I would not recommend this place to sell your items and expect that you get money for the expensive items. I hired them to clean out my storage unit and sell the items in it they donated they said that they donated, which I do not believe. over 75% of the items that was in the unit. I have been a Premier Auction customer for many years. I have been both a seller and buyer. Premier Auction has always treated me more than fair. They go out of their way to take care of you. Premier Auction has "hundreds" of repeat customers. That is because the customers a get good deals in both selling, and buying. It is a family run business. They are extremely helpful and considerate. The added Bonus is that it makes for a fun night of treasure hunting too. In response to 2 earlier reviews: Some people bring items in that they feel are worth more than the public is willing to pay. In their minds they have un-realistically over valued their items. The public sets the price it is willing to pay, not the auction house. The auction house is an auction, not to be confused with a retail store. Happy Treasure Hunter !! read more

Normally I don't review things - Yelp is a cesspool, and I don't want people to know about my favorite spots! But I have to put in a good word for Premier. I've had nothing but great experiences, even though I don't think I'm in the normal demographic of Premier's customers. The owner Kim is great. This is one of the only auction houses I know that when you place an absentee bid, they don't just use your absentee as the starting bid. I'm particularly amused at the one-star review by Oscar G, who seems to have a beef about his items not selling for what he thought he could get. He says "Waterford crystal. Easily $30 a glass." Waterford crystal is as likely to be used for skeet as anything - it's plummeted in value since the 80s. But I digress. If you're looking for a fun auction experience, with a wide range of prices - things may go for retail, or you may get some really great deals - there's no better place in the Spokane/CDA area. read more

Don't bring your "stuff" or valuables from an estate and expect a fair price. This place is all about selling their storage shed crap first....and then mixing the expensive items in with low rent crap....only to make THEM more money instead of you. They offer no guarantees on the price you get, and here's why..... These people ALWAYS sell their crap first. They troll the area storage sheds and mix in 1 single expensive item with a ton of junk. For example: they have some crap to sell BUT in that crap they have 2 very nice wine crystal glasses...Waterford crystal. Easily $30 a glass. They mix it up with junk ( computer cables from 1987, screw drivers and rusted out garden gates) and attempt to auction it all off for $75. If you bring your stuff here you're going to get ripped off. You're better off selling on Craigslist Or dumping it. read more

I went to my first auction with Premier last week and came away with a bad taste in my mouth. The auction itself is okay if a bit unconventional. They wheel out 2 tables at a time and auction off choice of items on the table. If you want to bid, it is recommended that you take notes of items and table numbers during the preview. Item quality is all over the place. This is not an antique/estate auction. It is mostly storage unit lots with a smattering of nice stuff thrown in. What left a bad taste in my mouth was the way the owner acted when I pointed something out to him. They were auctioning off a Stevens bolt action 30-30. When I checked it out, I noticed 2 major issues. First, the bolt came free when cycling. This makes the gun unsafe to operate. Second, there was no evidence of a serial number. When it came time to auction the gun, no mention was made of this at the start. I went up to the owner and mentioned the unsafe firing condition, and his response was a very curt "I wouldn't know." Since this information was never disclosed to the buyers, it is obvious that Premier is only after top dollar and has no interest in being fair and impartial. If they were willing to sell a dangerous (possibly illegal) gun without disclosing, what else were they not saying about suspect merchandise? Sorry, but I am not willing to risk my money or safety to purchase from them. read more

Premier Auction's owner Kim, has a dreadful attitude. She blows hot & cold to customers. If she doesn't like you, it'll be obvious. She's curt & abrupt , which makes going here stressful. All the furniture I've purchased here has been handled poorly. They don't know how to properly move furniture.( by grabbing chairs from the back instead of their seats etc) don't try & intervene & get your furniture yourself, that's when you'll get THE ATTITUDE. I know of people that have written reviews on google , that they weren't paid what they were supposed to be after an Auction.That's unconscionable! read more

Premier is one of the better auctions in this area. From a buyers position, its great to get items that have value left to market on. The competition comes into play when you bid against the other "resellers". But that's what auctions are all about! As for the owners selling their own items, this is necessary and expected! This is how these businesses stay in business. From a sellers position, if you plan to consign items of value and want to get the best price, do your research! Auction houses make money when you make money! It is only in their best interest to get you the best price! If you make more, they make a better commission. As for offering guarantees!?! You are watching too much television!! Offering guaranteed selling prices on items you consign is offering a "reserve price". This is not offered or implied, so don't bring it here if that's your expectation. They disclose this up front. As for the owner blowing hot or cold, imagine how you would be if you had to deal with a bunch of people who don't understand the process. If you are a seller, you are wanting the most you can get. If you are a buyer, you want the same items for a little as you have to pay. As the owner you are constantly having to deal with both sides of the coin and try to remain impartial. Bottom line. Auctions can be a lot of fun and a great value for both buyers and sellers. Its a great place to liquidate if you have a lot of items you are trying to sell. Great place to buy both items you might want or need or buy to resell if that's your objective. If you have an expensive item like your "Waterford Crystal glasses" and you don't feel like you are going to get the amount you want from them, then try another auction house and good luck! Commissions will most likely be higher and depending on who you take them to, they may not even take them in on commission. read more
