Introduction: My girlfriend & I visited Toronto from the US in June 2025, and CN Tower was awesome! I just wrapped up an America 250 series of various American restaurants/businesses. From Odenton (Maryland) to Ontario now. 250 years since our Declaration of Independence in 1776 is a huge accomplishment; Canada will eventually get their 250 mark in 2117. While we have a lot to be proud of, but like any country, there's going to be some aspects that aren't so good. I don't like the bullying of Canada going on with Tariffs, talk of 51st state, & most recently President declaring Lake Ontario being Lake America. It's been known as Lake Ontario since 1639 (or earlier) when Ingenious tribe called this massive Great Lake this. US Google Maps are caving with Lake America, but I'll still call it Lake Ontario. Experience at CN Tower: Awesome views of Lake ONTARIO & Toronto skyline! It's a little expense, but when do you ever get to go to the tallest structure in the entire Western Hemisphere? We paid the extra for the very top section, which a smaller area an extra 100 meters higher up at 447 meters (1467'). But even if you go with the 346 meters option (1135'), it's still an awesome view, but we wanted the highest possible view. How this compares with other high structures I've been? There's 7 viewing platforms, which are above 250 meters in the US. I've been to 2 of them. The taller of the 2 is Hancock Tower in Chicago is 314 meters (1030') & the other was STRAT in Vegas is 265 meters (869'). Both of which are less even the main viewing platform at CN Tower. I could've gone up to the tallest in the US, the Willis Tower in Chicago, but I chose Hancock as I read better views of Lake Michigan & downtown skyline in general than from Willis, not to mention more expensive. My friend went to Willis as he wanted to go to the tallest possible. Willis is taller than CN Tower main viewing platform but still 35 meters short of the CN Tower Top platform. We got a lot of great pics of Lake Ontario, downtown Skyline, Rogers Centre, etc. We spent more time in the main viewing area, which was much larger area. There was also a glass platform on main level, you can look down the side of the tower itself all the way to the ground. I enjoyed that, but my girlfriend wanted nothing to do with that as it can be scary to be above open glass looking down. The Top section was even more outstanding views. But it was a smaller viewing platform, and it was kind of hot in that section. It's debatable if it's worth the extra money as the main platform was still outstanding. But why not go all the way to the top most, which really is the highest viewing platform in Western Hemisphere. Main platform is the still the 4th tallest (when not factoring Top platform) behind #1 Willis Tower in Chicago, #2 & 3 (World Trade Center & Empire State Building in New York). Just a sampling of my pics. Some show the Canadian wildfire smoke/haze was less than ideal, but still got a lot of great pics. In summary, this was an awesome highlight of our Toronto vacation.
Definitely worth it! The views are incredible. Saturdays are a busy day. Next available tickets were for hours later.
We went a little bit before sunset and it was INSANE. We had gotten tickets ahead of time and it still didn't help that much. The line to get in and go up was very very long and once we got up there, it was hot and suffocating with the amount of people they let in. The views were gorgeous once everyone started clearing out after sunset but if I had to do it over again, I would just go first thing in the morning on a random weekday.
Timed entry tickets are needed to get into CN Tower and we were able to get ours at the ticket booth. There was a decent line but it moved relatively quickly. Once we arrived at the top, we got some great views of the city since we went on a clear day. A fun touristy activity to do.
If you are in Toronto, the CN Tower is a mandatory stop. What stood out most was the organization despite the heavy crowd the staff kept everything moving smoothly. The staff: were very professional. They guide you throughout security efficiency and are happy to answer questions. Food: we tried to burgers and pizza at the casual eatery upstairs, and they exceeded our expectation for tourist food very flavorful. atmosphere: it's a photographer dream. Seeing everyone getting expired for their shot at to the creative live. Everyone is on their thing so there is no feeling intimidated on recording or snapping your pictures. Value: by using the city pass, we found the cost to be very reasonable for a family outing. The facility are clean and well maintained whether you are interested in the history of the structure or just want the best view of Canada, this place delivers 100%. Walking on the glass floor was the highlight of the day plus the fallen on the 45 angle degrees.
