Clover Fields is Australia's oldest family-owned soap manufacturer. We began in 1983 as a boutique business in the Blue Mountains and grew into a thriving factory and design centre which is now based in Penrith, an hour west of Sydney. We broke ground as the first company in Australia to replace animal tallow-based soaps with a pure vegetable base, and our business now aims to be at the forefront of innovation in environmentally conscious products and manufacturing. We pride ourselves on our dedication to designing and producing quality, Australian-made soaps and body care, that everyone can afford. We not only have a large range of our own products, but we also specialise in OEM contract manufacturing for other brands and companies. Our founder & owner is Elizabeth Valek, pictured here with her daughter Geneva, who works on our product development and sales team. Clover Fields was established in 1983 by Elizabeth Valek - our owner and founder. When stuck at home with a broken ankle, a spark of creativity turned into a burgeoning small business. Little did she know that her kitchen cook-up would snowball into many decades of manufacturing to become a market leader within the body and hair care sectors. We were the first company in Australia to manufacture non-tallow based soaps, and we set the fashion of nude, pantry-style soaps, which until then had not been common in Australia. In 2018, we launched our groundbreaking range of shampoo bars called Shampoo With A Purpose. It was the first in a series of wonderful collaborations between our founder Liz and her daughter, Geneva, who joined the company with the aim to reach new audiences and eradicate as much plastic as possible.
