My daughter did very well & she learned a lot. Now she will take 4 sessions of 2 hours worth of driving. I have been very pleased so far & would highly recommend them. I have had other people recommend them to me as well.

Drive Dat works so well with each student and ensures that everyone gets the help that they are seeking, one way or another. I was able to quickly work my way toward my driver's license and be able to drive on my own thanks to their excellent teaching. I would recommend, and I had Mr. Mike as my instructor.

When I tell you Jadian gave me A1 service with a great personality. She gave me helpful information to help study for the cdl test general knowledge, study testing apps. What I love the most she was ok that I enroll at another school but still helped me in anyway possible. With the information she gave me I passed my cdl permit test on the first round. If you able to attend safe road truck driving school you won't regret it.

I passed it all good…read more But when I got to the part where I had to take my practice driving text was horrible First off, I was under the impression that I'm driving in my subdivision, not all the way in New Orleans or wherever we were I know it was not my neighborhood at least that's what was on the paper that I signed my name on so that made me uncomfortable and then I'm driving for a full four hours with no brakes so at this point, my legs are falling asleep Just tiring also my driving instructor was very disrupting He was on the phone the whole time wha tapping his feet on the ground And I was practically running errands I don't know don't sound too professional And also, they call at last minute I was on vacation when they called so I had to pay a $50 reschedule fee. I paid that then I showed up to the practice test Not to mention at the end of the practice test, the paper that's supposed to tell me what I did wrong what I need to fix and all of that was just blank Nothing on it then a couple days later they schedule my actual driving test. I show up one minute late and my driving instructor is already gone now they want me to pay $75 Do they really think people are made out of money? Like I paid 550 starting then another 50 Now they want 75 Like common i'm broke I'm just trying to get my drivers license it shouldn't be this hard Very unorganized !! Like can I get a refund at this point please??

Daryl was a kind and gentle yet firm driving instructor. These people are the only people I feel comfortable talking about. The rest of the program needs a facelift and a more friendly customer service environment.

It has been over four months and still waiting for opportunities to schedule times for the last two drives. Not sure if this is a staffing problem or what. We have reached out to them several times without resolution.

This was my experience today: I went to Academics of Driving LLC in Covington with my daughter for her driving test this morning... We were instructed to bring masks with us when we scheduled the appointment yesterday. As soon as we arrived, I noticed two 8"x10" signs in the entryway stating "FACE MASK REQUIRED", yet none of the 3 staff members I encountered immediately upon entering were masked. When the instructor (Mike) invited me and my daughter into his office, I said politely but assertively: "I'm not comfortable with the no-mask situation." He smirked and asked if I was serious. I said: "Yes; I have respiratory conditions and I need to be very careful." My daughter nodded to confirm. He replied: "And you think this thing [gesturing to the flimsy gaiter slung around his neck] will protect you?" I didn't know how to answer that so I just sort-of stared blankly at him for a minute. He smirked again and pulled the gaiter up over his mouth and nose -- and he had to keep pulling it back up over his nose because it kept slipping every time he talked. The other (older) guy in the room didn't say anything (also an employee, apparently, but I didn't get his name), but he excused himself to go outside and he came back in wearing a disposable surgical mask. And I thanked him for doing so -- sincerely. Then the instructor (Mike) said he needed me to fill out and sign several papers, but I was uncomfortable leaning over his desk into his face, so I took the papers back out into the hall/entryway and held them up to the wall to fill out. The other (now-masked) guy politely brought me a clipboard to use "so the pen doesn't run out of ink". My daughter (double-masked) was in a car with that ***hole (Mike) for the next 15-20 minutes during which time he asked her overly personal questions and commented how he "remembered" one of her co-workers... This dude is easily in his 50s and my daughter and her coworker are TEENagers.

Took over 3 months to schedule the driver's portion of the exam. Stated they would call to schedule…read moreme & never did. Make sure to call the company multiple times. I am still not currently scheduled for the driver's portion. It's been 5 months since the written portion. If you don't pay the expedited fee, they will push you to the side.
