I've been insured with Allstate for the past 3 years or so. All this time they've been great…read more I always paid my bills on time. I always made sure to send in any paperwork that was needed. I have NEVER had an issue with them... And this week I learned something else about this company.... THEY. AINT. SHIT. If you get into an accident, just know you are on your own and entirely fucked. They seemed great until they allowed the vehicle to sit in the tow lot and accrue nearly $1,000 in storage fees without anyone going to look at the vehicle. The lot it was sent to had my car and wouldn't release it to the shop I originally wanted it to go to. No one called to ask me to release the car. I was sent a Lien to my house telling me to pay the bill. To top it off they set up a rental for me for the claim. I asked to cancel my policy for the month of September considering the fact that I had no car to renew it for since my car was a total loss. Allstate then proceeded to cancel the policy out that I was using for insurance of the rental they set up. In turn leaving me driving an uninsured rental vehicle!! Leaving me to have to pay for insurance for the remainder of my days using the rental out of pocket! I was never told canceling my policy would cause the rental to not be insured as well. This could have not only caused problems if I had been pulled over but God forbid had I been in an accident could have financially ruined me entirely. You put your trust in an insurance company to protect you when times like this arise. They are the licensed professionals and it is irresponsible and damn near unethical to NOT counsel a policyholder to make the right decisions in these difficult times!!! Especially if this is your first accident and you have never been through this before. I have lost all trust and faith is this company and caution everyone... make sure you get a second opinion because this company could have left me in shambles had this not been caught. I advise you all to really think twice before dealing with Allstate. You feel as though "you're in good hands" but trust me.. jokes on you!

I walked into this office excited because the agent I've been working with has been SO helpful and had my expectations set so high... I walk into this office and the girl on the far right of the office was the only one working. She upped my rate from what I was quoted $209/m to $243/m... she needed some proof of oil changes. I asked if we can keep it where the agent had it and I can provide proof by end of next week because I'm from north county... she SO RUDELY goes "NO" and smacks her hand on the table... it was as if she didn't want the business AT ALL... I've never felt so unwanted in an insurance office... thanks for making Allstate look bad... sad to have people like her representing such a good name company.

Immediately she gave me a quote gave me different options and gave me the lowest rate for my brand new car.
