Everything was amazing the hairstylist was great. Everyone else very nice and had great customer…read moreservice and made my hair exactly how I wanted it

Dear Supercuts Management Team,…read more I've been a loyal customer of your establishment for nearly 20 years. Over the years, I've had many favorite stylists and have always appreciated the warm, professional service I've received. Since the recent move, I've enjoyed my visits even more -- the staff are friendly, engaging, and create a welcoming environment that feels like a relaxing getaway. My hairstylist, Raegan, does an exceptional job. I see her two to three times a week, and she's become like a little sister to me. The rest of the team -- including Lindsey, Tyler, Tasha, and Oceania -- are all wonderful as well. I've never once felt uncomfortable visiting, until my most recent experience on Wednesday. On that day, Raegan was unavailable, so Lindsey took care of my appointment. While I was there, a man entered the salon carrying posters, which made me assume he might be a manager or part of corporate. As Lindsey and I talked, I noticed him standing near the entrance, staring in my direction. At first, I ignored it, but he continued to look my way for an extended period. He then approached Lindsey to make small talk but continued to stand behind me, watching closely. Although he complimented my hair and attempted to engage in conversation, his behavior made me increasingly uncomfortable. Despite my body language suggesting unease, he remained nearby for about ten minutes until I finished. When I left, he told me goodbye and continued to watch as I exited. While I understand that friendly interaction is part of good customer service, prolonged staring and ignoring social cues can make customers feel uneasy. I wanted to bring this to your attention in hopes that it can be addressed appropriately, as I would hate for anyone else to feel the same discomfort. Thank you for taking the time to read my feedback. I truly value this salon and its staff and look forward to continuing my visits under the same welcoming and professional environment I've always known.

My boyfriend and I lost our hair stylist very suddenly this past September. Bill had been going to…read morehim for 41 years, I had been going to him for almost two years. The daunting task of finding a new hair stylist was scary to say the least. I looked up Hair Expressions on Yelp. Impressed by the number of 5-star ratings and the longevity of the salon, along with the fact that it is small and family-owned. Bill went and got his first haircut almost a month ago. He took a selfie and sent it to me, saying he was very happy with the cut. I had just gotten my hair done at a local salon in Olathe, spent way too much money, and walked out feeling uneasy and unhappy with the result. I had a consultation with Dee two weeks ago. Filled with anxiety and in tears for most of the appointment, I shared my story with her. She listened intently to me while looking at the mess I felt my hair was, made some recommendations, tested one hair product on my hair (after asking permission to try it out first). I was completely blown away at the before/after difference. My ends were so dry and unhealthy-looking until she used this hair tonic on it. The results lasted into the next day until I washed my hair! She gave me hope that my hair, and myself, would be cared for from the moment I walked in the door. She told me she had a stylist from her shop in mind to do my hair, gave me her contact information, and when I was ready to schedule the appointment, she would be there working together with the other hair stylist, side by side, discussing beforehand exactly what they would do. I scheduled the appointment for two weeks later, this past Friday. Meriya was patient, she listened to me. She said she and Dee had discussed my situation and my hair, and had a plan of what to do to start "healing" my hair, one appointment at a time. She said it won't be solved in one appointment, but it would get better. I was wowed, more like blown away. I learned haircuts are not quick, they do take time. No one had ever explained that to me before. Meriya is young, but she takes her craft seriously. She can do classic cuts, classic hairstyles, and she is learning from a teacher with years of experience. I highly recommend Hair Expressions to anyone who wants to be treated as a whole person and not just dollar signs coming through the door. Dee and Meriya, you sold me. Thank you for showing me how a haircut and color should be done, and how to start making my hair healthy, once and for all. Celeste
