Would absolutely recommend!!

I knew Emily was serious about curly hair because she requires clients to come with clean dry hair with no styling products. The salon itself is so cool, love the decorations and the tight-knit atmosphere. Everyone was very welcoming, most of all my stylist John. He is so friendly, and he is obviously very experienced with cutting hair. In fact, I'm writing this about two weeks after getting my haircut because I continue to notice little touches that speak to John's attention to detail. In the end, we cut off around 7 or 8 inches, so it was a pretty big change! HS made me feel welcome and gave me a great cut. Only a pity I can't go there every time I need a cut!

First off, it's a super cute and very welcoming salon. My stylist was Pam. She was amazing! She took her time to make sure I got the color and cut I wanted that I showed her in my picture. I have had a bad experience in the past where my hair didn't come out based on what I had asked aka cutting a lot off when I had asked for a trim taking off as little possible. Pam was also really nice to talk to while I got my hair done. She's so sweet and personable. It was a relaxing experience. Thank you Pam for really taking the time and attention to give me the results I wanted! I am super happy with my hair and will definitely be back!

Add to that the fact that I'm incredibly indecisive about what to do with my hair and that usually means my hair lives in a perpetual state of sloppily pulled back pony tail. Plus she's friendly and chatty, but totally content to not engage in conversation if you're tired and don't feel like chit chatting. Bonus points for free bang trims. There's a reason why half of the women in my office go to her - she's fantastic.

I then proceded to get my eye brows done, something I have done numerous times in my life. During the wax, my eyelids burned which I assumed was normal. They were also very red and painful after I left. The pain and redness did not go away and when I woke up the next morning I realized the stylist had badly burned my eyelids. There was a very evident wax strip burned into both of my eye lids. I texted the stylist who just told me to put neosporin on it (no duh). She stopped replying once I sent her a picture of my eyelids. I called the owner to explain the situation and she replied with a message basically saying it wasnt her problem and she just rents to people. I texted my stylist again asking her policy on injuring clients and she did not reply. Although she did a good job with my hair, she injured my eye lids causing physical pain and red marks over my eyes for a week. I was most disappointed with the company's lack of customer service and their lack of empathy when injuring a client. I would not recommend this company to anyone. I would not want someone else to pay money to get injured and disrespected.
