I was looking for a smaller company to diagnose my central air issue. My experience with larger…read moreoperations is they charge way more to pay for all that overhead with their fleet of fancy trucks. I also liked the fact Anthony didn't have any of those scam maintenance contracts that the bigger guys try to intimidate you into signing. If they try to pull that crap, run. My father was in the trades and working with him when I was younger gave me a good BS detector. That said, I called Anthony, left a message and he got back to me within 15 minutes. Super honest nice guy. I explained my issue and he explained that he can fix central air units but doesn't replace them, which I initially thought was disappointing, but it turns out to be the best way. Think about it. With older units most other companies are going to tell you to replace the entire thing. They don't want to replace some part because there's no big payday in it for them. I liken it to a dentist. They don't try to save your tooth anymore because they can make much more money putting in an implant. After a time misunderstanding on my part, we arranged a time and Anthony showed up ,on time. He diagnosed the problem and replaced the part at very little cost. All guaranteed. I'm just happy if it gets me through the summer. You have to call Anthony first, before anybody else. The guy can do anything. Now if anybody asks me for a recommendation, I can say "I gotta guy"

Big mistake. 2 months and multiple follow-ups later, I had to call Edison township police department, and then, they called him. Only then did his guys show up and finish one critical part. My husband hired this company to install a complete HVAC system in a house that we just bought…read more Upon some negotiation, they agreed on a price that was obviously too good to be true. Mike and his guys came out almost everyday the first week, and seemed to have been progressing rapidly with their install. On the Friday of the week, we were informed that the job would be finished, and the remainder of the payment was due. I went into the house, and paid the remainder and was told that I would be receiving the receipt via email. That was September 1; today is September 25, and Mike has seemingly disappeared, and we never did get that receipt. The HVAC was not completely installed, as the machines do not produce heat, but we can't get Mike to come back out to finish. Do yourself a favor, and don't get scammed. Superb quality service and care of customers is an attitude, which almost always begins with the leader and my wife's experience with Frank who owns Reed's Heating and Cooling bears that out! He was honest, responsive and caring even sharing with her his experience with the product she was purchasing. Frank spoke clearly and didn't use terminology that might confuse her. He honestly told her that he couldn't get the original product but that the one he was installing, which she would never notice was any different than the original product, actually cost less. He gave her the time for her questions and always returned phone calls. He knew he was in competition with other businesses and did his research to make sure she would be totally satisfied once it was installed! Reed's secretary and other staff showed the same positive approach in serving their customer. This is a business that clearly follows their leader and their superb reputation reflects that.
