It had been designed by an 70 year old woman in 1996 and looked every year of it, in aqua and gray. Brenda listened to what we wanted, and helped us come up with a totally zen bathroom. Her suggestions for tiles for the floor and shower were spot on. She was comfortable with our choices for fixtures and the tub, and pulled it all together with the cabinetry. The bathroom was featured in the April 2013 issue of Charleston Home and Design. Unfortunately, my husband kept tabs on all the costs, so I can't give a total for the project, but I do know that we were able to shave some costs in selections of our countertops etc. We've got the house on the market now, because we are downsizing, but having such a nice master bath makes it hard to think about leaving. This is was a big project to remove a wall to open up our downstairs, completely renovate the kitchen, pull up and install new floors, and paint the entire house. The project finished exactly on time. The price was reasonable. This was a once in a lifetime reno, and we could not be more happy with the quality of the work, the end result, and the overall experience. We use our kitchen every single day (all day!), and it is functional and beautiful. There is nothing I would change about it. All parties involved should be recognized, from design services to project management and to each of the contractors: Cabinet guys, countertop guys, floor installers, painting team. All did really quality work. I haven't hung up pictures yet because it's so nice having beautifully painted walls!! It's worth pointing out that we could not afford to vacate our home while this was going on, so we (my husband, me, our 5 year old son, and 12 year old dog!) lived in the house for 5 weeks without a kitchen, floors, etc. I know our living there and needing some place to sleep, etc. had to be factored in to the overall organization and scheduling, and I'm sure it made the project more complicated. I went into this showroom kind of on a whim and told the sales rep I was looking for a pretty toilet. None of that modern stuff, a classy looking John was what I wanted. She pointed me to a toilet in the showroom that fit the bill looks-wise and was one piece, which was even better. So we bought it, they delivered and we had it installed. Best toilet ever: It never stops up and somehow never looks dirty. A couple years later the toilet started doing this weird screaming thing, I called the store and told them what was happening, and the parts came in the mail a few days later. An easy switch out for my husband and no more yelling commode. I just ordered two more today and can't wait to get them installed so my kids will stop clogging up the pathetic Kohler in their bathroom. I have nothing but good things to say about this place.
