I truly enjoyed my experience at the Cloud Factory . I was visiting from out of town and heard about this hookah lounge by word of mouth . I wasn't aware of the BYOB policy until we arrived. Next time, we know what to expect however the staff were friendly and hospitable . I ordered the wings and fries, and must say ... those wings were some of the best wings I ever had . Cloud Factory is a chill vibe to hang out with others and smoke a hookah . The service was great and the scenery of the people were authentic . I'm definitely returning upon my visit to Philly ! read more

I've been to this spot several times with my husband on different occasions and always had a great time. I even spoke with the manager a while back about renting the venue for a birthday party because the atmosphere and vibe were always good. Unfortunately, our experience this past Friday 6/26/26 was very disappointing. My husband and I took our daughter and her boyfriend there to celebrate her birthday. When we arrived, the security guard informed us that the air conditioning wasn't working, but there was still a $10 cover charge per person for the four of us. I even asked if they were still charging a cover despite having no A/C, and he said we can just go in. Once inside, we ordered one hookah since only my daughter and I planned to smoke. After waiting about 15 minutes for the hookah, security came in roughly 30 minutes later and announced they were shutting down at 11:48 p.m. because of the lack of air conditioning, even though there were still other customers inside relaxing and smoking. To make matters worse, when my husband paid the bill, we were charged $80 for the cover charges and one hookah, even though there was no air conditioning and we were forced to leave after only about 30 minutes. It was disappointing to pay full price for such a short and uncomfortable experience. I expected much better, especially as someone who has supported this establishment in the past. I will not be returning again. Do better!! read more

Small hookah lounge with a great DJ and awesome service. All the staff was welcoming and kind. They continuously came to check in on us. We came on a Wednesday and the hookah was $10 off! It's BYOB! read more

The food was delicious. You have to try their mocktails. I tried one that was mixed with lychee juice and came topped with gummie bears. They even gave of a deck of Uno cards to use as we waited for our food drinks and hookah. read more

Went to the Cloud Factory for a special Happy Hour event this week and it was an absolute vibe. The spot is under new ownership and it definitely was welcoming. Im glad i got there early because it got packed out. I ordered the "Nelson Mandela" and "Black Mamba" hookah and both had me feeling nice, especially that Black Mamba. There was a DJ there which was dope and the crowd was a sprinkle of everything. They made sure our goals stayed hot and the hookah was pulling! Def going to head back since the vibe has definitely elevated read more

Amazing service and plenty of great hookah choices. Hit up jay, great guy. He'll hook you right up with the best hospitality. 10/10 recommend to anyone coming to Philly. Not to mention a great overall vibe read more

Cloud factory had a dope vibe. Went on a Friday night with a friend and had a really good time! There was music played connected from one of the workers phones until the DJ came that night. (We got there early when it opened). Music was straight from new school to old school. It's a hole in the wall so nothing fancy about the place, just go chill and have a good time with friends. It's BYOB so you not spending $$$ on watered down drinks all night. (You made that weak drink!) The hookahs were standard regular hookahs, the staff was working well to get coals replaced and rotated. We were checked on pretty much the whole night, never had to hunt anybody down for new coal or anything. read more

Love this place!! Super chill and good vibes! The Philly egg rolls were great and the hookah was smooth with great flavors!

Jay was working tonight & gave great service, was friendly, & funny! Would come again

Visited twice while in Philly. Hole in the wall hookah lounge. BYOB. Very small. Nice music selection. Kinda of on the pricey side for the hookah. read more

I was a customer of this place on a Saturday night, where it was pretty packed. 30 minutes into my time being here i and my friend were thrown up on by another customer. It was a very uncontrolled atmosphere. Someone else threw up on us from being too drunk. No one from the establishment even came over to apologize to us, or better yet help us get someone else's VOMIT off of us. We had to get our own napkins and sit by this vomit for at least 10 minutes. When we went to leave, we were also overcharged, and they charge $5 per person to BYOB. No one from management apologized to us about having someone else vomit on us until we complained. Not a professional service at all. Service was also terrible to round it out ! Thank you for charging us $50 to be thrown up on :) Edit: after posting this they sent me this harassing message proving their professionalism :) read more

Visited philly for the weekend and checked out this place. It was fun and the hookah was great. Also we had great customer service! Definitely would come back here again whenever in town. read more

Man if COVID wasn't happening I would of took my business else where. Giving the one star is being generous smh... I don't know where to even begin. That receptionist or whoever this guy was provided TERRIBLE customer service I don't even know why he even works there because it seemed as though he didn't want to be there. Let my list all the things that was wrong with the service: 1. Person working there was NOT wearing a mask 2. He did not sanitize any tables after a customer left 3. No toilet paper in the bathroom 4. They had two doors and one was locked so I knocked on the door and the person working there didn't even get up he just yelled from where he was sitting to use the other door... atleast put a sign on the door saying you want us to use the other door. 5. Music... SUCKED. Luckily I was able to request songs but if I didn't we would of been listening to rap music all night long. There's much more I want to add but this is the gist of it. If you want a night out... don't go here. I read more

