We visited CMX Wellington to watch the **Dogman** movie at 4:30 PM and purchased five tickets. When three of us arrived, no one checked our tickets at the entrance, which was a bit surprising. My husband and son came about 15 minutes later and he said someone finally was standing there and checked the tickets. Before heading in, I bought two kids' meals that included a bag of popcorn, a slushie, and a fruit snack--the kids loved them! For myself, I got a hot dog with fries, which came out fresh and hot. The theater was clean, and the movie itself was fantastic. Overall, it was a great experience, though better ticket checking would have made it feel more organized. read more

In the beginning this movie theatre was great. It was clean, maintained etc. it's gone down hill as the months roll on. The bathrooms are disgusting, the "smaller" theatres smell, the floors are sticky, and the seats are ripped/not working but yet don't tell you it doesn't work when you buy them. In the bathroom only one faucet was working and one mirror was missing. 2/3 of the butter dispensers are out of order. First time here seeing a movie. We didn't find the movie theater entrance easily and ended up walking over from the food court. The auditorium was clean, and the reclining chairs are super comfortable. I find the table gets in the way, but I also wasn't eating anything. My only issue was the bathroom. One stall was a missing toilet seat. Two other stalls' seats were peeling. Two of the sinks weren't working. And one of the soap dispensers was empty. The bathroom itself was clean though. read more

I'm not sure what happened to this theater, but it is beyond disgusting. Theater 7 smells like someone left a dirty diaper under a seat. There are stains all over the carpets, the bathrooms are filthy. The handicap bathroom smelled so horrible that I couldn't walk inside.the walls are covered in stains. The movie is played at such a low volume, it's hard to hear, especially with the young girls screaming and laughing nonstop. Garbage cans are overflowing. Absolutely horrible experience. read more

DO NOT GIVE THIS THEATER YOUR MONEY. This theater is utterly revolting. It appears as though it has never, ever been cleaned. The seats are broken, the leather is cracked, and there was food lodged in the leg rests. I felt like I needed a shower and a tetanus shot after the movie just thinking about how filthy the seat I was sitting in was. The carpet leading to the theaters once had color-coded lines directing patrons to each specific theater. The intention was presumably for the ticket checker to say, "follow the blue line" or whichever color corresponded. However, they can't do that anymore because the lines have faded into varying shades of gray. Gum is smeared all over the floor and the carpet. In the men's room, two urinals were out of order with trash bags taped over them using, unbelievably, scotch tape. There was also a stall out of order, an entire mirror missing, revealing a gaping hole in the wall, and spitballs stuck to the ceiling. I have seen highway rest stop bathrooms that are cleaner than this. It's a mystery how such neglect is even possible. The tickets are not cheap, and the theater is located in a high-end mall in an affluent area. The only reason I came to this location was because I had a coupon. I understand that theaters are struggling financially, but I saw plenty of employees standing around doing nothing. Spend a little money and rent a carpet cleaner, and have someone with some level of authority ensure that the theaters are actually cleaned. If you read other reviews of this theater, it's obvious that this has been an ongoing issue for quite some time. Looking at pictures from posts years ago, I see the exact same stains on the floors. It is incredibly disheartening when the only responses these posts get are, "please give us another try," when it's clear that NOTHING has changed. read more

Worst movie theatre I've been to. Dirty, crappy popcorn. Seats recline and made so much noise throughout the movie all you hear are people adjusting their seats it's so annoying. I came to see new release of fantastic 4 and the projector was completely off, heads were cut off, unable to see subtitles and pixely. This theater is awesome. Sure, it may not have standees and banners like usual theaters, but the cleanliness of the theaters makes up for it. This place is located right inside of a mall, so there is a lot to do while you wait for your movie, I don't really think it needs any 'video game section' or anything. The food is regular theater prices, nothing really new and the food is not bad. Super comfy chairs, only thing I do agree with other reviews on here is that you do have to look up no matter what seat you are at, but reclining helps it a wee bit, all in all, awesome. Good place to go with a group of friends after the mall. I will admit that the floors need attention ASAP and the bathrooms need more tending to. Everytime I go it's a mess. read more

I like that this movie theater is conveniently located inside the Wellington Mall. My first time going was around when they first opened. I liked the concept of the colored lines on the ground that lead you to your movie because i had never seen that before. Every time I've went it's been fairly Clean and the lines at the concession are never that long because they have so many people working there. Although the tickets can be pricey, I appreciate the spacious recliners. I've never actually dined at the connected restaurant but I'm open to checking it out next time I go! read more