Just happened April 10th CN tower has a 50th years old anniversary in the tower and they host a disco in 70th theme. Fun in there. The view is amazing . I chose the time close to sunset so that I am able to view day time and night time view. I also went to the top which cost extra $12. It is higher and more cloud around when I went there. The view over there look downwards. Nothing more special if you want to save that money. It is fun and standing on the glass floor. I also did the edge walk. $199 plus tax including the tower walk and the top. There is video and 2 pictures provided. It was so much fun and the view is great. I have to follow the instructions to lean backwards and forward to the open edge. It is very safe with whole lots of safety measures.
I visited the CN Tower once as a kid but barely remembered it, so I figured it was time for a revisit now that I'm older and pass by it all the time. It's obviously a super cool experience. Standing on the famous glass floor and looking straight down is both awesome and a little terrifying. The views from up there are beautiful l, you can see so much of Toronto and the surrounding area. We also paid the extra $12 each to go all the way to the very top... it is insanely high up there. You really can see everything from that vantage point. It's definitely a pricey experience, but it's one of those things that's worth doing at least once in your life. The staff were also very friendly and helpful during our visit. Ok hear me out. Was this a cool place to go to? yeah it is a cool place to go to, however I have to give this 3 stars as it's quite pricey for what it is, and if you do the "all the way to the top experience" even more. If you are afraid of heights, this is really not for you, if you are wanting views of the city then that is exactly what you get. You are whisked up a super fast elevator to the first observatory area and can stay as long as you like, or so it feels. You are met with everyone taking selfies against the glass, so sometimes you may need to sneak your way in if you want some unobstructed viewing. The "all the way to the top" experience, you have to select your time, when you purchase the tickets. When your time is close you go to a designated area and go up another super fast elevator another 30 floors. Up some steps to the top observation deck. You truly feel the height at this point, and to be fair I thought the views were better from the lower observation deck, we did not need much time up here to look around. It did not help that I had just watched one of the Final Destination movies, with a tower that collapses, but other than those thoughts in the back of my head, everything was solid. For the price point, I wish that you got some history, or a mini 'tour' at the observation decks with facts etc. While they do have a storyboard on the wall at the first observation deck, it's not quite the same.
I went to CN Towel on a weekday morning, earliest available spot. It was peaceful and had most of the space for myself. It was really nice to watch the flights take off and land at the Billy Bishop airport near by. The revolving restaurant was closed when I went, due to a labor protest. So unfortunately missed dining there. The thing I truly loved about this tower was the glass bottom area where you see all the way below. I went to Burj Khalifa as well but since Burj Khalifa floor space is occupied by other business, you dont get to see the bottom like we do here at CN. If you are hungry for a quick bite or a light lunch, try George's hot dogs ( a street cart in front of the tower), it is amazing.
Wish there is more to the CN Tower. Even the staff that sell the tickets really didn't "sell" the Tower. No interesting signage, there were monitors in a room but nothing was streaming to share anything special about the tower. Even the staff operating the elevators didn't say anything about the view, the height of the Tower, anything! When you get to the top the kiosk serving coffee wasn't even open; it would have been a much welcome thing to have hot beverages on a cold day. The only thing commendable is when I left my bucket hat, it was quickly returned to security and I was able to retrieve it.
Toronto's CN Tower was very, very, very, very, very, very tall, and it was my idea to visit during our cross-country trip. Unfortunately, once we got to the tower, the weather was in a terrible condition and it soon started to rain, causing fog to cover most of the city. Luckily, we still had a chance to get a nice view.
Definitely recommend getting tickets online instead of waiting in line, I bought them on my phone for the selected time slot just outside the entrance and went in easily. You first scan your ticket for the waiting room, which is a nice little exhibit on the history of the tower, then when it's time for your slot, you're allowed entry into the elevator. I went just after the sun went down, and the views at night were stunning! Once you get to the top, you're free to roam, take pictures, and stay as long as you like. Don't forget the lower level included with general admission. The lower level does have an outer deck, but the high barrier keeps the cold out pretty well despite it being 40°F outside. The glass floora are only a small section, but still fun if brave enough to stand on them. There were 2 restaurants on the general admissionTicket price is relative compared to other city towers. There are two restaurants serving cocktails, wine, and beer on the GA level. Then there is the 360 restaurant you need reservations for. Had a fun time and enjoyed it here, though I've seen more offered at other attractions like this. Still recommend while in Toronto.
