I'm always a bit turned off my the two drink minimum if it's a night I'm not drinking, but they count waters towards your two drinks and are not very strict on the rule. The service for getting your drink is a bit slow, but it's a weird set up in there and they are trying not to be distracting, so there's prob a science to it all. The shtick is funny for about 30 seconds, then it low-key grates on you. It's sad because this place has potential to be more than what it is. The video projector seems to be used just one night a month for cheesy/grade-Z movie nights (someone is putting in some effort here), and there are regularly interesting DJs on Fridays and Saturdays. But for as much decor as there is, this place could be 10 times better and trippier than it is with the right lights and LED effects (some oil-wheel projectors, maybe?), and that would actually give more people a reason to climb up that daunting staircase. Perhaps they could make use of the video projector more regularly too; or maybe there could be live ambient music nights like Berlin's Kwia club. They really need more reasons why people should go here, and a bunch of clown pictures and posters on the walls can actually be more creepy and scary than funny.
