They came out, fixed the problem, and didn't even charge since it was such a small job! Also, for another roofing issue, many roofers reviewed it and said (dishonestly) that there were problems that needed extensive repairs. But the Peak and Valley crew were honest and showed there was no damage. The leak I noticed came from an ice dam. They could have easily lied to try and make a profit. But they didn't. And that integrity matters, especially in the roofing business.

They did not account for the 3-story height of the home as they threw shingles off and they landed on my newly powder coated (offsite) front steps all the way to my front door, and on a brand new deck and new patio table and chairs. I'm writing today because I noticed my painted metal patio table and chairs that were all scratched as a result of flying metal and shingles (as was my newly painted front railing) are showing premature wear as a result. My sandstone steps also had black marks from landing shingles. When I spoke to them about all the debris and damage they all but suggested it wasn't their fault. They asked me to email photos which I did and never heard back. I was too upset to pursue any further action at the time. One thing they did do was show up the next day unannounced and started sanding the black marks off my front sandstone steps. When you see the photos keep in mind they were working next door not at my home!!

It began to literally spring random holes within the first several weeks and then these weird micro cracks and weird look especially when wet. Then after the first very first winter it began to literally crumble. You can just sweep away bits of the driveway. He never responded to any phone calls or emails. Not to mention left the worst mess of concrete splashed onto my garage eves and the sides of my house. Plus, when he was restaining my cement patio also stained the side of my garage with it. The best part was that a fight nearly broke out on the pour day over not enough water in the truck. Which I have come to find out that is why my driveway looks like shit. The mixture was too dry which caused it to dry too quickly and be too brittle. I don't understand why you would continue to pour knowing the mixture was bad. Just a terrible person and company. I spent way too much money to be so disappointed. Also, they were supposed to remove old gate posts during the process because a new one was going in but they decided they couldn't get one of them out so they just re cemented it in with the new driveway. So then when the fence company came out they had to cut into my brand new driveway to remove the post. To place a new, larger post. Not their fault. Should have been removed with the driveway. Please do not hire Michael Saunders. This driveway was done in June 2023. Only 2.5 years old and I was meticulous about the care of it since I saved for a long time to replace my old one.

The team was so friendly and professional, and they get bonus points for being extra nice to my dog (they made her day). All that and they managed to stay in budget, and left the entire property spotless. You don't get that sort of performance without a great leader, so extra points for Eric and his management of both the work getting done and the clients. When I complimented him on this, he gave all the credit to the great crew, which is just another sign that he's a good leader. I was so nervous because I've heard so many roofer horror stories, but my experience is that there is at least one great one out there (Benedict).
