Innovative and Auto Customs were matched but after scouring the internet for reviews, I found Innovative Audio to have mixed reviews and far too many of those were negative. I decided to call Auto Customs on a Friday around noon to see if... by chance... they may have any Saturday openings. I spoke with Scott, the owner and he said all Saturday morning was open. I decided to take the 7 am appointment to get it in and get it done early. I arrived at 7 am and the owner Mr. Scott was waiting on me. He introduced himself and confirmed my name and the price he quoted me on the phone. We agreed I wanted the darkest shade legally possible (darkest in the rear, lighter on the back seat windows and lightest on the front windows). I inquired about the visor tint and he said that in Louisiana it was only legal to have tint 5 inches from the top of my windshield. In the end, I realized it wouldn't be that much more coverage so I opted out. Mr. Scott is a one man show: He's your tint guy, he's your salesman, he's the owner - he does it all! The waiting area may not look too impressive, but then again it's a tint shop waiting area - what do you expect? Mr. Scott referred me to a couple local eateries while I waited on my car. It was a nice time to take a look around downtown Denham. I returned 2 1/2 hours later to find a phenomenal job on my car. It appears darker than I would have thought was legal but he swears it's legal! I am less than one week out and noticed a few bubbles in the tint but I was told that was normal and it should dissipate within the week. Overall, I can't recommend this place enough. I could've kicked myself for not getting tint on my car sooner. It makes such a difference in the car. I LOVE it! Give Mr. Scott a call. He will give you a fair price and do a great job. Oh and P.S. make sure you ask about the warranty on your tint. He normally gives a 1 year but if you ask, he may make it more! ;-)

I learned the windshield has advanced functions including sensors for lane control and collision avoidance and a camera that requires in-shop calibration. I confirmed separately the replacement windshield (Pilkington) is high quality and compares very favorably with the OEM windshield that would be much more expensive. When I returned for the removal, the owner told me if he removed the tint, I would have to take down my Google review! After the tint was removed, he initially issued a refund but then canceled it instead of honoring the agreement. I have photos documenting the quality of the tint and the refund cancellation! The entire experience showed a lack of professionalism, accountability, and respect for the customer! I encourage others to be cautious and thoroughly research their options before choosing this shop!!!!!
