Just started and have completed my 7th class. So far so good! There are many types and levels of classes to choose from, which is nice.

I booked a massage through ClassPass as a Mother's Day gift for my mom. I called ahead and informed…read morethe staff that the booking was for her -- at no point was I told this would be an issue. When we arrived, the owner and staff were condescending, rude, and showed zero empathy, turning what was meant to be a special occasion into an embarrassing and upsetting experience. I've visited before for yoga classes, but the attitude toward ClassPass customers here is consistently dismissive -- from being made to fill out a new form before every single class despite being a returning customer, to the way this situation was handled. No one should be made to feel unwelcome when they're simply trying to do something kind for someone they love. What could have been a simple, understanding conversation was instead handled with zero grace. Do better.

Unfortunately, the last time I went it was not the same experience. I wanted to try something new,…read moreso I took the slow yoga class and my instructor did not make me feel welcomed. She talked to me after class and told me I should be an a beginners class and told me she doesn't go around correcting/helping others because that's not how she "teaches". I came in proud of myself for trying something new, and left feeling embarrassed and uncomfortable for putting myself out there. It's a shame because the few other times I went here, the people and instructors have been lovely and encouraging.

I paid almost 1K for private sessions and my last 2 classes the owner had other sessions with…read moreclients going on in the same room with another client while the instructor was teaching me. It was really hard to hear, focus and stay motivated. I generally NEVER complain but when you are paying a higher price for a service then that is what is to be delivered. Today I came about 10mins early the owner asked me what I was doing there (my hair is usually in a bun) naturally curly but today it was straight..assuming she did not recognize me I stated I was there for a private session with her instructor that started in 10-15 mins she told me to go wait in my car. I find it odd and its growing uncomfortable each session. The owner then went upstairs to meet with her client. If I would have randomly walked in after she went upstairs I still would have been in the waiting area... like I did the week before without having to go to my car. Pointing out she stated this in front of her loyal clients and gave me the boot when I simply was sitting on a chair smiling at her clients. I'm a lot different looking than her other looking high class clients being tanned skin tone and I would hate to feel like I'm being treated differently when my pockets and class aren't any different. You never know someone's status by looking at them. When speaking to the owner she kept insisting on more fees to accommodate services paid for as if I did not have the money to pay for my services. She then suggested a $500 an hour fee to rent out her whole studio to be funny. Usually a private session is a 1:1 session with the trainer, instructor or what have you. She stated that is not how her studio runs and it can be quite a few others in the same session. If this is the case she should have disclosed when paying that sessions were more in a group like vicinity and I would of happily paid for classes elsewhere or paid more than half the price to join a franchise. The other clients she was with was laughing hysterically and impulsively during my session that the instructor had to keep raising her voice so I can hear her on the reformer machine. The owner was absolutely contradicting and passive when I took it upon myself to speak about my experience professionally. Never asked for any money back just wanted to see if she suggested quieter times. She challenged me to looking into renting out the studio..if I wanted to I would. However, I inquired about private sessions just as you would do with a private chef, private instructor, private massage therapist, private Villa on vacation, or personal trainer. All of which I have done and it was "private" just myself and the Coach/trainer/instructor etc. This was supposed to be a wholesome, holistic experience and despite race, age, or sex everyone should be held to that standard. Maybe the owner should disclose that it may be semi private sessions when you pay for private 1:1 sessions and others will be in the room in a small space with you. Also please note that she does offer "semi-private" sessions for a lot less but it has to be with someone you refer. Now, that I'm thinking of it it seems like a scam scheme and she is still in fact having clients pay the price for "private" seasons when in fact are not private. Honestly cannot wait to do my last 7-8 sessions and book elsewhere. Helga one of the instructors is absolutely amazing. She is why I'm sticking through this or would have cared less about 1k going down the drain. I know she drives to this particular studio for her clients from other places she attends to for her livelihood.

Perhaps is Katy- West Houston's best kept secret! Is not only a Pilates reformer studio but also…read morehas the Core Align classes, this is a very personal studio, instructors are very aware of avoiding any injuries while using the equipment. They offer early classes and most important instructors will still provide the class even though only 1 person signed ( WHICH IS VERY RARE! ) Pam the owner teaches some classes as well as other great instructors, such as Jolly, Johnsy and Angela. - all of them I highly recommend! I particularly have a need to exercise every day and due to work it must be done early in the mornings, I joined Pilates & Motion after my last visit to my orthopedic doctor consultation about my neck and shoulder pain, the Dr suggested for me to exercise and develop strength, I already have tried going to the chiropractor on a weekly basis and physical therapy for my knee so I decided it was time to try something in between. Hot Yoga did wonders for me but unfortunately the schedule for the studio that I particularly like conflicts with my availability, therefore, I searched for this studio. I started about 3 months ago and I feel less neck pain, also my knees have developed strength and I am working on my core and toning more my body. I highly recommend this studio and its instructors.

