    Bri and her team are the only ones I trust in the Des Moines metro with my fur kids. She treats them like family and has always taken good care of my pups. My first poodle Jeffy would get cool colors and Mohawks, he was always happy to see her! When he passed away she was very sad too. Then I got my new poodle friend Emily and she has been taking such good care of her!

    They did such an amazing job, my sweet boy smells so good, is so soft, and looks extra handsome in his holiday tie!! It was his first time at the groomer so he was nervous, but they made me feel so comfortable dropping him off. I cant wait to take him again!

    The staff was very helpful and understanding with all my concerns! My baby girl left looking so cute and happy!

    Bri and her team always do a great job with my puppy! I am not from the Des Moines area originally and tried a few other groomers that did not do a good job with a Goldendoodle puppy. I found Bri through a recommendation, and I am so grateful! Willie loves going and always come back looking fantastic! Bri even took time to show us how to brush him out properly and which tools to use. We love Clipper-Doodle-Do! :)

    I would definitely not recommend Clipper Doodle Do in Urbandale. I took my two boxers there for their first grooming and they sent one of my dogs home with a broken tooth with no explanation on how it happened. There was no empathy or even an apology that it happened in their care. I called Saturday morning and they were able to get the dogs in that afternoon. We went over pricing and was told one dog would be cheaper than the other as they go by weight. One weighs 100 lbs, the other weighs 73. I told them I would check with my wife if their time worked and would call them back. It had been 15 minutes and I hadn't heard from her so I called clipper doodle do not wanting to leave them hanging and let them know I am still waiting to hear back and should be soon, they said no problem. 10 minutes later I called back and confirmed the services and time. I told them I couldn't find their vaccination papers and they were ok with it because they don't get inspected on Saturday's. When I got there they changed the pricing and said both dogs would cost 120 a piece and that they prorated the cost apparently. Whatever, I went with it and didn't say anything. After 2 and a half hours the dogs were done. When I walked into the shop to pick them up one of the employees said "I have something to show you" and came smiling showing me a tooth they found. I asked how it happened and they said they don't know, said they saw a tooth on the floor, checked all dogs and found it was my dog Charlie. Obviously not happy I said "well that's not a good experience". They didn't like that. I checked my dogs tooth and his front canine was broken down to the pulp. I didn't know what to say at that point so not much was said at all. I asked again to confirm why the price was the same for both if one weighed 30 lbs less than the other, and said my dogs weighed more than I said, which wasn't true. Whatever again, I was upset and didn't argue so I paid for the groomings and left with out saying anything else to them. There was very little communication so at no point was I rude other than looking upset which should be understandable. I took Charlie to the vet Monday and was given a 992 dollar vet bill because the tooth needs extracted. I called clipper doodle do and left a message to speak to the owner. She texted me back instead. She accused me of being rude and irrational. Of course any dog owner would be upset walking into that, but I kept my composure and handled it very well as I was still shocked it even happened. Below are her texts and how she decided to handle the situation. Now she is claiming he broke it on the kennel and i should have given them a heads up Charlie doesn't do well in them... also that it was "probably" already loose. He is 3 years old, has always been fine in a kennel and grew up in one so it's nothing I'd ever expect to have happened. She says she has video proof I was rude to her and her staff so I would encourage her to post it as it's not true. She is very unprofessional and not how an honest person/business owner should react if a dog is harmed while in their care. Instead she lashes out and finds excuses to deflect from herself. She clearly packed her shop full that day and wasn't sufficiently staffed or able to tend to all the dogs she had.

    I very rarely/never post reviews, however Bri's work has compelled me to leave one! After our golden sheepadoodle's first grooming where the groomer completely skinned him and cut the tip of his tail, causing months of healing, cone wearing, vet visits, infection, countless blood splatter clean up, bandaging, and partial amputation; I was terrified to take him to another groomer. Being a 70 pound dog and the breed that he is, we desperately needed to find a groomer. This time I did my homework, searching the Doodle Lovers of Iowa page and seeing that Bri had a rare quick opening (scheduled on Wednesday for Saturday) I jumped on the opportunity and I am so glad that I did, we certainly found our FOREVER groomer! I was simply amazed at her work. Our pup feels like a real life teddy bear, while still looking like a doodle! I keep asking my husband, HOW DID SHE DO THAT?! Her work is magical!! Better yet, she is the instructor of DMACC's new pet grooming certification program at the Southridge campus! I am so happy that she is sharing her skills and knowledge with others!

    Payed for expensive cat food and treats and was helped by a nice cashier who let us play with the…read morekittens after checking out and paying. Once finished playing with the kittens, my boyfriend and I proceeded to leave and the manager ran after us and screamed at us accusing us of stealing. When checking out, I had told the original cashier "no" to a receipt, as I always do, and she didn't give us a bag for our items so for the manager to scream at us and not letting us leave instead of just politely clarifying with us at a reasonable tone sent me into a panic attack when leaving. She apologized telling us someone stole the week prior but still did not feel respectful towards us in the slightest. I'm not sure if our physical appearances played apart in this situation and I do shop at this Pet Supplies regularly but after the treatment we faced today, we will not be returning to this location.

    Received a coupon in the mail for 20% off and was low on dog food, so headed over to check this new…read morepet store out. It was very clean and the signage made it easy to quickly find what we wanted. Had to sign up to be a member to use the coupon but the process was quick. They have a self serve dog wash area that looks nice, but I did check the prices on that amenity. Minus a star because while they had my brand of dog food, they didn't have the specific variety I usually get. The price after coupon was a really good deal so we made their selection work.