We had an amazing view from 1810 feet high in the sky on our short day trip visit to downtown Toronto, Canada. We were told multiple times the CN Tower was a must see and it did not disappoint. This view was absolutely stunning and it provided for a very nice afternoon. Unfortunately, there was a field trip or multiple taking place that day (4/29/26) so there were multiple middle school age students running around, yelling, jumping on the glass bottom floor sections, etc. this made it a bit disturbing and not quite as romantic or peaceful, but we embraced the view as much as possible. We definitely would've stayed for cocktails and lunch, but decided to go elsewhere since the students were running around what appeared to be unsupervised.

This experience was great while it lasted. This was my second time visiting and the views were amazing! I enjoyed a mimosa at the cafe area as I waited for my nephew to be done with the sky walk. We had a great time from the start of our tour until about the gift shop area. When we got to the photo section which you could choose to purchase your photos or not we were met with attitude and discrimination. The customer service was horrendous and the "manager" Isabell or Isabella called security on me because I complained about the discrimination and the attitude that her colleague provided to us because she thought we took a photo of the photo we were ready to purchase. I did not proceed with purchasing the photo because of the poor customer service and because of the discrimination. It was very unfortunate to have had experienced this kind of service after having spent so much money and having a great time at the top of the tower. The employees need to be trained on providing white glove service especially as this is a number 1 tourist spot. Absolutely disappointing and disgusting! The lady in the photo was our first encounter of complete rudeness and unprofessionalism. She refused to give me her name when I asked for it and proceeded with calling the "manager" who then called security. As you can see in the photo her body language says it all! read more

We had a great time visiting the CN Tower and checking out all the city views from up top. It was a very enjoyable experience and definitely recommend everyone to do that once. read more
Beautiful view and nice place for photo opportunities! The line wasn't long and we got out tickets and was up the tower in less than 15 minutes. We chose not to eat at the restaurant but the menu was impressive a little on the pricey side but I'm guessing it's due to the attraction and view. read more

I'm actually torn about what should be a proper rating on this one. The CN Tower itself is something you should definitely see. It's a tourist-must. The views are astounding from the top. But the utter crap you go through to get up there is ridiculous. They charge you an arm and a leg to get in. You stand in a long line. You go through a full body machine as if you're in an airport. You then wait in another line for the elevator. At the end, you pop out at a gift shop, which may have been the most expensive gift shop I encountered during my time in Canada... and, trust me, I visited many gift shops. But hey, I guess all that is to be expected at an attraction that people travel across continents to visit. So in all: I give four stars. Mostly for the views of Lake Ontario and Canada's largest city. That's what makes it worth the hassle, after all. read more
I am giving this restaurant four stars due to the fact my friends salmon had no flavor however we were upgraded to a better table right next to the window. My prime rib steak was awesome . It came with asparagus and mashed potatoes . And we also tried the coast to coast shrimp pasta. Good food and great views from the six. The staff was friendly the restrooms were clean and the atmosphere was nice. Something you have to try at least once! Thanks Muhammad! Enjoyed the service! read more
Pricy but a must do when visiting the city. Its just one of those things to check off a bucket list and you only ever have to come once. I got general admission plus the skypod visit, highest point in all of the Americas and the view is something to awe about. On a beautiful sunny day, this is the nicest side of Toronto you'll ever see. Like others have commented on, I too thought the glass floor would have have covered a larger section but it was still fun to peek down and despite not being afraid of heights, it did make me a little dizzy. Didn't get to try the restaurant but I can see that this would make a great date and unique experience. read more
