I genuinely cannot say enough good things about symmetry. After being unable to exercise the last…read moretwo years from fatigue & some health issues (and as someone who has formerly always incorporated weekly exercise in my life) I felt I had a lot to do to rebuild my foundation. Symmetry Pilates has given me all of the tools I needed to succeed. Highly personalized support with intimate class sizes. Movement that's rehabbed my foundational strength AND flexibility because both were important to me and are the cornerstone of longevity and health. && amazing culture that is unlike any other fitness spot in St. George. Sheridan has created something truly special & unique focused on incorporating the best of reformer/equipment, techniques & philosophy. The teachers are challenging, but fun & engaging. I look forward to my scheduled classes weekly & love that I have an ongoing membership & can just book my allotted classes monthly in advance.

My husband and I signed up for a three-month, 8-class membership. It was not clearly communicated…read morethat the membership would automatically extend into a fourth month due to a 30-day cancellation policy. As a result, we were charged for an additional month in November. During that time, we were traveling and unable to use the additional 8 classes we each paid for. The manager at the time informed us that our unused classes could be extended until the end of the year. However, that manager is no longer at this location, and the new manager told me there is nothing they can do and that we are simply out of luck. This has been very disappointing and does not reflect good customer service. We paid for classes we were told would be honored, and now we are being told otherwise. New management/ownership appears unwilling to offer any reasonable accommodation or compensation. Given this experience, I will not be recommending this location to friends or neighbors.

My well-thought-out plan was to sign up for Pilates ONLY during the winter months & get back in my…read morebeloved pool for workouts when the weather warms up again. Pilates would simply provide needed exercise in the winter, that's it, nothing more. My wonderful plan quickly blew up. I absolutely love Pilates, specifically Club Pilates, & each of the instructors (& the other members!) THAT MUCH!! Who knew exercise could be so amazing?! Each instructor brings her own personality & makes working out fun, interesting & leaves me looking forward to the next class. After just a couple months, my posture is improving, my body feels better, I'm getting stronger from head to toe & having a fantastic time! Pilates (on the reformer) has actually surpassed swimming & water exercise in my book, which is saying something. I'm planning to continue as long as I live.

The owners and instructors were soo sweet and really went out of their way to create a safe, loving space for us. We took a restorative class but were wanting some good movement and we definitely got it! The focus on the breath was so helpful and I almost got into a transcendent state! Super powerful stuff. The sound bowls, lavender scented eye masks and amazing props were the cherry on top. Will definitely be coming back next time I'm in town!

I was driving through St. George while moving from Washington to Arizona. I ended up staying in…read moretown for almost a week just because of this studio. There are classes every hour, so I was able to hit a morning class at 6am before it got too hot to leave my dogs in the car, and come back for a late evening class before heading out to free dispersed camping nearby. The showers are wonderful and stocked with great shampoo/conditioner/body wash. The instructors are all amazing. Classes are HOT. very humid. Warm red light. Beautiful practice spaces. It was one of my favorite spots I've visited and I've been practicing for 20 years at many different studios.

Fascia Class-Valerie taught the class and it was definitely challenging. I love the concept of this class and the release that happens from this style of rolling. Val is an excellent instructor. She keeps it light and fun. Her style is perfect and it seems everyone feels comfortable in these challenging fascia release movements. Aerial Yoga-Karlene is an incredible instructor. I've taken aerial in the past, at another studio, and this was the experience that I've been seeking. I loved the flow. It was gentle, yet challenging. Karlene also gives detailed instruction and guidance so I knew exactly what I should be doing, while protecting my body. I encourage everyone to take a class with Karlene. I wish I had a Karlene in my town!

Booking a facial at this "spa" will go down in history as one of the worst decisions of my life…read more When you arrive, there is no area to relax or change, you simply walk through a sweaty gym locker room directly into a crowded and cluttered service room. The room where we scheduled to get my facial was full of multiple chairs, and pieces of equipment; the table was crammed up against the wall and felt like a freezing cold gurney. I scheduled a 50 minute facial with an enzyme peel and specifically asked that nothing stronger be substituted based on my skin care regimen. Aesthetician ignored my concerns and requests, and without further discussion used a full strength chemical peel that has resulted in severe chemical burns in multiple places on my case. Even as the peel was on, I told her I did not feel right and it hurt too much (I have had several peels in the past) and my concerns were completely ignored. She told me what I was seeing was "frosting" which is normal; no, what I was seeing was my skin peeling off of my face within minutes because the burns were so significant. The pain and disfigurement from the facial right now prevents me from working for several days and will take intensive dermatologic care to correct. Aesthetician was rude, reckless, and should be let go immediately. What happened afterwards Made things even worse. I was supposed to have another service 30 minutes later, but could not get anything to eat on the resort because every restaurant was closed. I asked the next provider be notified that I could step off of the resort and find some food for the first time that day - instead the entire service was canceled. This was truly the worst spa experience of my entire life. The only way to salvage this place would be to raze it to the ground and clean house from the aestheticians, to the front desk, to the management. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy.

The team at real life are for real! This place is awesome and I have only been here a week so far…read morewith two more to weeks left. What I can say is this; it is not cookie cutter, it is authentic and they thrive to provide the best possible experience possible. The daily exercises; boot camp with Adam that is grueling, daily hikes with Mark that are off the beaten path natural beauty, and Zumba with Samoan Cliff to die for (literally) and food that will blow your mind crafted by Randy - this is the best value around. First, start with the location. The resort they have negotiated a partnership with is stunning. After a serious recession, this resort sat empty for five years. It has all the features; great linens, nice beds, beautiful rooms but most importantly, great management team at your service. The rooms are spacious and well secured. The pool and amenities are the bomb! Secondly, the fitness studio is well equipped with everything. It is a ways from the condos so plan on bringing a bike or call and find out what the transportation options are before checking in to your fitness spa. There is a masseuse on board; yikes is all I can say. If you want shiatsu, this guy is the ultimate sports rehab therapist. Oh my! Mark, ask for Mark. And of course April, lovely April has knowledge and experience in Pilates and lots of knowledge about everything, nutrition, stretching, physical therapy, and a walking book. Finally, did I say food? Randy, the chef is a walking angel to look to for nutritional counsel. He cooks up beautiful, well balanced meals that are amazing and he is more than willing to share his ideas about recipes and how he does it! Each member is generous and the Owner, Adam Funke of this "maverick" style regimen and spa is making every attempt to keep his dream alive. He continues to inspire each of us to push harder and to have the health and wellness we were placed on the planet with in the first place. I will upgrade my review to a five star once I have completed the program as long as it continues to provide the results. I am doing the physical work, but with the support of an awesome team. Thank you everyone at Real Life Fitness. Helen
