Today was my first time trying this place. A friend recommended it. I was very happy with the last person I used to go to, but her schedule was a little tight so decided to try this one. I came here for microblading my brows and ended up with 2 different shaped eyebrows. I asked so many times not to go thicker and she didn't listen. Not only that she didn't apply enough numbing cream before starting and told me to tough it out when I said I could feel her cutting my skin. When confronting her about her mistake, she turned around and got upset. I'm the one stuck with these semi permanent eyebrows. I certainly hope you can learn to be more respectful to your clients because your clients did come her to get poor treatment from you. One hard lesson learned for me. I was running a little late for my appointment and she was super kind about it. She is welcoming and makes sure that you're all set for comfort before she starts because it takes about an hour and a half. She played good mellow music which was very relaxing. The room is cute and clean. The bed you lay on has a small soft pillow so that your head won't hurt . You could even take a nap if you wanted. I got the style "mega" because I love long full lashes and that's definitely what I got! The price was $150 which isn't bad considering I got the fullest, longest style. I loved the results. First off, I am a lash artist myself so I am super picky about how my lashes are done. Plus my eyes are monolids so it's a bit of a challenge to make them look bigger and nicer. I have tried 3 other technicians and have never been back. I am so happy and content of how my lashes look after a session with Cookie. There is no professionalism from the owner whatsoever. If going to Co0kie's Beaute Bar (which I would not recommend unless you want to lose your real lashes too), I would say to dress very nicely and to her standards, otherwise she makes negative assumptions about you and sees it as an opportunity to do careless work. My mom has been getting lash extensions for about two years and decided to try this place for a change, the lash artist, who is also the owner, kept piling the on her eyelids and was practically sprinkling the lashes on. The lashes looked nice, but they were extremely uncomfortable, especially when my mom closed her eyes. The lashes were so bad, my mom had to go back to our original lash artist to have them removed. Our lash artist said there was so much glue and in all the wrong places, that had my mom gone the 2-3 weeks with them, her real lashes would have been gone too! When I asked for a partial refund, the owner got very defensive and the little professionalism she seemed to have went out the door. She tried to find any excuse possible to place the blame on my mom, including that my mom could not decide between classic or volume lashes within the first 3 minutes we got there, and as mentioned before the way we looked. It definitely wasn't about getting our money back anymore, it was about her taking responsibility for actions and work and apologizing for doing such terrible work! I would think more than twice about coming to this place to get your lashes done, there are so many other great lash artists out there who actually deserve your time and money and will do outstanding work to prove it. Overall this "lash artist" was highly unprofessional throughout and just a horrible experience. I have tried a dozen eyelash artists and each one I've liked a lot but it also came with a con that made me iffy to come back. When I found Cookie's IG I decided to give her work a try and I am in love!!!! Not only does she do it in a much faster time rate than most - but she does an amazing job too imo! For my first time with her I wanted to try a very wispy volume that she already had done on a different client and when she did it for my eyes, I was so happy. Other artists couldn't really give me the wispy look I wanted but luckily I found Cookie. She killed it!! For my refill, unfortunately I didn't maintain it as great as I should have but I let her know and she replied back on IG so quick. We were able to push my appointment earlier so that I had time for a new set. I tried a mega set for the first time yesterday and I am absolutely shook. My eyes are poppin' and I love it so much! She is also very willing to try different styles and sizes to see what works for your eyes or to your liking. In this case, I started with 15s with the wispy volume and moved up to 16s with my mega set for more length to show. Cookie is nothing but sweet and professional. I didn't realize my eyelashes grew fast until she mentioned it to me so now we're able to coordinate refills more efficiently at two and a half weeks instead of me always getting a new set every time at three and I really appreciate that. Her place is also super cute, I love the decor and the bed, omg. I fall asleep instantly. You just sink in and it's just so soft and comfy. My only downside is that it's a bit farther for me to travel because I don't drive atm, but honestly, I will continue to come here because of Cookie and her wonderful service!