One of the seven modern wonders of the world for a reason. The CN Tower is a spectacle to behold. This thing is ENORMOUS, and they light it up at night in a beautiful display of colors and patterns. The Mrs and I just came back from Toronto and our hotel was literally walking distance from the CN Tower. We had dinner at the 360 Restaurant and enjoyed our night. There is a quick security check in, then an ear popping ride up in the glass elevators to the restaurant. The view from the restaurant is truly breathtaking. The restaurant itself spins so that you get to take in the whole view over the course of your meal. Your meal, by the way, will break your bank. I justified it by saying that I paid for the experience, but that experience cost us $225 for the 4 course prix fixe (with a souvenir glass). With the purchase of the prix fixe you get access to the observation deck (which we didn't need, since its actually below our view from the restaurant, and also blocked by a security wire mesh) and the glass floor room. It is a bit freaky to stand on the floor and look down at the amazing death you would experience should the floor give out. There were people who would NOT walk on the glass floor, which I found amusing. Theres even an option to walk on the OUTSIDE of the tower, and to lean back while tethered. The Mrs was having NONE of that noise, so I didn't get to experience it. A negative about the tower is that it was PAAAAAAAAAAAAAACKED. We were able to avoid the masses on the way UP because of our dinner reservation, but after dinner, we were put back into the crowd and things slowed down considerably. There was barely enough room to maneuver on the glass floor, and the wait for the elevator down bordered on ridiculous. Still, if you EVER get the chance, I highly recommend the CN Tower, and just Toronto in general, as it is a fantastic city. read more

Outstanding view of Toronto! Yes, you pay a hefty admission fee of $35 per adult (kids at $25) for the privilege of a 1 min. elevator ride up and down, but the commanding vista is superb. Be sure to pick a sunny day to enjoy a bird's eye view of the sprawl of metropolitan Toronto and tall buildings (casinos) of Niagara Falls that are visible across Lake Ontario. Walking outside on the observation deck was fun, but it was a bit windy. Our family arrived on a sunny August morning (10:00am) and managed to avoid long lines. It's best to avoid the afternoon (12pm-6pm) unless you enjoy testing your patience. The elevator ride was breathtakingly fast. My two sons (10 yrs, 8 yrs) enjoyed the ride and views. I would recommend the CN Tower as one of the first sights to visit if you're new to Toronto because it gives you a superb overview of the entire region. Based on Yelp reviews, I did not pay the extra $12 to go to the upper platform. However, if you plan to visit at least 3 of 5 sights included with the Toronto CityPass ($67 per adult, $41 per child), I think it's worth investing in the CityPass (which we purchased at the CN Tower). The glass floor experience is nerve-wracking, but fun. Overall, I would recommend the CN Tower as a "must-do" sight for Toronto visitors (weather permitting) despite the hefty price tag. read more
Came here with a city pass. We went early to avoid the crowd since I've previously read that it can get crowded and have long lines, so we went just a little past opening time. No one was in the queue and we went right up. From the viewing part of the tower, it was incredible. We went on a gloomy day but the views still didn't disappoint. It's a good place to take pictures. There's also employees standing around that you can ask to take a photo of you and your party. You can stay for as long as you like. There is a concession stand and a fine dining restaurant up there. You can pay extra to go higher on a different viewing deck. I plan on coming back in the next few months to do the edge walk experience where you literally walk on the outside of the tower. read more

The Cn tower is great. Great views of the city. The elevator ride is probably the best There is also a local gift shop that has amazing sweaters, puzzles, keychains, pjs, just about everything. Definitely worth visiting the third tallest building in the world read more
Taste: 3 Service: 4 Value: 5 Presentation: 3 Overall: 4.3 rounded down to 4 Hi and welcome to another episode of javing it with Javier. Let's see what we are javing today. For my girlfriend's birthday, I decided to take her to the 360 restaurant at the CN tower. She's been wanting to go to the CN tower so I was sure she would love this! I reserved a table a month in advance to make sure I would get the perfect timing. 6:45pm meant that we would see the city while it's still bright, see then sunset, and then get to see the night views #planning. There were a lot of fish options but I had to give their steak a try. My girlfriend however got lobster bisque and lobster pasta. The steak itself was not great, but it wasn't terrible either. I wouldn't recommend getting it. I am not a fan of seafood (including lobster); I know I know but to be fair I like sushi so please forgive me? :) Anyway...the lobster bisque was surprisingly good and the pasta was pretty good as well. We got a drinks that come with CN tower glasses but the server wasn't particularly gentle with them. Fortunately they were fine and they even gave us a fancy paper bag to carry them in. I honestly am not a huge fan of these tall night city views. I see them every time I travel and everything is dark so I can't tell the difference. If you don't believe me I'll show you a night view picture and you have to guess which city I took it in. My girlfriend however was so happy and fascinated with the views. I got extra points so that's always a good thing for me right? The price point of the food was quite steep. Expect to spend 200+ for a meal there. After the meal you do get to see the other floors non restaurant goers see. Those tickets are 40 dollars so it's pretty worth to also have a meal there. In conclusion, if you like city views or have not visited the CN tower, eating at the 360 restaurant is a good experience. And that's it for today's episode of javing it with Javier. And remember food is life! read more
