He took a quick tour to assess the situation then sat down with us to discuss various options. At all times he was respectful of our needs and feelings, and was always courteous. My brother and I contracted with Richard to clear out the home. When Richard says he does it all, that is EXACTLY what he does! He emptied the house completely and cleaned it so it was ready for its new owners. He even returned family photos to us that we had missed when we went through the home. I knew the author and title and walked up to the register to ask where I might find it, but the two employees were engaged in conversation and didn't even acknowledge my presence for at least 3 minutes. When the red-headed female employee did finally acknowledge me, it was with an irritated smirk, as if I was disturbing them. This dismissive and disrespectful behavior was repeated several times before I decided to leave. I have over 30 years experience in business ownership and retail management and this is absolutely no way to treat prospective customers. You should never make a customer wait without being acknowledged while you engage in conversation with another employee or are looking down at the register. When you do engage with a customer, you should be welcoming, friendly and polite. I see from prior reviews that I am not the only one to have experienced this kind of behavior and don't know how they've stayed in business so long with such rude employees. There are no return visits here in my future.
