Called for an oil change and to look at the lifter noise. Was quoted $75 for the oil and 3hrs for the lifters to replace them. Explained I don't want an oil change until the lifters are fixed incase it means the oil has to be changed again. They changed it to a "full service". Was told to pick it up and drive it to Harley and they will plug it in for a tune up "since it's part of the price". Picked up my bike had the wrong color oil filter, one person said it's just oil and the other person said there is an additive. The sound was louder and was told not to ride it since it sounds bad and not good. Made me pay over $480. Went to Harley they called me right away. Said I have to pay there is no connection or deal they have. Went there and saw that my bike was a WHOLE QUART LOW ON OIL! and was watery and smelled like gas. Now had to pay for Harley to fix it. Called to talk to owner of CLINTONS about getting money back but kept getting spoken over. Very disappointed, don't take your bike there unless you want to waste your time and get robbed. Will be reporting to proper agency's if not refunded. read more

I was new to Lincoln, and needed some chrome bolts for my custom built soft tail. So I stopped in at Clinton's Custom Cycles, and was greeted as if they knew me. Asked them for what I need. Within minutes the bolts were on the counter. Asked how much? I was told free of charge. I knew then I'd be back! Mike and all the employees there are a great bunch people, very professional, knowledgeable, and understand the importance of customer service. I had Clinton's do a basic 25K service on my '05 Deuce. They also had to take care of a small oil leak, which turned out to require taking the whole left side apart. That all went off without a hitch, and would have deserved a 3-4 star rating. HOWEVER... a month or so later, I went out to ride my bike to work and found a huge puddle of oil under the bike! I called Clinton's and was greeted with: Wow that's terrible...what time works for you for us to pick up the bike? They came with a trailer (that day, right on time)....loaded it up...and even cleaned up the oil on my garage floor!!!! They checked the bike out and discovered the new brand of oil filter they *were* using (not any more) had backed out a bit and since my bike had been sitting in the garage for a few weeks, it had leaked from there. They replaced the oil filter (with a different brand), filled up the oil and delivered my bike back to me LESS THAN 24 HOURS LATER! That is what I call AWESOME customer service! They took full ownership of the problem and handled it like pros. They have a customer for life now! read more

HORRIBLE place they rip you off !!! you bring your bike in for one thing and it leaves with another and this not only happened once but three diffrent times they ripped me off and now my ike is worse now then when i originally brought it in i highly reccomend you stay away from them if you do not want to be ripped off with a bike even worse off!!!! read more

Brought my motorcycle in to Clinton's Custom Cycle in Lincoln for an ignition problem and got it back with an oil leak and the original problem still there. The bike made it home but the oil light came on and oil was leaking out. I live 6-7 mile from the bike show. Called the bike shop back they told me to bring it back in, I brought it back to the bike shop to have the leak fixed. I received a call from Robert (office Manager) telling me that there was a bad ignition and needed to be replace...huh?? They just replaced the ignition and I brought it back because it was leaking oil. He didn't seem to know what was going on or even why it was there. 3 weeks later,I picked it up the second time it was then leaking gas (again didn't even make it to my house without leaking). The service there is terrible. Each time they charged me a diagnostic fee to fix the problem that they had caused themselves. So I started out with an ignition issue, and then an oil leak, now a gas leak. Now I have all three problems. $800 dollars later and its still not fixed. read more
