It's a straightforward, family-run place in Olde Town--nothing fancy about the setup, just a solid local spot that focuses on getting the food right. Their pizza is consistently good. The crust holds up, the cheese melts the way you want it to, and the sauce has actual flavor instead of just tasting like plain tomato. I've ordered a few different pies over time and they all come out the way you'd hope from a neighborhood pizza shop. The pasta dishes are generous and reliable too if you're in the mood for something other than a pie. It's the kind of place where you order takeout or swing by for a quick meal and don't overthink it. Service is friendly and no-nonsense, which fits the whole vibe. For a local pizza option that's dependable and doesn't try too hard, Freddy's does the job well. It's one of the spots I still recommend when someone asks where to get a solid pie nearby

I started off with a Mandarin Orange - it did not have either color but still tasted refreshing. For the main dish, I went with one of their "Red Pizzas". It is called Salsiccia. I must have been hungry as I only left with just one slice, and I did have it the next day. My friend had a "Red Pizza" as well. Theirs was Genoa and it was with salami, roasted peppers, fresh mozzarella, and pecorino. They also enjoyed their pizza too. We were both too full to try dessert and I do love their desserts. We got a Margherita pizza and thought that it was tasty (a little chintzy with the toppings). We will definitely be back in the future!

Everything was so flavorful. The pasta was cooked perfectly al dente, focaccia bread was close to perfect, and the pizza was really good. I would have liked the undercarriage of the pizza be cooked just a little more, but overall, it was still very good. The gelato was yummy as well. The prices are moderate, and overall, we had a great experience.

You can taste the quality of the dough and it was nice and firm, but chewy at the same time--very good! The cheese did not slide off upon picking up (had the most mid pie at Modo Mio in Arlington) and the toppings were also pretty solid. Thought about whether this place is a 4 or 5 star and what decides that is if I'd come back and I definitely will. We'll give them a 5 star!!

This guy should teach other restaurants how to do customer service. Now let's talk about the food. I ordered a gluten free margarita pizza add chicken and the bolognese pasta. Both were incredible.
