for that summer. In that sense, it is a better deal money wise compared to the more popular Sawdust. While my bf and I agreed that we liked the variety of artwork in Sawdust more, we actually ended up liking some specific artworks more in Art A Fair. So keep that in mind when comparing the festivals since art is subjective and beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Older children and teenagers might enjoy Art A Fair, but I don't think it will keep a young child entertained. For parking, I recommend going to the designated city lot that offers free bus trolley service to and from the festival grounds. The cost of parking is $7.00

Love the beautiful pieces I purchased from Bob Johnson. Helpful, talented guy! Great experience!

I've been to the Sawdust Art Festival in Laguna Beach probably three or four times now between the…read moresummer and winter festivals and despite the crowds, the traffic, and the absurd lines... I keep going back! I usually attend with a close friend and while she's more of the purchaser, I tend to be a window shopper and craft admirer soaking it all in while seeing what surprises the booths contain. Though last monthI did pick up a few Christmas gifts for friends and family even though there wasn't much holiday specific merchandise. It felt great to support local artists and find some unique pieces. The winter festival decor is especially great with the cozy lights, festive touches, and plenty of spots that are great photo ops for both adults and families. The whole place is whimsical and creative and part of the fun is simply wandering without a plan and seeing what you find! Now for the realities: parking is insane, traffic can be really bad, and the lines for entry, food, and sometimes even the restrooms can really test your patience. The food lines in particular are ridiculous, so I usually eat before and/or plan dinner outside the festival (it's cheaper and less crazy). Pro tip: buy your ticket online and show it at the door. Do not wait in line to purchase tickets on site unless you enjoy unnecessary suffering!! All that said, the Sawdust Festival remains uniquely Laguna and there's always that sense of mystery about what you'll discover. Overall, four stars from me!

This was our first, and possibly our last time that we will be attending one of these events. The parking situation was insane. We sat in bad traffic (caused by the festival as well as the construction being done on the highway) heading to Lot 16, only to find out after 35 minutes of slowly creeping and lapping down the minimal amount of lanes of parking (along with many other drivers doing the same thing) that we should just turn around and head back to Irvine for their free temporary lot instead. So we sat in major traffic again now headed back to Irvine to hopefully catch a trolley from there. (There went about an hour of our lives wasted.) So we get back to that lot and wait another 20 minutes or so only to find out that the next trolley that pulled up leaking all kinds of stuff, and the driver telling everyone that the trolley is out of commission and that the group would have to wait for the next one. Oy! So at this point we would have called it quits and cancelled this option for the day, BUT we had already prepaid online for our tickets... So we decided to spring for an uber instead. We were originally FIRST in line, but because the trolley pulled up to the stop and just parked there (blocking) broken down, everyone turned and faced the other way and now we would have been the absolute LAST loading the next trolley. (There was a huge crowd by then.) Our uber experience was much more pleasant, but there we were once again sitting in heavier traffic heading back in the direction we were originally that morning. What a day... Long story short, we get in and there are just crowds EVERYWHERE. It was so tight at times trying to walk past the individual booths, and hearing people (including multiple vendors) just hacking and sneezing away WAS NOT helping. Our family had managed to remain healthy and disease free all Winter, and we were definitely not planning on getting the flu, COVID or whatever as this seemed like a true disease spreader event. The food and drinks area were much worse, and once we got our food we ended up squeezing ourselves into a little pocket of an area and stood to drink our drinks and eat our quick meals. After perusing the entire proximity and spending a little time chatting with a few of the vendors, we took a few photos by the central Christmas tree and a little scenery (trying my best not to get any crowds into our shots), and headed our way out to the trolley. As we passed the ticket booth, we asked a young gal which direction the trolleys would be picking up and she just rudely shrugged and said she didn't know. The afternoon and evening ended up being quite long because of all the parking hassles and crowds. I don't feel it was worth our time for that day.

