I liked taking classes here -- the instructor Ginny is great and the workouts themselves are excellent. Unfortunately, the management and communication have been extremely disappointing. It takes forever to get a response to an email, even for urgent matters regarding credits that I have paid in advance that were frozen due to medical reasons which are no longer available on the app -even though they were promised- Even my phone messages have gone unanswered. It's really really frustrating to feel ignored as a paying client. I'll be finishing up my remaining credits and moving to another studio that values better communication and customer service. I wouldn't recommend this studio. It's a shame because it was close by, but the way the studio operates has made the experience stressful rather than enjoyable and I won't be returning. read more

Clean studio, full equipment & knowledgeable staff. The studio is always @ a comfortable temperature which is nice especially during these hot summer days and they have a water filling station. Benhaz is my favorite instructor, she's very precise, and provides alternative options if you need to accommodate a limitation. She'll also walk around and will make small adjustments to your form to ensure you're doing the exercise correctly & safe. These are group classes so if you're new to a Pilates you definitely need to pay attention to cues for all the different positions. Only downside is they do have so much equipment out next to each reformer that it's very tight & limited space to maneuver thru the studio. I recommend this studio to anyone looking for a great Pilates class! read more

Paid in full for a year and while I'm obligated to stay. Buyer beware. I was sick and let them know but will still be charged for "late cancellations" even tho they knew I was sick. I will make the best of my year that I've paid for but just know this is a business and you're well being is not a priority. This is not against the staff or the teachers they have been great. Today, I completed my 1,365 classes at this studio. I had been suffering from the back pain for many years and tried everything I could think of, but nothing worked. First time I tried Pilates, I immediately fallen love with and became a member. After I started practicing everyday about a year, noticed my back pain has been completely gone. I love coming to this studio and it became a part of my life! Beth and Kara have been working hard to ensure that we have good experiences. Club Pilates foothill ranch is a great Pilates studio. The equipment is up to date and the classes are very easy to book in the app. They offer many promotions and offers to earn. The teachers are on top of it and there is many options of teachers. It's peaceful and an amazing workout every time. It definitely makes you actually enjoy working out. I've been hesitant to write this review, as I normally prefer to only "Yelp" or "Google" when the experience is a positive one. But, after revisiting their site and seeing that what happened to me, happened to others, I've decided to proceed. Like many, I signed up for the 3 months, auto payment plan. Unfortunately, at my "almost" 2 month mark, I was injured (not at the studio) and required surgery along with no activity (I was also unable to work and was now on short term disability) The studio was notified the very next morning (as I had a class scheduled) They were extremely "understanding" and I provided the requested paperwork (medical documents) needed, to freeze my membership. And, though the account was to be "frozen"...it was not. As, they opted to continue to bill me. I once again provided them the medical documentation (did I mention, I'm also a nurse) that my surgeon had dictated. But, nothing. Sadly, Beth would not return ANY calls and had one of her assistants finally communicate with me. And, though I was "told" the money would be refunded...this turned out to be more of a stalling tactic. Until the calls and texts were just completely ignored. So, buyer beware... There are a TON of places to work out at...and ethical owners, too! Choose wisely. read more

Started out great but high staff turnover and poor management leave me no choice to leave a 2-star review. 1. One instructor picked up a stick and threatened to 'tap' students not doing the movement right. In a beginners class. 2. One instructor teaching a level 1 class asking students to do much too difficult movement. (Should a level 1 class EVER be asking you to stand/balance on the moving reformer for ANY exercises??) 3. Student was injured during class - instructor only offered her water bottle to 'ice down' the injury?? I emailed the owner suggesting she ensure her staff is first aid trained or at least know where the ice packs are stored. No reply. 4. No one answers the phone so I emailed my 30 day cancellation notice. 2 weeks later, I finally got a reply saying I needed to pay for another 30 days because you must cancel exactly 30 days before your monthly payment is taken. read more

My friend and I joined Club Pilates together and decided to terminate our memberships on the same day. We sent the email together at the same time, but despite both wanting to cancel for the next month, I was charged for an additional month under the 30-day cancellation policy, while my friend was able to cancel without being charged. When I contacted the studio, they claimed everyone is held to the 30-day cancellation policy. However, I pointed out that my friend was able to cancel without any issue. The owner, Beth, asked me who my friend was and when I told her and explained the situation again she stopped responding. It's clear that this studio/owner has a record of billing issues. I was even nervous to share my friend's name as I felt Beth would go back and charge her. I strongly advise avoiding this studio altogether as it seems that the policies are not enforced equally. I'm not the only person who has had a negative experience with Beth regarding billing issues. Do not waste your time and money here. read more

