We have shopped happily at this store for quite a few years, but from Nov 12th 2018, when the new parking rules start we will have to go elsewhere. 90 minutes maximum for a full weeks shopping, spending maybe £90/£100 each time is not conducive to a happy experience under such a limit....certainly no time to use the restaurant for a coffee break. The changes we are told is because people are using the car park who are not shopping in the store....so Waitrose are penalizing its regular weekly shoppers who cannot conform to a 90 minute limit.....don't you want our £90/£100 per week....you need to rethink such a silly idea.

This is precisely what I use this Sainsburys for as I usually order my groceries online. However, this is a big enough grocery shop to do ones' weekly shop in, which I have done occasionally. There is generally a decent selection of goods in this large store and it's also perfect for stopping in later at night on the way home from a meal in Bromley to pick up that spare bottle of wine or that extra pint of ice cream!

My friends who live locally love this place, as they get access to a vast range of fresh produce - especially the aubergine, fenugreek, and garlic - yes the garlic is also cheaper here than other places, the coriander and mint are also very fresh and lasts longer than other places I have bought from. You can also get samosa's naan and other classic indian ingredients for all your cooking needs. Whats refreshing about this place is that it exists! Petts Wood has a lot of large franchises, such as Sainsburys, Iceland Morrisons etc...so its good to have a local business around the corner with more authentic produce. Hurrah for local business!

Being a super store it also sells the tesco clothing and has a specs-savers and a pharmacy all located inside the store. WRONG. Freshfields Market has an ASTONISHING array of local and international craft beers. Seriously, there is a whole freaking WALL devoted to the fine art of artisanal brews. From the well known craft breweries like Thornbridge to the distinctly local like Cronx, Freshfields has a dizzying selection of beers that would make even the most casual of drinkers tingle with excitement. Every time my husband and I visit we stand in front of the shelves like the proverbial kids in a candy shop unable to make a decision on which of the beers to try. It is no secret that I enjoy my beer. I brew it, I'm looking for a career in it... and this, man... this shop makes me feel like a child. It makes me excited to be a part of a growing demographic of young professionals who are looking to push the boundaries of brewing. They not only carry bottled beer but also they have the option of purchasing four pint carry outs that are tapped from two barrels so you get your beer straight from the barrel and not bottle conditioned.
