They have a lot of home goods and clothes, some were reasonably priced, others were insanely expressive (ex $10 for Walmart brand workout pants). I immediately noticed the red Herman Miller sofa, bright woven rugs and hand-rubbed Danish MCM tables... South West handmade jewelry, military surplus, new old stock Carhartt & Levi's, broken-in leather boots, vintage wool and waxed canvas clothing, old Boy Scout hatchets, 70's stereo equipment, vintage vinyl, antique signage (not repro), and the list goes on and on. The thing about stores like this, is that in a year or even a few days the entire businesses' stock can be totally rotated out: snatched away by a collector and gone forever. This place is practically a museum and a snapshot in time of "how things used to be". The "stuff" in this store was built to last and is often one-of-a-kind. I had my eye on a few things in the store and hope that I can get back there to grab them before someone else does. I can think of no better place downtown to find a unique gift for a loved one.