We took our kids to CN Tower and it was an amazing experience for them. The kids enjoyed the elevators up and down which is a spectacular experience even for the adults where we've been before. The glass floor was fun despite one saying he's scare of heights. But overall, we enjoyed the glass floor and the lookout level. However we went after dinner so the view was already dark and not quite as breath taking as if it would be during the daytime. We also went on the outdoor terrance which was great, but again it's already dark so the view wasn't great however the citylights still made it spectacular. Just a note, we went on July 1st and the views from the CN Tower for fireworks are not too great. We were too high up and the fireworks are quite small. In addition, there were much happening this year in terms of fireworks from CN Tower or Harbourfront. But overall, definitely a great experience. Our kids asks to go back again the next day. read more
Typical tourist must see and I'm glad we went. We actually came here on Saturday but gave up since wait was too long(like 2h) but came back on Sunday and the wait was about 30min which wasn't too bad. I suggest you come here on week day or early morning(8-10) on weekend if you would like to avoid the line. We got Toronto city pass so didn't pay individual ticket and I would recommend getting this pass if you are staying in Toronto for more than 2 days cuz individual ticket can be pricey. I loved clear floor where you can see down all the way to the ground and they actually have outside observation deck. You can also have snacks and drinks on inside observation deck floor which was pretty cool. If I would come back, I would like to come for restaurant. They seem to have nice option with amazing view. read more
Great attraction and a must not just for tourists but for locals too...with Torontos every changing landscape (more and more condos) the view changes haha. The views though are amazing and something to be seen both in the day time and at night, the only criticism is that glass floor could do with being updated more often as ofcourse with people walking over it in time it looses the impact of seeing down clearly. read more
Expensiveeeeee... but the views are worth it! We contemplated buying tickets solely for the tower. However, this was a better deal. The food was delectable. We were able to check out the tourist floors as well. The only downfall for me was the limited selections of desserts. Wish there were more. read more

I learned a good trick. Get a City Pass online before you go. It makes you VIP and still at a discount. My booklet said get there before 11 to avoid waits. At 1000 I arrived. Skipped all the lines and was on top by 1005. Heights are frightening but this was way cool. The views were amazing. I even went to the level where it is basically a screened porch at a ton of meters up. read more

As far as viewing towers go this one did its job. It was expensive but informative and fun. The glass floor was an experience as well. read more
How is this not the number 1 attraction listed? I am a bit perplexed how the gardens and a museum are over the CN tower. I have never heard of anyone coming to Toronto and not seeing the CN tower. It is absolutely incredible and since Toronto isn't as touristy as a place like Dubai, you can really enjoy it and take it all in in the square at the base of the tower. I can't remember how much it costs to go to the top, we ended up passing on it because I was afraid of being stuck in the lift, lol. Check it out, though! read more

If you're a tourist in toronto, the CN tower is sort of a staple but there's way more interesting landmarks to check out, like Kensington Market or St Lawerence Market. But, if you want a cool photo of a cool building, or your feet through the glass floor, check out the CN tower. Admission is expensive and you usually need to wait a bit before going on the elevator. If you don't like heights, this definitely isn't the attraction for you. They also have a restaurant that's expensive but the food is decent. Long story short - you have better Toronto options to check out over thin CN Tower, but it is a classic Toronto bucket list attraction. read more

I visited here with my boyfriend using the city pass. This is the iconic tall building in Toronto. We came in the early morning around 9am. If you want to avoid the crowd, please come early. Theres two floors for regular observation. The glasses were big and clear. The views were great. Too bad it was a gloomy day. There's also a gift shop at the end of the tour. I think the whole experience was okay... it wasn't the best. If you have the city pass you should come and get your money worth, if not I think you can pass it. read more
