We used Closet Factory (live in TheVillages)and had subpar workmanship!!! Even the installation manager concurred....too many issues to name!! It took an act of GOD to get them to come and fix all the problems and many visits due to "not having needed parts." It was months before we could even use entertainment center!! We had a fantastic experience ! We had three closets designed and reconstructed and we could not be happier with the finished product!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! My boyfriend and I had been trying to get a closet built by this company for almost SIX months. The woman who came to measure (her name is Linda) measured our closet wrong (measured 6 inches OVER), so when the builders came to install, nothing would fit. They had to redesign everything, order more supplies, and we ended up getting WAY less than what was originally planned WITH NO DISCOUNT!!!! Sounds like a scam to me. We paid way more than we should have because of a mistake made by Linda. Not to mention, they scuffed the paint on the walls and took off our baseboards and didn't replace them, which we will have to fix on our own time and money. Also, didn't follow the design we chose the second time either. The way they installed the dresser made it unusable and will have to remove our closet door because we are unable to open the door all the way without hitting the drawers, and can't use half of it without the door being 100% closed. It's such a poor design choice that WE DIDN'T AGREE TO, but they did anyway. This company doesn't care about customer service or customer satisfaction AT ALL. They only care about money. Don't fall for the tricks, working with The Closet Factory was a huge mistake. read more

DO NOT USE this company at least the Longwood Timocuan Way location. We were needing an entertainment center done to help hide our subs and center channel. We got a hold of Closet Factory and had the consultant come out and build/design something for us using the software to give us an idea, that was GREAT. We just had it installed a few days ago and the entertainment center is not even centered on the wall or centered with the TV. We unfortunately did not notice it until the next day, so we called the office, and they pretty much told us to bad, after the installer installed it said, "if there are any issues, please let us know". They actually wanted to charge us more to have them come out and complete the actual job that should have been done right in the first place. They are the installers; they should know what is centered and not centered. In fact, the installer should have said "sales mentioned this was measured between the pop outs of your crown molding, is that correct". Then we could have said "yes". Instead of assuming there was communication. That is my frustration, and then the owner just wants to argue. The seam right down the middle is comical and as you can see from the pictures, its' bowing because you have real wood sitting on fake wood with no support on a very long center piece. They charged our card for the rest of it so fast that we didn't even have a chance to approve the final withdrawal, SKETCHY. The more we keep looking at it, the more we are finding half ass craftmanship on a very expensive furniture. The top of the counter is even crooked, the left side sticks out over the drawers, and as you go down the top to the right side, the countertop is flush with the drawers and the owner's response "you didn't remove the baseboards, which has nothing to do with it. Also, they did not reinforce where the subs, and center channel will be as we were advised it would be, because the speakers and subs are heavy. The sad thing is, we ended up moving it where it was supposed to be aligned and I thought the entire entertainment center was going to fall apart, it's basically glued together not reinforced, the middle shelf is just hanging there. I guess at the end of the day, customer service is no longer a thing. The business owners are now the ones that are ALWAYS right, and will give you lame excuses, and the consumers are the ones now getting the crappy end of the deal because no one wants to make things right, and who has the energy to sit and fight for stuff that should be done right. I bought a Living Social deal for Closet Factory that got me $500 worth of closet for $99. I was told that the $500 would get me a 6' basic closet with two sections with hanging parts only (no shelves). The designer/saleswoman who came to go over options was nice and professional but seemed rather new. To add a 12" deep shelf section was an additional $150. If we'd wanted deeper shelves (16") they could have cost us over $400! Needless to say we opted for cheaper option. So without a coupon this very basic, cheapest material 6' closet would have cost us $650! Totally NOT worth it. Could you imagine what some of the fancy closets on their website must cost?? But for the $250 we paid it was an alright deal. I posted pictures of the before and after- you'll see it is no frills. We had one guy come out for the install- he arrived 10 minutes into the 2-hour window and was done in about 45 minutes. No problem with install- except he kind of butchered our baseboards. Good thing this is in a closet where no one will notice! Still, for professionals I thought it would be a little cleaner. (see pictures) A couple of things I did NOT like about the process: when the designer came out she quoted us some prices but I had to decide right then what option I wanted. Besides not liking this high pressure tactic I wish I'd know this ahead of time. I would have liked to have had my other half there to decide with me. Also- when you are given an install appointment time you are given the dreaded arrival "window" of two hours. Really?!? Why, if I'm the first appointment of the day, is there a 2-hour window?? read more

What a NIGHTMARE! Don't walk, run! Spent about $13k to have 2 closets and pantry done. First, we were told that the install would take 2 days. That seemed tight, but we figured they were the experts. The first round of installing took 4 days (Mon-Thurs) to do about 70% of the closets, but none of the pantry. However, they demo'ed the pantry so it was completely unusable. We expected them to return Monday to finish closets and pantry, but instead I had to call Tues when no call/no show and we're told they couldn't come back for 6 weeks!!! Fought them hard and they finally got someone here 4 weeks later!! Then, they still couldn't finish after 3 more days of work. Too many issues to name. Do not use this company. SUPER disorganized and ZERO customer service. The final product looks nice--that's the reason for 2 stars. read more

I will first start off by saying the review below mine seems that she was looking for anything to complain about...time frame for arrival (we live in the Orlando area...there is always traffic & it sometimes takes an hour to get from one side to the other. Cable compaines give you a window of like 5 hours, so 2 is nothing!), price (you got a discount on a custom product...what's to complain about there?!), and the "high pressure sales tactic" (I got two other quotes and felt extremely pressured to buy from them, so I decided to go with Closet Factory because they did not pressure me!). Everything about the process with Closet Factory was great! The office staff was very knowledgable and polite, and the sales woman who came out was professional and presented everything in a timely yet thorough manner. Our installer was wonderful and cleaned up everything after the installation (wiped everything down with a cleaner and vacuumed). I would highly recommend Closet Factory to everyone looking for a custom closet or anything else in the home! read more

I over paid for a lousy product and when I contacted the owner to come back to fix the crap job he was rude and offered no help. I would never recommend this company to ANYONE.