I watched the Minecraft movie, and during every occasional parts, including the beginning and ending of the film, most people were out of control applauding and yelling which forced me to cover my ears and shush at them. This place has gone downhill rapidly. Everywhere you look there's a mess. Nothing is being cleaned, water dripping from the ceiling into buckets. Popcorn in all the hallways, trash cans overflowing. . The popcorn was awful, it was burned. I paid $18 for an adult ticket and the seat I reserved was broken, didn't recline all the way because the foot rest was busted. This movie theatre used to be great and has seriously gone downhill. It is so dirty I had to take photos. I saw one poor employee carrying a little dust pan and brush in the midst of all of this filth. She said they are not allowed vacuumed.....not only dirty but the girl sitting next to me took a phone call in the middle of the movie on speaker phone! It felt unsafe and unpleasant. Do not go. Dirty, without air conditioner, management that literally does nothing but looking at the workers cleaning popcorn from the floor. When I asked why they selling tickets for movies that are play in unconditioned auditorium, they told me because corporate told them to do so. Don't recommend coming to this movie theatre due to the fact that is filled with teenagers messing around and giggling and laughing while the movie is playing i recorded a video of some kids playing ringtones causing a disturbance and had one of them throw a drink at me for no reason when nothing was said to them. read more

This theater was AWFUL! The bathrooms were dirty and looked like they hadn't been cleaned in days! The hallway floors were filthy and there was popcorn everywhere! The food station area looked unsanitary! I can't believe I still decided to proceed with seeing my movie. I come to this theater often but im stopping after what happened Saturday night to me and my boyfriend. I ordered nachos and churros which u have to wait for by the kitchen with the receipt. There were so many orders that the cook confidently made me give away my nachos i paid for to another customer than delayed my order once again. The cook was so sure i didn't order my nachos when my bank statement showed i did. I paid for the 4:40 showing of Bad Boys in theater number 9. My son and I went in Father's Day. The kid behind the food counter was rude and short with the Spanish family in front of us and then short with me. The butter area was atrocious. Only 1 was working and it looked like it hadn't been cleaned for days. The move didn't start until 7:05 and there weee no previews. I expected a lot more in Wellington. Even though this theater is a little further away for me, my son and I enjoyed watching the summer movie they offered last summer. I came here again for discount Tuesday movie night, which the tickets are 5 bucks a piece. It's pretty nice and the chairs actually recline. Not to mention that they are comfortable enough to sleep in. There is assigned seating and more room to get cozy. I seen people brought their blankets and made themselves at home while watching the big screen. They have plenty of options at the concession stand that offers food and beverages to enjoy too. It's located inside the Wellington Green mall, so you can stretch your legs out and go walking or shopping inside the mall if you want before hitting the big screen. There is also a restaurant called Cask and Shaker connected to the movie theater you can get a bite at before or after the movie as well. read more

CMX Cinemas is the same cinema, which was known as Paragon theaters in Wellington Mall. We go here at least once a month to watch movies. It's in a nice location since one can walk around the mall for a few minutes before movie watching. They tend to get pretty packed on the weekend, and the bathrooms are busy and sometimes not well maintained. Other than that negative, this movie cinema is pretty great. They have recliner seats in every theater room. The seat rows elevate as each row is further from the previous one. This makes every row great to watch a movie at. We are not big on cinema food options, so we tend to eat at restaurants near before the movie time. Side Note- Tuesdays are the cheap movie night at $6. There are multiple self kiosks to buy movies and pick seats. read more

Cool movie theatre!!!! I went recently during a week day to watch a movie. I prefer this cinema since it's conveniently located within the mall, and it's fairly new. During the week days, it isn't too crowded but be aware that it is summer break. You'll see lots of teenagers but overall it isn't bad it watch a quick movie. Food prices are extremely high, but it's not different from any other cinema prices. I definitely would recommend going during the early afternoon during the week. read more

While visiting Wellington, we went to see two movies here. The theater was set at a great temp, seats were comfortable, and the prices were reasonable compared to other cinemas. I really enjoyed the free refill station for the drinks. Only complaint was the location and size of the bathrooms and the commercials played on loop in the bathrooms. If I'm in town and want to see a movie, I would defintely go back. read more

This place used to be called Paragon Movie theaters. They were only in business several months before CMX bought them out. I loved buying my tickets online and picking out my seats so we could just walk right in. But now CMX charges a $2.50 "booking fee" for ordering our tickets in advance!! Are you CRAZY? Well you lost a customer. I refuse to pay more money to do things in advance, not to mention it will keep the lines shorter and save money on staffing. Doesn't matter that the seats were comfortable, other movie seats are comfortable as well. We were going to the movies at LEAST once a week, sometimes twice. We haven't been back since CMX took over and added on $2.50 booking fee. Good luck! read more
