As we were ordering, my friend mentioned to the lovely person behind the counter that I am a vancouverite. "Oh, so we're not special to you," she said. I agreed, but they're not in Vancouver. Yet, the atmosphere and the beer are definitely standouts - and especially great for Saskatoon, since I think this is the first brewery with a tasting room in the city. And they have delicious ciders too wahoo

Yesterday we opted for sandwiches. My husband loved his Rueben, after we heard from the sandwichdad on Instagram they have one of the best sandwiches in Saskatoon (the Rueben) and the jalapeño popper sandwich caught my eye which was perfectly balanced with the cheese and jalapeños. The soup was a perfect dip to eat with the sandwich or alone. I liked my flight of beers I had as well and noticed a happy hour from 2-5pm on some days of the week that looked appealing.

Could I consider this like a brewery where monks live? (I mean that in the nicest way) The ciders were all deliciously tasty and the place was cozy inside. Seating is limited but since it was a week day we had no issues finding a spot for 3 adults and 2 kids. I got the fuzzy peach slushy cider mix while my husband and father in law got flights. Every cider was unique tasting and all delicious - I found it hard to find a favourite.
