    I've been working out with Andrea twice a week for the past eight months, and I can't recommend her…read morehighly enough! I came to her after doing a short stint in CrossFit, where I was struggling with hip pain and unable to keep up with the high volume of squats. My goal was to focus on strength training and building muscle. From day one, Andrea really listened and tailored our sessions to focus on building strength and muscle without aggravating my hip. Andrea is incredibly attentive to form, always making sure I'm moving safely and effectively which is a huge priority for me. I continue to progress in building up my strength and I feel stronger and more confident in my body than I have in years--I've lost body fat, gained muscle, and feel like I'm truly training with intention now. Andrea helped me with nutritional guidance, including dialing in my macros to make sure I'm fueling properly to support muscle growth. She also gives me home workouts so I can stay consistent and keep progressing even on days we're not training together. Andrea balances listening to what I want while also pushing me just the right amount. She is knowledgeable, encouraging, and genuinely invested in her clients' success. I'm so glad I found her!

We started off aligning on goals for BMI, strength, physique, nutrition (which I reached ahead of my wedding date thanks to Andrea!). Each training session was custom according to my and my husband's needs and mobility (per the FMS method). As we progressed Andrea tweaked the sessions accordingly, which kept workouts interesting and at the right level of difficulty. Andrea taught us tons about long-term health, nutrition and fitness that I am using in my day-to-day. Turning these habits into a new lifestyle has been the best takeaway from this experience. It was always a dream of mine to work with a personal trainer. And now I can confidently say that the sessions and results with Andrea are just as good as I imagined.

    I just finished my fifth session with Katie and she has been wonderful to work with. I am slightly…read moreover weight, very active, and have a tendency to vacillate between orthoexia and overeating. When I met with Katie, she reviewed my food logs and helped me see why I was not achieving my fitness and health goals. She breaks things down into easy to do small steps and is very realistic and practical in her suggestions. Katie is also extremely knowledgeable about supplements and helped me figure out how to best spend my supplement budget to support my well being. I have ulcerative colitis and she had many suggestions for improving my gut health that have led to me being completely in remission as of a few months ago. I learned that I am gluten and dairy intolerant and Katie has helped me figure out how to navigate social situations and also how to reduce my carb intake to lose weight. I am still working on putting all these suggestions into practice but I look forward to seeing the results and continuing to work with her in the future.

She is not pushy or judgmental, but rather very calm and friendly. She was willing to meet at a public place after hours when my schedule did not allow for me to meet her during her office hours.
