I reached out to this beautiful space to bring a religious "Christian" gathering to the meeting…read morerooms Sunday evenings. The purpose was to bring a few families together and share a word of hope and faith. I intended to use it for a few weeks while we found something with a children area. I was assisted promptly and professionally via email and telephone. Apparently, there was a confusion with my reservation request and luckily I walked in to confirm my reservation. I was welcomed by the co owner, and manager Ms. Cindy. She was very nice explaining the confusion and agreed to honor our initial request. The event was a total success, our guests loved the venue, its amenities, the ambiance and the central location. The staff at the venue were great too. I am just sorry it did not work out for future events. The Newton will make wonderful venue for everything else except "Christian" religious gatherings.

Very nice location near lots of shopping and things to do. We ordered the enchilada special ($15)…read moreand added chicken ($7) and it was delicious. It was served with salad on the side. Wish I had known this as we ordered the house salad (same one as the side) to share. Our waiter didn't mention this even though he knew we were splitting the dishes. The enchilada was delicious and the chicken was very moist. It was quite filling as well. The salad had fresh lettuce and cucumbers with delicious dressing. However, i wish they added few more toppings. Overall little pricy but food was delicious.

Looks like they're closed/closing but we went here to see Afrojack and it's a pretty good venue…read more The AC was blasting in there and for once was tolerable! In terms of setup, I wish they had speaker in the back because otherwise it's surprisingly quiet and these EDM artists need the speakers bouncing. Would definitely come back again for a concert so hopefully they can remodel or do something to bring it back!

Super cool event on Valentine's Day with the Phx Warehouse Project and Relentless Beats called LaLa…read moreLand. The music was awesome and overall I had a great time, I would have given 5 stars if everything was cool, except not everything was cool. Main issue I have with the venue is lack of restrooms for that many people. There has to be more access to restrooms with people drinking and dancing and partying. The line for both inside and outside toilets was insane... I heard so many people commenting about the situation. Maybe next time, more porta potties outside so 1) there are more options and less lines, and 2) the ones that are available aren't so disgusting. I've used many porta johns at many festivals, for this size venue the 3 they had outside (without leaving the show) were gross. I literally could not touch anything in there. Just hover and pee. They had 2 more when you leave but there were no ins/outs so those weren't an option. This can be done better, I know cause I've been to places where taking care of peoples basic needs are more attended to. Anyway, otherwise great time. Music & sound were on point and the lasers were so cool. #ilovelazers

I recently attended a family wedding here. The entrance for the guests was on the side of the…read morebuilding into the backyard. The whole place was surrounded by greenery. There was also a koi pond. One area was just for the ceremony. Another area had tables set up for dinner. Inside, there was a room with a small cocktail bar with bartenders and charcuterie boards for cocktail hour. The connecting room had the dance floor, two long tables, a few small tabletops, and access to the bathrooms. The ceremony was difficult to hear, as there was no microphone or sound system. I think a mic is necessary, especially when there's a large crowd. The backyard looked nice at night with lights lit up all around. I did get bit by mosquitoes three times. It had been a rainy couple of days, so that made sense. They had cans of bug spray on the tabletops outside, which I didn't see until it was too late. Dinner was served buffet style, so every table took turns going inside to get food. Note on refrigerated items: The refrigerator on site is a standard top/bottom fridge. So I recommend asking about the dimensions ahead of time because we didn't have room for both the cakes and bottles of champagne.
