The waiting room cleanliness and atmosphere five stars. The nurse and front desk friendliness, professionalism, knowledge, and prompt request to my needs is five stars, ten if I could give it! I love her current nurse Melissa. She's very patient. She really has it tough dealing with pharmacies. I've witnessed it first hand. Doctor Tulpan has exhibited ongoing training, and modernization of her practice since I've been coming to her. She can focus on her specialty even more by affiliating with NYU Langone. NYU Langone takes all kinds of insurance. Some insurance companies are very difficult to deal with. NYU 'My Chart' offers on line access to your health records. It's a great system easily navigable. I get reminders by email of appointment dates and times. I can view my patient visit summary immediately after my appointment. My test results, family History, allergies and more are located in one file. You can screenshot insurance cards to enter them. I love the website. For all the forms required I'm provided with a iPad to read the forms and sign electronically. I can access everything I sign in my chart. So modern. I was also offered facial recognition and hand scan. I declined. I provided them with a photo ID for my file. In my opinion that's enough! I'm not one to go to the doctor for every little thing. It is obvious to me that Doctor Tulpan keeps up with the latest patient treatment in her field. I do know that she realizes I take my life and wellness serious. After all, you are putting your life in someone else's care when you go to the doctor. She understands we all have family and friends. They ask about our health and how our visit to the doctor went. It took me a few years to finally feel confident that she understands my health issues. At this point I would be devastated if she left Manhattan! I realize how many things are beyond the doctors control. Insurance rules, State, and Federal Legislation, and more, all complicate treatment plans and the progress of treatment services. She is open with me about her processes while providing my medical treatment. I appreciate that greatly. I've never received Lab results as quickly as I have since she has been using the latest equipment. She is the only doctor I have had in years that calls me herself to report my test results. I'm so happy when she leaves the info on my messages. It is hard to reconnect some times after the visit. Doctor Tulpan and her current location would receive 10 Stars from me if I could give them!

If I had been told what she was contemplating - a neck MRI - I would have had the ensuing argument right there in her office. When her employee called to advise that the insurance company had approved the MRI, I thought it was a mistake as I'd had one a month previously. I told the employee that I'd had a neck MRI already (ordered by a different doctor). I wasn't eager to have another one; it was stressful. She put Dr. Tulpan on and she gaslighted me. She told me I was "confused", that I hadn't had a neck MRI. You don't get confused about MRIs. They're pretty distinctive. Nothing else is an MRI. I was shocked that she didn't believe me. Turned out that the imaging center had only sent the radiology report to the neurologist who ordered the first MRI and Dr. Tulpan didn't have the report so she assumed I was "confused." I wouldn't see her again if she were the last doctor on the planet.

Phone:(212) 627-1222 When women choose a OB/GYN, they should be pretty picky, and I went to Dr. Simone for two years paying out of pocket (my insurance was not in her network) because frankly, she's worth the money. She does not overbook, which is almost a shame since the view from the waiting room window while you recline on the leather couch is gorgeous (Lower Manhattan south). Her receptionist, Yahira, is as amazing as the view. Also, she might be the most efficient and helfulp women I have literally encountered in all of medicine. Once in the office, you sit and talk to figure out your needs before there is any physical examination. She takes notes on what is going in your life to try to get a better idea of how any treatments can help or if you have any risk factors. While she can be a little bit invasive compared to other doctors, this will only be to your benefit. Frankly, I think it was the sheer lack of concern from my doctors in the past that left me so confused when she actually wanted to talk for 20 minutes before the physical. The physical is thorough and not at all awkward (as not awkward as an internal exam can be...). There is a fertility goddess decoration thing I could live without, but other than that, the exam rooms are pristine. Lastly, many women use their OB/GYN's as their primary physicians these days and recently she was indispensible to me in that regard. Basically, if you're new to town and/or tired of cold/creepy/impersonal doctors, I could not recommend her more.

When Dr. Styler came into the room I was just as pleased with her. She's extremely patient and takes her time explaining things as well as answering any questions. I never felt rushed or uncomfortable. She was amazing the whole time. Unfortunately the only downside to this office is that unlike my other GYN offices, they refer you out for ultrasounds and other work--however, I don't mind that at all because of the great service and care I got from everyone in the office. That being said I should have left her waaay before I did. I arrived at the office and waited about 15 minutes to see the doctor, well the nurse. I remember the experience vividly because the nurse told me to undress from the waist down then she gave me a sheet to cover myself with. It wasn't just any sheet, but a FITTED SHEET. I don't know how turned off I was about this, considering there are like a million flat sheets you can use if you don't want to put a smaller sheet over your patients, but people, it was a full size fitted sheet, gathered corners and all. I'd never seen anything like it. While I waited at least another ten minutes I could hear the doctor speaking to her patient in a room next door. I thought, well, the walls must be thin, because I heard just about everything she was saying...that is until she came in. She was friendly enough but also a very loud talker. I'm sure the walls weren't thin, it was just her voice projecting. She examined me and that was that. I didn't like the vibe, but was too busy to look for another doctor at the time. I went a few more times, once for a UTI and was treated like a refugee. I realized that if I don't have any signs of future life in my uterus she wants nothing to do with me. That feeling was very evident the other times I went, like gynecology was below her. After a few more visits I changed doctors and have been happier since ( although now I'm on the hunt again!).

Or not, whatever, congrats on your decisiveness, but that is definitely what I was thinking after bouncing from doctor to doctor for the past few years. I was worried that I might make the commitment and then regret it. I didn't understand how Dr. Cho could be that much better than other doctors. Oh my god that was stupid. Dr. Cho is SO much better than other doctors. She thinks, she asks great questions, she listens, she explains, she cares! Try to imagine a doctor who does all of that really well. Like, imagine just a really stand out ideal doctor, the doctor that you really hope you will meet if you go for One Medical group. Are you imagining? Good. That doctor you are imagining sucks compared to Dr. Cho. The difference is that Dr. Cho doesn't just care about her patients. She cares about her job. Deeply and to the point that it is obvious within minutes of meeting her (or I don't know, can someone fake that? I don't think so). So as a great doctor, with a team of great doctors around her, she probably has spent a lot of time, her life really, thinking about how to be the best doctor. Way more than you or I have spent. So she knows far more than we do about what a great doctor should do. That means that when you go to the office and see Dr. Cho there are so many things being done to make your visit go perfectly that you won't even notice or understand them all. You just have a great experience. Then, what, I guess you sit down and think about it and try to explain it on Yelp and realize that you are under-qualified to explain why the experience was so great but you really want other people to know. So... yeah, all of that. I guess its time for you to stop vacillating and make an appointment.
