The dude and I came here on 2/15/21 a day after Valentines Day so I could get a small work purse for my side job. I have never been to the outlets in Pismo so the dude and I were excited well mostly me. We found parking so easily and when we entered we were greeted by staff. All staff was wearing their face masks appropriately. They had a lot of sales going on which I have always wanted a floral coach purse as I am a huge fan of floral! So the purple floral purse caught my attention in a heart beat and it was on sale for $100! Which was a steal. I was also in need of a new make -up bag as my Ralph Lauren one was so beaten up but I had that small purse for years and used it as a make up bag xD so it was time for me to start fresh and upgrade myself and I'm so happy I did! Now my new make up bag can be a fresh start to 2021 with many adventures to come! Overall, this location is HUGE and there's things for men as well. The dude is not into designer things except Vans xD but I did see some nice things for him. Anywho, the total was about $170 which is not bad for 2 Coach items. I would highly recommend coming to this location to meet your handbag needs. Since I'm always on the go. I just need a small bag to carry my things such as glasses and phone that is it and sometimes my keys so I can be hands free and still have important items on me. We were visiting here at pismo beach, decided to kill some time before checking into our hotel and why not get our Xmas shopping out the way. So we stopped here and these 2 ladies who work here. Cashier named destiny, very sweet and very helpful. My husband bought a really nice purse for me and destiny had offered to help pick a wallet out since husband was not sure which wallet to pick. She picked a wallet n brought it back to him to show. Also a lady named Stephanie who was very helpful had saw that we were carrying 2 boxes of vans shoes without any bags as vans did not provide us with any shipping bags. I was there last night. 10 minutes before they closed. They close at 7pm. I rushed in there grabbed my item and went straight to the register. It was the day before Thanksgiving and as much as my heart wanted to look around, I was considerate of the staff. I stood at the register waiting to be acknowledged to check out. In the meantime two ladies were behind the counter, were doing their closing duties, they both saw me and they continued working. A few minutes after the onky one behind the counter was an older lady. Finally she said, " are you ready?" She already seemed annoyed. I responded, "yes". Then she asked the younger girl to check me out. I had my card ready in hand at checkout. While the transaction was going through I kindly asked if she could wrap it, as it was a gift for someone, wrapping consists of a cardboard box and tissue for the bag. It would take less than 30 seconds. The cashier said, I can't I'm need to clock out. She gave me box and tissue in a bag. She looked over to the older woman, and asked her If she could wrap it. The other lady looked digusted and responded I don't have time. I didn't say anything and looked at her, she stared me down. I said this isn't good service. She said, well you got a box and tissue paper, with a smirk on her face. I told her the time it takes her to stand there and stare at me, you could have kindly wrapped it. If it's not a service provided, not sure at this point but, just how I was treated and spoken to was not expected. I asked her for her name, she said Mila, as she jerked her neck at me . I told her as I walked away, thank you for your poor service. Here I was being considerate of the time and ran in there grabbed my item and from the moment I stepped up to the counter I was ignored. I stood there as the staff walked back and forth past me and no one saud anything to me. Atleast, and I'll be right with you, would be nice. When I finally got acknowledged, The older lady blurted from underneath her breath, " are you ready?" She was already annoyed with me. I hope the store has cameras and they use this footage to train their staff on how NOT to treat a customer. I walked out of there at 6:57pm. If this job dosen't suit you Mila find another one. You made it an awful experience. Your staff could also use another choice of words other than I have to clock out. Suggestions from a unhappy customer. 1. If placing an item in a box with tissue is not a service, let the customer know. 2. smile when helping a customer 3. If your busy, acknowledge them don't let them just stand there. 4. If you need to clock out, then 30 seconds extra won't break the bank. 5. Mila, never tell a customer you have a box and tissue what more do you want. Yikes!!!!! If I could give zero starts I would. They are completely racist. They didn't greet or help me and an African American family but whenever white people would come in they would greet them and ask if they needed help. I observed their behavior and never once did they ask me or the African American family for help. And yet i overheard the manager tell the ladies 'good job covering the floor and helping customers ' I laughed and told her that no one greeted me or asked if I needed help. They lost business today because I was in search for birthday gifts and early Christmas gifts. And I will never return to the coach outlet again! I went in with my younger brother to buy some birthday presents for him and I had just came from the beach. Of course I had my Marc Jacob's duffle bag w/ me they asked for me to put it by the register, no problem, had some problems with my bank but staff was nice enough to be patient. I need my duffle bag back since I was never given it back which has both of my schedule iv meds and I would seize out without them and also I have other expensive items in there as well as clothes and and money. I visited this location for the first time and I have to say I wasn't that impressed. I've been to other larger stores that have a better selection of merchandise and more sales. The sale today was 20% off if you spend $200. I've had better sales elsewhere that give an additional 40-50% off everything in store and more attractive clearance items. I really want to like this store. I love Coach purses. I have MK purses, but I just like the Coach brand more. This is why I am saddened to write this review. The staff are nice, but they are overly annoying at times. For me, when I am coming in to the store, I already know what bag I want. If the store has it, they don't have to even sell it to me. It's an easy sale for them. A few days ago, I went in to the store, where 2 eager staff greet me. They ask if I have something in mind. I tell them the bag I want, which they do not have. In the past 6 months, I have been in the store 3 times with specific bags in mind. They NEVER have the bag. I am writing this review because it is so very annoying when a customer comes in wanting a specific bag. I wanted a black Blake or Swagger bag. They did not have that bag, but wanted to show me some ugly bags with south west print all over them. They wanted to show me bags with characters or ugly patterns printed all over them. They wanted to show me gaudy bags with cold chains. I JUST WANTED