My son started out a bit nervous about driving, but Coach Dave created a calm learning environment and my son actually looked forward to his lessons. One thing I really appreciated is that the training included day and night driving, as well as driving in light rain, which made the experience much more realistic for a new driver. That kind of real-world exposure is important when someone is learning. Kelly, the receptionist and assistant, was also extremely helpful. She provided scheduling information promptly and made the process smooth and organized. Overall, the pricing is reasonable, the instruction is thorough, and most importantly my son felt safe, supported, and heard throughout the process. I would absolutely recommend Coach Dave's Ultimate Driving Academy to anyone looking for quality driving instruction.

Terrible service, I took the class in December and had to wait 6 months to complete my drive time,…read moredespite going up to the school multiple times and asking for when my rides would be scheduled. The only time we got a response was when my grandmother reached out and threatened legal action. Once I got my drives scheduled the man in the vehicle did little to keep my focus on the road, constantly bringing up political issues and matters that made me as a young woman, uncomfortable. I do not recommend this place to anyone but especially not to young women, they charge way too much for the classes and drive time and the staff is so incredibly rude and unprofessional. My experience with this company has been nothing but strenuous and frustrating, not worth anyone's time or money!

This was my experience today: I went to Academics of Driving LLC in Covington with my daughter for her driving test this morning... We were instructed to bring masks with us when we scheduled the appointment yesterday. As soon as we arrived, I noticed two 8"x10" signs in the entryway stating "FACE MASK REQUIRED", yet none of the 3 staff members I encountered immediately upon entering were masked. When the instructor (Mike) invited me and my daughter into his office, I said politely but assertively: "I'm not comfortable with the no-mask situation." He smirked and asked if I was serious. I said: "Yes; I have respiratory conditions and I need to be very careful." My daughter nodded to confirm. He replied: "And you think this thing [gesturing to the flimsy gaiter slung around his neck] will protect you?" I didn't know how to answer that so I just sort-of stared blankly at him for a minute. He smirked again and pulled the gaiter up over his mouth and nose -- and he had to keep pulling it back up over his nose because it kept slipping every time he talked. The other (older) guy in the room didn't say anything (also an employee, apparently, but I didn't get his name), but he excused himself to go outside and he came back in wearing a disposable surgical mask. And I thanked him for doing so -- sincerely. Then the instructor (Mike) said he needed me to fill out and sign several papers, but I was uncomfortable leaning over his desk into his face, so I took the papers back out into the hall/entryway and held them up to the wall to fill out. The other (now-masked) guy politely brought me a clipboard to use "so the pen doesn't run out of ink". My daughter (double-masked) was in a car with that ***hole (Mike) for the next 15-20 minutes during which time he asked her overly personal questions and commented how he "remembered" one of her co-workers... This dude is easily in his 50s and my daughter and her coworker are TEENagers.
