I admit that clearly I have an addiction, and I am fine with this, albeit it's a costly addiction, I work hard, and I strongly believe self care is very important. Sadly, my favorite massage therapist left today for a one month vacation. Jessica is the only therapist I see, as she is the only one who hits all my trigger spots, and then I go off to la-la land and forget about life for a while. I have used a few of the other therapists, and although they have all been good, they aren't Jessica, and Jessica understands me. She speaks English, which makes it easier, but we are at the point now where I just lay there and let her do her thing. I might stop in while she is on vacation, and I am sure I will be happy, but Jessica just takes it to another level. The spa is immaculate. I am 100% happy with my massages, and the price points are comparable to other local spas that specialize in foot reflexology. They charge a two dollar service fee to use a debit or credit card. This seems to be the new normal these days, as many restaurants are doing the same. It doesn't bother me, but I wanted to mention it. If I can change one thing, I wish the management team would enforce clients to be as quiet as possible when they enter the spa room where the magic happens. We are instructed to turn off our phones, which is logical. But some people don't realize that walking in jingling their keys is rather distracting. I mean, the room is sorta darkish, there is soothing relaxation music playing, we are all cozy with a blanket over us as well as a light towel covering our eyes. So, the inconsiderate clients who jingle their keys and whisper loudly, I beg you to please stop. Be considerate to other clients who are attempting to escape life for a little while. I've been to several foot reflexology spas, and without a doubt, I find the Palace to be the best of the best. FYI: They are located in a busy plaza, so allow yourself extra time to find parking, especially during season.

(For context, I had previously texted three times and called once to schedule an appointment with no response, so I ultimately had to walk in to book it.) When I arrived, the massage therapist asked me to prepay, which I've never experienced before despite being a frequent spa-goer. I then presented my gift certificate, at which point she said she needed to call the owner to confirm it was "okay." The owner got on speakerphone and immediately claimed she had owned the business for six years and had never issued or signed that gift card. The front desk staff echoed that it "wasn't real." You can imagine how shocking it felt to be essentially accused of fraud. As this was happening, the employee began rummaging through the desk, where I could clearly see a stack of gift cards identical to mine. The explanation then shifted to say the card was "expired," even though there was no issue date or expiration listed anywhere on it. Much of the conversation between the staff and the owner continued in Chinese, with only portions translated into English when directed at me. Within minutes, I pulled up my bank statement showing the charge from February 2025 as proof of purchase. Despite this, there was no apology--no acknowledgment that they were mistaken. At that point, I declined the service and requested a refund. It took about ten minutes for them to return my money. During that time, the employee literally held the cash against her chest--refusing to hand it over--while requiring me to sign the back of the gift certificate to confirm I was redeeming it for cash. When she said she couldn't clearly read the $165 refund amount I wrote, she made me rewrite it and continued to withhold the money until she was satisfied. This was one of the most unacceptable business experiences I've ever had. The way I was treated was rude, offensive, and completely unprofessional--and being accused of fraud over a legitimate gift certificate was beyond inappropriate. What should have been a relaxing experience instead caused unnecessary stress and frustration from start to finish. My takeaway: if you purchase a gift card here, make sure you use a credit card and keep your receipt. I can't imagine how this situation would have played out had I not been able to immediately produce proof of purchase. I walked in hoping for a relaxing massage and left after being accused of fraud--not exactly a zen experience.

Cece was my therapist, and her technique was solid (4/5). I just wish she had asked about my pressure preference at some point, as I definitely would have asked for a bit more firmness. The facility itself is very clean (4/5), and I really appreciated that I was able to book a same-day appointment. One thing to note is that hot stones are an extra charge here, whereas other spots in the WPB area usually include them.
