Unpleasant shopping experience. Snarky store manager, devoid of any sense of customer service. More about, could not care less attitude.

Checked my watch and it was 6:50. in my opinion this was terrible customer service. The sales staff was obviously in a hurry to close and should never have informed me of closing time unless I was lingering in the store past 7pm. The pants fit but I was annoyed and purchased them online verses in the store.

If it weren't for Chico's I would probably be walking around naked. Well...except for St. John but…read moreI would never clean the house in those. St. John is for when you want to kick ass and be taken seriously. But I digress. The first time I walked into a Chico's store was many years ago in a land far far away...NOLA. Louisiana that is. And it was love at first sight. I must have tried on everything in the store, putting together pieces to mix and match to see me thru the next season. My husband (who is never a patient shopper but was that day) finally said "Make up your mind...they've been closed for an hour" I had no idea, so I apologized and was told that was perfectly fine cause they were enjoying helping me. That's the thing about this company - they treat their employees well and I've never met anyone who didn't love their product and love working here. If wanted a job I would be working for them. But it's all about the clothes - the comfort and feel. And wearability. And how they make you feel. You can dress it up or dress it down...Whether planning to spend the day in the kitchen or go to a ball (I have worn a dress I bought here to a formal ball). I have clothing that is years old that never wears out. I might get sick of wearing it, but it doesn't wear out. It used to be when I got a new catalog, I would have to jump in the car and head to Cincinnati. Everybody there knew my name and said they had been waiting for me to show up! So it was a happy day when they finally came to Dayton. And now we have two here...they make it easier to locate my size. But this is my home store...and they not only know my name, they know my number. And when I say "call me when this jacket comes in" I know my phone will be ringing in a matter of days. And I will have my jacket. Here's hoping you've discovered Chico and wear it well! And then you will be writing your own love letters to Chico.