First make sure to purchase a ticket online to avoid waiting for the ticket lines. These lines were so freaking long. Not many people know about purchasing online so take advantage of it. If you do, then you skip the ticket line and head straight to the actual CN tower line. The actual line was long afff too. We waited about 1.5 hours on mid afternoon on a Sunday. During our wait they did have a performer that was doing entertaining acts to keep us well, entertained while we waited. So kudos on that! Needless to say but there was an insane amount of people. After getting to the top of the tower, the view was amazing. You could see everything in Toronto, the surrounding cities, and nearby islands. Amazing but pretty much what you would expect. There wasn't anything too special about it. The top had gift shops, restaurants, and tables to eat at. Also, there was a space where you could stand on glass and get a true top down view of below. It was pretty cool and it made me queasy. Being outside and enjoying a fenced view of the top of the city was pretty cool. Especially the high altitudes of wind blowing. Make sure to not drop anything! It was hard to take beautiful pictures because it was just too crowded. Someone's bound to disrupt the photo taking experience. read more

Outrageously expensive experience that was definitely not worth a penny. If you had ever visited any tower in NY, Chicago or another country please don't waste your money and better treat yourself to a nice dinner in any awesome place of Toronto. We were absolutely disappointed and wish we never went there. A lot of space was under construction and the view wasn't that great. We bought it in a package with aquarium. The last one we absolutely AMAZING! It's checked marked on our bucket list and that's the only positive part ab it. read more

Yes, another tourist destination, but I took full advantage of all my fellow yelpers' advice: ~ For starters, we did the 360 Restaurant and basically got a ride to the top for free. Granted we spent about $208cad for lunch (for two), but it was worth just eating there. ~ Expensive, YES, but the food was good! And we just came here on a weekday for lunch. No issues getting a reservation, as weekends and dinner time tend to be long waits. And we just settled on eating in the inner dining tables versus the more romantic outer dining tables. Still plenty of photo opps! ~ Once leaving the restaurant, you'll have access to all the observation areas/levels except the SkyPod. As other yelpers mentioned, the SkyPod isn't really that much of a difference nor really worth it. I didn't do it. Nor did I care about the SkyWalk. ~ The Glass Floor is really cool to check out, if there aren't twenty million kids jumping on it testing the 2 1/2 inch thickness of the glass. There's only one side that has this and everyone basically crowds around it to get a pic. Ugggh! ~ Speaking of crowds, come here within the last hour of any day and you'll enjoy more because it's less tourista trafficy. ~ Surrounding the Glass Floor level is access to outside viewing area. Bring a jacket, as it can get pretty damn windy up here! And there's only one door open for wheelchair access. I'm not sure why they locked up the other three entrances. Probably due to high winds. But I even witnessed some bonehead trying to shove his mom in a wheelchair through a revolving door. Didn't fit, can you let me through please! Nothing against handicapped people, but I assume there are reasons why the other doors were locked. ~ Overall, I ignored the crowd like they weren't there, and just soaked in the views! Or enjoy lunch up at the restaurant and you won't deal with this crowd so much. Dead Poets Society (1989) [Keating stands on his desk] John Keating: Why do I stand up here? Anybody? 2200th Review CN Tower is Toronto's ultimate urban adventure and the wait time is only rivaled by the Toronto traffic on any given day. I've visited Toronto many times and visiting the CN Tower has always been a bucket list item for me. So when I planned my most recent trip here there was no doubt I would work this into my itinerary. Regardless of what you may read the wait times can be extreme - that is unless you're willing to spend a little cash and being an American in Canada everything is a bargain and if it's possible and it is to knock off approximately 2.5 hours off the wait to get inside the lobby time sign me up. Yes it's possible and it's absolutely worth the price of admission - for only $89 CAD ($70.80 USD) per person you can purchase the "Front of the Line Experience" also known as the "Premier Experience" this much sought after ticket can only be purchase the day of your visit and is sold in limited quantities, it includes access to The Lookout Level - The Glass Floor Level and The SkyPod levels along with some other perks. There is no need to wait in the outside line to purchase this ticket - tell the attendant at the entrance you are purchasing the Premier Experience and