Let's face it: there's strength in numbers. Hitting up a club? Strength in numbers (amirite,…read moreladies?). Tackling a brand new restaurant's menu? Strength in numbers. MMORPGS? Definitely strength in numbers. See? Life is totally better in groups. And when I'm laying in my warm bed next to a half-eaten bag of hot Cheetos and debating whether or not to go to the gym, the thing that finally gets me going is the strong, collective call of my Vibe Tribe. It's only been a week since I started at Vibe Fitness, a small yoga/barre/lightweight group fitness boutique in Katy, but I'm already starting to feel like I've found my fitness home. The boutique offers a *very generous* 5-Day Free Trial, and with such a huge variety of classes to choose from, I was excited to get started! (And me being excited about working out NEVER happens.) INTRO TO AERIAL Bring: Yoga Mat (optional) What you can expect: Deep stretching and flexibility; getting used to being supported by the silk in different yoga poses; some inversions See those pictures with people hanging upside in turquoise silks? Yup, welcome to Aerial! I've never really been into yoga, but aerial yoga sounded badass and it's Vibe Fitness's forte. The studio only has room for 5-6 silks, so take note that the class size for Aerial will always be small. The first part of class focuses on lots of deep stretches and yoga poses while utilizing the silks but remaining on the ground - nothing too hard. Once we got on the silks and started doing beginner's inversions (flipping upside-down basically), it became a different story: if you're new to aerial, it may be kind of a scary, dizzying first experience. It was difficult for me to trust the silk; and between that and getting light-headed from all the flipping, I left class feeling pretty nauseous and I had to take it easy at home for the next hour. Not the best first impression, but once I get buddy-buddy with the silk, I'll be good to go. BARRE Bring: Grippy socks & Yoga Mat (both optional), Towel, Water What you can expect: Small isometric movements combined w/ light weights, bands, balls, and ballet bar to tone muscles; some cardio SO GOOD to be back on the bar! If you follow my reviews, you know this is my preferred workout. I swear, this is the female body's best friend! VF's version still has all the plié-leg lift-high ankle-squatting-pulsing goodness I've experienced at other boutiques, but it's more fast-paced. Some boutiques take it slow and you'll never break a sweat, but not at Vibe! I'd recommend having some previous barre knowledge and knowing some of the lingo/poses, lest you be struggling to keep up. BODYPUMP Bring: Weight gloves & Yoga Mat (both optional), Gym shoes, Towel, Water, A pair of lightweight dumbbells (they have a limited supply) What you can expect: Light to moderate weight-lifting with both dumbbells and barbell; lots of reps; all-over body work-out Bodypump. Kicked. My. Ass. This class MAKES you work, but you feel so accomplished at the end of it. It was the best way to end my trial week! There's tons of lifting, curling, planking...and yes, reps on reps on reps of those damned squats and lunges. But with instructor Tiplah's inspiring, explosive energy, her badass EDM playlist, and the camaraderie of my fellow peers, we all pulled through. Again, this class is pretty fast-paced and it doesn't help if you need to switch out barbell weights in-between circuits, so having some prior Bodypump experience may be beneficial. After my 5-Day Free Trial and 3 straight days of working out with my Vibe Tribe, you can bet that my body HATESSS me right now, but this is definitely the beginning of something beautiful. The classes I tried out only scratch the surface: there's also Candlelight Yoga, Kickboxing/Self-Defense, Bootcamp, PiYo, Surfset, and more. In addition, VF is totally kid-friendly with Child/Teen Yoga classes and child-care. And for a boutique with as much variety as this, membership rates are REALLY great: I used to spend $100+/month at fitness boutiques that only offered 2 different classes; here, it's $55-75/month for unlimited drop-ins to a whole smorgasbord of classes! You just can't beat that. Excited to keep vibin' with my Vibe Tribe!

Firstly, their price is reasonable. You can buy the class package on Groupon…read more however, they have the worst customer service. when you have any issues and wanna call them, their phone is never being picked up. Voice mail is always full! Me and my friends trying to book one class on Sunday using our Groupon, but online when we were trying to book the class, we need to pay extra. So we started calling them since Monday, cannot even leave a voice mail. we texted and emailed serval times. NO ONE CONTACT US BACK! This is horrible. will never come back AGAIN!