I've been doing drop in classes for 2-3 month because I wanted to make sure that I like this place as well as the exercise. Today at 5pm class with Beth is really disappointing not because the class content and how the class is taught. At the beginning of the class, she brought up she's doesn't own a lulu lemon legging. Here I quote below: -I don't own them because they are made in China. Not I have a problem with made in China, it's just made in America will make me much happier. As a Chinese person, standing there listening to this. I don't know the logic behind this, as well as how uncomfortable it made me feel. I hope all trainers can have a boundary on politics and racial preference during class. I think it's a decency to pay attention to the class diversity and ethnicity. To point out, all classes I've having have been really good, all trainers are very professional. This is the closest location near my house, so I will be coming back for my classes if I decided to do unlimited membership with them. But I hope they can be more culturally aware to the wide range of student diversity. read more

This is a great studio with good instructors, but they have too many members and you can't get into classes. Each month you're forced to get on a waitlist and in most cases you don't get in so you end up losing money since the unused classes for your membership don't roll over into the next month. It's very disappointing and Claire knows this. She should have more respect for her customers and not keep taking in new customers. read more

A year has passed since I joined this amazing club and all I have to say is: HOW have I gone this far in my life without it!? I cannot begin to express how much Club Pilates Foothill Ranch has transformed my body and mind. I was so nervous after not working out consistently for 10 years to get into something new...but it has been the perfect match from the start. I had done mat pilates videos at home after having each of my babies, who are now 18 and 21 LOL, but I had never tried the reformer machine. Here we are a year later, and I am 15 lbs. lighter and my body has transformed. Everyone is so friendly and unassuming here, the instructors are patient and kind, and I crave these workouts! I can go from grumpy or stressed walking in to 50 minutes after class, bouncing out with a smile. If you have old injuries, or even new ones that don't do well with "hard core" workouts or just need to try something different, try an intro class and see what you think. I am addicted for life. If I could give a zero star I would, do not sign up at this location. I was harassed and bullied by an instructor who humiliated me in front of the class, causing me to leave humiliated and on the verge of tears. The owner Beth texted me the next day providing a very insincere apology and not even trying to comp me for the class I missed due to her instructor's behavior. They only care about money. Beth is also very insensitive to other cultures when I was signing up there was an Asian woman in front of me and Beth asked so what do you do, the woman replied "I'm an engineer to which Beth snarking said of course you are. I don't think the woman caught on but I thought it was rude that should have been the red flag for me but I went ahead and signed up. Worst mistake. Don't sign up here unprofessional people. I left a class in tears because of how I was treated this should never happen ever to anyone. read more

I love Club Pilates Foothill Ranch!! It is the cleanest and most customer service oriented fitness facility I've ever been to. The instructors are fantastic and make you work hard. Linda and Claire are my favorite instructors because they always provide a challenging workout. The variety of classes offered at the studio is also great. I mix it up between cardio and pilates 1.5 but they also offer TRX bases classes and stretch classes that are fantastic. I would highly recommend this facility. read more

So then I'm out the money AND didn't get into any classes. Each month was like this. Classes do not roll over so if you can't get into any class each month you are SOL. Management never offered a solution, only blamed me for not having enough availability. This business is a fraud. The first red flag was when my socks with the traction on the bottom was not good enough for an intro class. I had to purchase their $20 socks in order to try the class. Yep, very shady contract and billing practices by Club Pilates as confirmed by their own billing company representatives who apologized and stated that they receive many similar complaints. Called the owner, Beth, multiple times to pursue resolution to a member termination issue and after the initial conversation where she was quite rude, unprofessional and hung up on me, she then would not return any follow up calls. I felt compelled to apologize to the staff, who were very polite, for leaving so many messages in an effort to try to clear up the issue and ultimately paid the "late" fee two months after I notified them I wanted the contract terminated just to put an end to it. I used to be addicted to an evening glass of wine (or two) until I started Club Pilates in August, 2020, 2-3 classes a week. Now, five months later, two sizes smaller, I regularly book 5 to 6 classes a week (soon it will be 7). I will be turning 57 in a few months and I haven't been this fit and feeling this good since my 30s. There's a variety of classes offered seven days a week, experienced and friendly instructors, beginning to advanced levels to always keep it interesting and challenging and - most importantly - you feel welcomed here. I've been going there for five weeks, four times a week and can say that this place is great! No one is pushy, they let you make up your own mind about joining. Staff and the owner are very friendly. Teachers know what they are doing. I enjoy coming here every time. They have many different time slots and levels available so you can pick what works for you. Teachers pay attention to you and help if you need it. I look forward to coming here! A great place for fun and good exercise. As far as billing is concerned, they are very understanding. I woke up very sick one morning and had to cancel less than 12 hours in advance. They were very understanding and made an exception for me and didn't charge me a cancellation fee. I also have a surgery coming up within my first three-month period and they were very nice about it. Because this is not something I could control, so Beth froze my account until I would come back.
