The lady that accepts donations in the store is always so gracious everytime that I walk in to give her stuff. I don't buy from here, I only donate clean clothes. The store smells "old" and musty. Likely it is from the old beams and flooring of the store.

We always know we're gonna walk away with at least one item each when we go here! They have tons of awesome books for $2 each. I found three incredible books that total would have cost me over $50 retail and I spent $6 total. Sometimes they even do a $1 book deal! Lots of great murder mystery books. They also have some nifty furniture too! Definitely different styles of old and new that could look really great in the right place. I've found lots of amazing pieces clothing wise here too. So I came to UGM thrift store and totally found what I dreamed of making, large white floating shelves! 2 of them and they were marked for only $20! Which is already an amazing price. Plus I had a few other items that I wanted but some stuff didn't have prices so I was a little worried that I wouldn't have enough money for everything but the cashier guy gave me 50-80% off on everything! Even the shelves were now only $10! I almost started to tear up cause that was so nice of him!! This totally made my day and helped me out so much. I wanted to defend this poor shopping customer but I minded my own business, I went in today and was mistreated by the same woman. I asked to speak to someone else because she was treating me awful and she still was like nope I'm the only one and I did mention the way that she had treated other people in the past and she wouldn't let me buy my clothes. I'll never be returning and will be trying to find someone to speak to as this person is taking away the ability to shop at a decent price safely.

It's a small, but well-organized little spot that - at the time of our visit - was brimming with all things Halloween and holidays. For a store with limited space, this place had pretty much everything and the prices were reasonable, too. I was most impressed with their selection of household goods and glassware - though, located in the front of the store along narrow aisles, I felt lucky to get through without accidentally breaking something. In the back was more household stuff, games/toys, and clothing. My friend found their locked jewelry cabinet and bought a lovely silver pendant, and I left with a couple of sewing-related odds-and-ends to add to my stash when we got home. This is one of those places where it would be fun to go back frequently and see what's new. Bonus for plentiful free parking in front!