We couldn't really talk with the artists in the festival as the band playing Beach Boys music was so loud. I think each event, taken separately, was nice but all together it was a bit much. VIP definitely had the perks - its own bleachers, separate entrance (closer to the parking areas, so you walk less), and air-conditioned bathrooms. The stage had big screens which made it easy to see the bands perform from almost any viewpoint (except the back where the food vendors were located). By the way, there are plenty of food and drink options! Free hydration stations were available too (bring your own non-glass bottle to fill up). We arrived around 6 PM and lucked out with parking at the structure near Dana Point Harbor (the Ohana Fest website offered prepaid parking here, but indicated it was sold out). I went twice this year and got tickets at a significantly discounted price at the box office and they stop selling tickets at 8 pm. The closer to the front the better, but there's not a bad seat in the house. Finally went to Pageant of the Masters after years of hearing about it but still not understanding what it is. This year's theme was Gold Coast: Treasures of California which featured different types of artwork from local California artists as well as the many art museums throughout California and some of the famous pieces stored at those museums. I really enjoyed it because I love art museums and seeing some of these art works come to life and learn the history behind them was neat but I also absorbed all of the info. about it. I met up with a friend here who was a Pageant fan. We got here an hour and a half before they opened the amphitheater up and go to see the art exhibits outside. I'd compare it to going to the Hollywood Bowl to hang out and eat and drink outside the gates before you go in to see a show. There was tons of art and artists with their work on display and for sale and outdoor seating with a small stage with some amazing bands playing. The artwork here is not your typical artwork you'd see at an art walk, these artists and their works are for serious and REAL buyers. Art gallery type work that featured paintings, sculptures, photography that was bold, unique and of a a variety of tastes. Once inside, there's an orchestra playing music underneath the stage. It is recreations of paintings on a large scale, using humans and with a live orchestra. They use not only the stage, but also the smaller stages to the right and left and the hillside a bit to execute the vision. Bring binoculars to get a more detailed view and to see who is a human and who is just a cutout of a human. Production is very cool! Defiinitely a vibe and something fun to see with the whole family.

They really need to liven up the entertainment. I live around the corner and I'm in my 50s but I…read morefeel like all the music is made for people over 80. It used to be so much fun to go there to listen to the music before the show but now it's just a bunch of old people sitting around. They need to appeal to younger people and live it up. I also like to see more concerts during the off-season in the Irvine bowl.

I loved the live music, the dancing, the singing, the food vendors and other clothing, trinket vendors. They had a kids section with face painting. Something for everyone. It was awesome being in an environment with yaya's and pappoús, and family mixed young and old enjoying music, food, and just being happy. My parents made it there sooner than i had and already were immersing themselves with Side - Tzatziki & Pita $4.00 Spanakopita (1 piece) $7.00 Greek Salad - small $7.00 for $18.00 All while enjoying how to learn greek dancing and listening to music. When I arrived, the good times were still rolling and i had to order my chicken gyro with fries. Soo worth it. Yumm! I went for their Greek Sundae with Baghalava and they had to stop serving it for one reason or another. It was the talk of the festival about how great it was. Next year, definitely thats on my bucket list. Thats the first thing im getting. Seeing the lamb roasted on the spit reminded me of the movie "my big fat greek wedding". Same vibes, 1000%. Everything was clean and organized and loved it! It still going on until 11pm, as i was leaving at 5pm people were still arriving and the party was still getting lit! I have to pace myself next year. I purchased some cute stuff by the vendors , specifically : and Evil Eye Tote and evil eye accessories. For those who know me, know the "mati" is real and your girl here doesnt take any chances. Hehehe. Iykyk!! ;) Overall, 10/10.

The wine booth and beer tent are always fun. They always play the key college football games so the fans do not have an excuse not to go. We enjoyed a bottle of wine with some friends and strangely it paired well with a tasty gyro and some Greek fries. There is Greek music and dancers too. Fun family event.