they physically walk you through the entire process with no waiting to get to the ticket booth. Once we purchased the two VIP Passes we were greeted by a CN Tower Associate and were taken directly to the elevator through the VIP entrance and boarded the elevator with absolutely no waiting, we were literally on our way to the top within 10 minutes after walking up to the entrances where hundreds of people were standing in the sun waiting to get into the first waiting area to purchase tickets. We started at the SkyPod Level the highest public access level which is approx 33 stories above the LookOut Level only the antenna is higher, it's small but absolutely the most amazing view possible - breathtaking is an understatement. Wearing the VIP pass around your neck has its advantages, everywhere we went in the Tower we were escorted to the front of the line no waiting on any of the levels or for any of the elevators. I won't get into the details of the view because I could not do them justice and there really not much that hasn't already been said. This is a must see attraction and the Premier Pass is the only way to go we did in a few hours what most spend a half day doing... read more
It is a must see for everyone who lives in Canada or North America, and certainly one of the first spot any tourist coming to Toronto must visit. Beautiful views when you get to the top, good restaurants to dine and or grab a quick snack.. But that lineup and weight from the main gate downstairs all the way to the top, makes you regret coming there and definitely rethink three times before visiting again! It just felt pointless at some point, and seriously thought off turning back and leave, it gets that bad! However, when you are up there, it's nothing but positive things. Recommendation: 360 restaurant is a must try for the full cool experience read more
When a tourist in Toronto, one must visit the CN Tower if only for the views of the city and the lake. Cost $38 CDN. The elevator ride is 52 secs and features a view plus a partially glass floor. The elevator takes your to the main viewing floors which have section that is a glass floor, which you can see all the way down to the Ripley's aquarium , if there aren't a 100 people trying to do the same thing. The outdoor observation area is on the lower level surrounded by a fence, so you can throw things off the tower. The next level has a couple of bars where you can get a drink and a snack. Or you can enjoy a meal in the 360 restaurant(we did not). We enjoyed a Tower Lager & wine (from the world's highest wine cellar) while watching the World Cup and enjoying the amazing views on a pretty day. We did not do the Edge walk which is an extra cost. You need a timed ticket to get to the higher observation location. You get the timed ticketed when you get up to the main observation platform. All tours end in the gift shop naturally. read more
CN tower was our last stop of the day. It was about mid afternoon when we got out of Ripley's Aquarium and walked next door to the tower lobby. Bought city pass for daughter and I, a must even on a cold April day and there's a long line at every tourist destination around the city. You get admissions to five attractions including Toronto Zoo for a set price. The elevator ride to the top takes less than a minute and the operator gives you a brief history of the building. There's two observation levels, sky terrace and glass floors which the kids loved running around completely fearless from height. If you get hungry there's casual dining and the upscale 360 restaurant. We didn't get to dine at either restaurants due to time constraints. Although it was a breeze going up using the pass, there was definitely a line taking the elevator down. Expect to wait 5-10 minutes. read more
Review time kids! The ever so lovely bride and I are in Toronto for our anniversary and this is where the big dinner was chosen! Ambiance is touristy but cool. The rotating floor ensures a new view every few minutes. We really liked how clean it was!! Being a tourist destination, this place was very busy. Not to worry though they had plenty of staff and the service was great!! On to the food! The bride had lobster and fillet that was quote"amazing!". I had the duck that was also excellent! Pro tip: make sure the second mortgage paperwork is done, this place is pricey!!! read more
Me and my family really enjoyed my visit to the CN Tower. It's definitely one of the tallest towers I have ever been in. Toronto is a very clean and gorgeous city with even more beautiful skyscrapers so the view was absolutely breathtaking. You could be standing in any spot in the tower and still see some awesome buildings. My favorite part was probably the see-through glass floors that you can step on, sit down, or lay. You get to see how high you actually are and that's both scary and awesome! The only regret I do have is that I didn't go later in the day while the sun was setting because I'm sure it would've been quite some image. When you leave the elevators and go into the gift shop there are some cute little statues of bears and a moose you can take pics with. read more
