Adult oriented review…read more... Having been an open and active swinger every minute of my adult life, I check out as many swingers "lifestyle" clubs as I possibly can. I love seeing how different clubs in different cities set themselves up. Plus, any excuse to meet new people and play with them is a good reason. My wife had some business things to handle via zoom in the hotel room so I went over to this club myself. I had just visited the one in New Orleans a few days earlier and was excited to check this one out. Of course, there is always the waivers, fees and check in stuff when new at any club. As a single female for the night, they definitely streamlined the process. Single, attractive women that swing are treated like royalty at swing clubs. This club was no different. Once was inside, having forgotten to bring anything to drink, as this club was byob, I found myself alcohol deficient. I had to barter for drinks and had fun making trades. If you get my meaning. I found this club fun, clean and had plenty of attractive, fun and play minded men and women. The staff were all pleasant and I saw nobody pushing nor violating the rules. There was a good mix of ages from mid twenties to people in their sixties. Nobody pressured me nor made me feel uncomfortable in any way. I found four like minded women and really enjoyed their company. I only stayed for about three hours but I really enjoyed it. If I lived in the Dallas area, I'd certainly be a member and spend my Saturday nights there. If swinging is your thing or you just like to watch and enjoy the vibe, this club is for you.

What started as a great night ended up one of my worst nights here in Texas. We had great drinks…read moreand bartenders were great but towards the end of the night it went downhill very fast. I had bought a drink after 2 am as it was the last call for alcohol and bartender sold it to me. I walked with my drink in my hand towards the club inside called Avalon and stood outside of it by the dance floor. Then an older man (busboy) came up to my friends and I and ordered us to finish our drinks right then and there because he was picking up the glasses. Mind you he still had plenty of other glasses he still had to pick up. Most of my friends did finish their drinks right then and there but I couldn't finish it fast enough as it was cold and it was giving me brain freeze. He kept rushing me and I told him once I was done I would take it up to the nearest bar. He became super snarky and said I couldn't do that. I kept trying to drink my drink as fast as I could and he decided to snatch my drink (that I had bought) out of my hand. I have never in my life been so humiliated and upset in my life. I bet he wouldn't have done that to a make counterpart. I was so upset I began to cry because I've never been put in a situation like that especially since it was a male and he was so aggressive. I went up to the head bouncer and my friend explained the situation, all that was said was that he would be spoken to. Honestly I don't plan to step foot in a place like that where there is aggressive males especially workers. Deeply disappointed especially since I'm visiting from California and it was my first time ever stepping foot in this establishment.

I was nicely approached but didn't take the bait because it feels like a brothel so you quickly figured it out who are the patrons and who are working. It is a strange environment since I had to decipher who is available without having to pay. I am sure fun can be had. Robert the doorman is great. Unfortunately it is pretty far away from the gay district in a tuck away location and it was pretty slow. Ethnic friendly place with mostly Blacks but all are welcome. This place has like 20,000 some likes on facebook and almost 2,000 check-ins so we decided to check it out on that basis. The men here are all Mexican Cowboys. Complete with 10 gallon cowboy hat, cowboy buckles, cowboy boots, cowboy style button down shirt. I think they had horse parking around the side of the building. Not my style, but we're already here, so f*ck it, let's go. Dominic is right about his Dusk till Dawn comment. Lots of the ladies here wear very little ill fitting clothing. It looked a little like the C-squad on a Wednesday afternoon at the strip club. And there is lots of mysterious, smelly 90's style stage smoke wafting around the place for some reason. Like someone forgot to turn off the smoke machine when that trend ended 15 years ago. Even though my friend and I had the most clothes on of all the women in the whole place, we still got plenty of attention. We went on Valentine's weekend though, so pretty much everyone was already coupled. We only paid for our first round of drinks, and it was about $10 for two mixed drinks. The night turned out ok because we got to chill in the DJ booth, and he played reggaeton at my request and I got to dance and flirt with the one hot guy in the whole place. Overall, the people and staff were generous and accommodating. I won't be making this a regular spot, but If you're just looking for something different and are open and adventurous, pop in to check it out. Probably bring at least one friend with you that speaks even bad spanish, and go in a group. P.S. The little taco shop next door is AH-Mazing and cheap, and open late. Noms.

You go out expecting to have a good time, but instead you're stuck dealing with inconsistent rules that seem to change depending on who's at the door. There's no clear communication, and people are getting turned away for things that shouldn't even be an issue at a club. It feels more like they're picking and choosing who they want to let in rather than enforcing anything fairly. A place that's supposed to be about music and having fun shouldn't make you feel stressed before you even walk in. Definitely not worth the hassle.