A BLACK BAG. I was very polite, because I know they are trying. I just think that when you are in sales, you need to know your customer. I wanted a professional, nice looking black bag to replace my 5 year old black bag that has seen better days. Walked in today 11/1/20 in the mood to shop. My boyfriend and I spent our anniversary in the area. I walked In and wasn't greeted, I figured they were busy (I wasn't paying much attention. Not more than 35 seconds later I realized there's 3 girls in the middle of the sales floor talked amongst themselves while 1 you g lady is with a customer. I walked around found a cute black wallet for my soon to be teenager that I would have gladly purchased. My boyfriend walked in and he was greeted. So we're walking around at one point I made eye contact with a young lady, never asked me if I needed help, was I finding everything ok NOTHING. I walked up to a white handbag that had a nice discount and again would have been more inclined to purchase had someone said something. Maybe it was because I was in a relaxed outfit? This was a nice place to shop at. The gals there were very attentive and I felt very well tended to. I ended up text messaging prices and pictures to my sisters back at home because I knew they'd be interested in a good deal.. sure enough, I bought a bag for my sister - a really nice black leather purse for $140... yeah, still pricey, but it's leather and actually quite big and the stitches are well done and I own plenty of Coach purses to know they do last long (the leather ones, at least). The selection was very nice - lots of pastels in signature and in patent and in leather as well as a lot of other leather colors (black, gold, pink, mauve, etc). They had everything from purses to umbrellas and scarves.. a lot for being an outlet. Be still my beating heart .... the Coach store finally arrived with great anticipation throughout my circle and has sprinkled handbags everywhere! This is truly the dawn of a new day on the Central Coast. Ok, ok, I grew up here so I have a little more history with the shopping void that existed just a decade or so ago. I deserve to applaud this store, and it's obvious corporate directed high level of customer service. Walking in the doors, it is an obviously different shopping experience than we have grown accustomed to. Travertine floors, soft lighting and minimal tables and shelves that highlight the handbags, purses, clutches, key fobs and other leather-laden accessories. Yes, yes ladies, the initial glance at a price tag may send you into momentary sticker shock. Keep in mind you will likely be clutching a daily discount coupon that the gracious and helpful staff gives out as you enter -- up to 30% -- and the signs adorning the tables and shelves usually indicate as much as 50% off the tag. All in all, you walk away with a quality, warrantied handbag over your shoulder that screams style and taste for a fraction (less than 50%) of what the next gal paid at Saks in Santa Barbara. Score! From the obvious attention to detail in the ambience to the helpful and courteous staff, to my mind the extra $$ is worth it. Thankfully, this small boutique brings us an inch or two further up the ladder toward the shopping destination levels of our Central Coast cities to the North and South. If they have a sales or coupons someone will explain how the coupons work. I have purchased a few cross body purses here, the leather quality has stood up to a few years of wear and tear, at some point I'll buy a full purse. Felt very uninvited and felt like all the employees were watching me. I asked the manager for a price check on an item and then a few minutes later I see her examining the exact item I was asking about. I also had some returns to do with my mother and any time we had a question the employee we would ask would need the manager to come and help us. They also seemed very unwilling to help because when it came to the returns they seemed kind of like robots. I was the one asking, "Can you do this?" "Can you do that?" "Is this possible?" Not once did any of the employees go, "Maybe we can try this." I expect way better customer service from a manager especially when it comes to a store where the items aren't exactly cheap. I don't live in the area and was not able to return the purse, which I never used (still had tags on it and I had the original receipt), until after 30 days. Not only would they not take it back but they refused to even give store credit. If they were going to change the policy, they should have noted that via signs or verbally. I used to go and buy from them almost every time I was up there . I will no longer buy from them. And unless you like horrible customer service, I suggest you do the same. I was shopping with my mother and 5 yr old daughter today in the outlet store. My mother was purchasing over 500.00 worth of merchandise, when one of the sales associates asked my 5 yr old what was in her purse, my daughter opened her purse as the associate rifled through it. It took me a few minutes to figure out what she was doing. This associate crossed the line. If she thought for ANY reason or had suspicion of theft, she should have asked for my consent. Walked in and was not greeted the entire time shopping (usually someone always asks if I need help). We received another mailer with tier savings and wanted to use it. Last time we were there we did not have the mailer but they looked up my email and applied the coupon. Was such a hassle this time. The associate was new and very friendly but the store manager was condensing and rude to her associate and me. Thank you Angelica for trying to right the situation! The 2 blondes that worked the afternoon shift on 12/18 need to be fired. Their lack of attentiveness for customers is just beyond ridiculous. When ANY customer walks in to a store, sometimes they are actually there to spend money and shouldn't be ignored because of what they're wearing or how they look. Customer service I would think is a VERY huge aspect of why Coach hires their employees and these 2 literally ignored the couple who walked in and stayed at the counter talking about their "weekend parties" and blah blah blah. Not once did they approach this couple but they sure did side eye them as though they weren't good enough to be in the store. I overheard the male telling his wife that it was her birthday and she can have whatever she wanted in the store, limitless spending. Regardless of whether or not the 2 girls knew this, had they actually had any customer service and walked up to them and asked if they needed help, either one of them or both of them would've learned this and wouldn't probably had a big sale with this couple. Every couple minutes another girl would ask if I had questions. I just wanted to look a little first. Good customer survice though. Don't pay full price, join their mailing list and they will email you when there will be deals. I went in the day before Christmas and everything was 60% off. I was going to get one purse but got 2 for just a little over $200. What a deal!! The total before the discount was $500+. I wouldn't pay that much but $100 for a Coach purse is pretty good.