Cloud Factory, a recent entrant to the Philadelphia Shisha scene is one of the best lounges in the city in my opinion. Within a week, I introduced this place to a couple of other friends, fellow hookah aficionados who were quality appreciative of this place. They do not have an expansive food menu like some of the other hookah bars, but they make a fine shisha. The cafe is BYOB, so you do have an option to pair your shisha with drinks of your choice. I recommend mixing a fruity flavor (grape, orange, kiwi) with paan rasna for a minty, refreshing experience. read more

not friendly people working there. money we paid for 2 people just for one Hookah was very expensive and didn't even change our Hookah.Hookah place suppose to be nice and relaxing but I was so stressed out because of people who couldn't do their job. They didn't even tell us that we have to pay first and then we can have it. Why to open business like that if you don't know how to make your place number one destination for us. Eating there I wouldn't even suggest it. Really dirty , seating area was not comfortable at all. If you want to enjoy your time with your friends in Hookah place don't go there, you will be very disappointed. read more

The hookah is not great at all. The service was even worse. Do not come here. I will not be coming here again. The first time I went I was willing to excuse it as a fluke, after the second time I'm done with this place. read more

Probably the worst service I've ever experienced with a hookah lounge. The people were beyond rude when we walked in, didn't greet us or anyrhing. After walking in and asking about seating and details, he told us we had to buy at minimum 3 hookahs when there was 5 of us. On top of that, I called before we went and they never told me anything, just said that since we are buying food and what not our accommodation could be made. Literally so rude and misleading, wasted time and money going there just to walk out due to its bad service. Never coming back here and a damn shame considering it was the first hookah lounge I've been to in Philly. It was dead with bad music and it genuinely felt like they were ripping us off because there was no one there. Rude and unprofessional. read more

What an awful place, hookah was broken! Bathroom was run down and dirty. Server was twerking and eating left 4 tables with no help... Great location but horrible business , officially never going back ... read more

Terrible establishment. Very flip floppy in regulations, no furniture must bring all equipment. No chairs or tables and NO MUSIC! Awful to be honest. Bathroom is very filthy and no toilet paper. Employees argue with owner in front of customers and make you feel uncomfortable. Change prices in the middle of you being there and having a good time read more

Great ambience, recently opened lounge with a great feel, vibe and music to it. A definite must see when in Philadelphia and a sure fire way to get some calm and ease after a long, tough day at work, or if you're just travelling in the city for pleasure or business, it's also a great place to be able to get work done when the need arises. As far as the drinks, the lassi is a great touch not usually found at a hookah bar, so it was a great sight to see. I ended up smoking paan, pineapple and mint which have a great taste, and smooth clouds. I'll definitely be back whenever I'm in town. read more

Cloud Factory has great hookah deals during the weekdays I love their specials! The service is exceptional and the servers are so attentive and personable. I can't wait to be back in. I've been here a couple of times since the place opened and it's a great vibe! You have to try out their tea selection + the mango juice! Also, the place is byob and has outdoor seating! In a great location right in the center city area!! Will be back soon! Also, shout out to the people who make the hookah read more

Go somewhere else not clean at all prices are a complete ripe off! They played the same songs over and over for hours!

It was okay. The atmosphere needs work. They were playing some kind of narco shit on the TV which it's not something to vibe to while hookah. The music needs a little work too. The guy who "served" us seemed nice enough and made sure we were go with the hookah.‍ Overall...meh. read more

This place was awful! They should not have kids running the front. I came with my friend and we were waiting for two more friends and they told us we had to pay before they got there and had to choose their hookah flavors without them! They charged us $130 for 3 hookahs and we tipped an extra $30 and they gave us the worst service! We asked them to switch our coals an hour in and they never did, an hour later we asked again and they told us we had to leave because we could only be there for 2 hours. Why wasn't this said to us when we get there? The hookah was good but this rating is strictly for the service! I would never go back here and I hope whoever the owner is gets better workers read more

Two stars because I really like the design and layout of the lounge but man the hookah is horrible. The actual hookahs were fake and not Egyptian Khalil mamons like other places. The tobaccos burns after 15 mins of smoking because of small hookah head with gigantic coals. Good vibes tho, management just needs to step up their hookah making game lol read more

I went here after dinner with friends to continue. birthday celebration. The owner or manager was very rude about seating. He wanted to place a party of 3 at a cramped table for two. He also made us order two hookahs because we could not share (only two per hookah). We were charged for bringing our own alcohol as well. The actual hookah wasn't bad just don't get the peach.I probably won't be back here however. Try Hubble Bubble. read more

I had the opportunity of celebrating a birthday at Cloud with a large group of friends. I worked with Vicky (owner) who was a pleasure to work with! He was super communicative, respectful and willing to do what was needed to ensure that the time spent at his establishment was great. We had a group of 11 and all of our needs were met- from being comfortable to fresh coals, cleaning our hookah to drinks and snacks. One of his workers, an African American young lady was also Awesome; For some reason I can not recall her name. Please come visit this place!! read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. Terrible management. The guy that came out and told us to leave was very rude, we spent over $100 and were told to leave because we wouldn't buy another hookah. Customer service is a must and that is where they lack. Spend your money elsewhere!!!! read more
