There were alot of sauce at the bottom of the plate and only four pieces of shrimp and two pieces of tofu so basically you are just getting noodles and noodles are cheap. I wouldn't recommend getting this dish for $21 and you don't even get any protein. We didn't finish the dish and the waitresses didn't offer a take away container, just are you finished so she can take away the dish. I was disappointed in my dining experience. The only person who was friendly was the host. The waitress didn't come to our table right away to take our order and only came to bring is our food. We also didn't ask for the check. It was given to us while we were still eating and the waitress couldn't even wait for me to put down my credit card. I can't say I want to come back here to dine again. The food and the service leaves me very disheartened.

My server, McKenzie, was extremely friendly, well-mannered, and attentive. She checked on me often and did her best to address my concerns when I expressed my disappointment with some of the food. Unfortunately, the food itself was a different story. I was not a fan of the steamed mini oysters, and I was extremely disappointed with my Seafood Boil. The boil was very bland and lacked the flavor I was expecting. The extra sauce, and seasoning didn't help it. After speaking with the manager, he explained that they don't cook the seafood with seasoning. That definitely helped me understand why my boil tasted so bland to me. Unfortunately, Hook & Reel just isn't for me. I appreciate the manager offering me a 50% discount on the boil, especially since I left more than half of it behind. Personally, I felt the boil should have been removed completely from the bill, but I'm still thankful for the accommodation he did make. Final thoughts: Great service from McKenzie, but unfortunately the food didn't meet my expectations.
