I called them hoping to get an appointment then, but was advised by the Office manager that there were 5 others ahead of me, and she would provide me with a list of other vets to call. I was in shock and upset that after being with them for 2 years, they expected me to take her to another vet. I called Huebner's who was on her list and spoke to Jackie. I asked if Dr. Ridder was taking new patients as I had been thinking of transferring to Goderich due to the travel to Clinton. She was friendly and immediately said "yes" but once she found out I was with the vet in Clinton, her tone changed and she said something to the effect that if I was with them, then they didn't want my dog. It didn't matter to her that I knew my dog was really sick. I then called the Wingham Clinic who I had been with when I lived in Blyth. They said they would be happy to have Penny back as a patient, would request her file from Clinton, and to bring her in at 1:00 p.m. Unfortunately, my girl was too sick and had to be euthanized. Maybe this is the reason there are no reviews for your clinic, except one bad one, and you don't exactly have a good reputation, unlike the every day reviews I read on Facebook praising the Wingham Clinic. I have never read any bad reviews for them. If my conversation with Jackie is an indication of how your staff is allowed to act so unprofessional with the public, I would never take a pet to your clinic or refer anyone else to you.

RESCUE DOG, this animal clinic is active in the fight to save animal life with ARF, I am thankful we have this clinic. We called Wadhams vet to euthanize...their comment, because they had not seen our dog in over 2 yrs they would have to do complete exam before euthanize...What!! Wadhams vet wanted euthanize over 2 yrs ago. We went to Wilson Vets no question & charged $45 for Euthanize at 11:00 pm. $100 total if not taking home for a 109 lb GSD.

He was diagnosed with Lyme disease, they called in a prescription straight away and within hours, followed up with me to say the disease had not spread after the samples had being tested further. Dr Meadows has been a life changer for us. We had a puppy break a back leg. We got x rays and an…read moreopinion that cast it and it would be ok. Then with encouragement we got second opinions by orthopedic vets. Our puppy got 5 pins in her leg for a spiral fracture that would not have healed correctly on its own. We traveled from Monroe to this vet for his incredible ability to reassure us, as well as to heal our puppy. He made a huge effort to let us know what was going on and continued to do this throughout the healing process having us email pics of how her pin tracts were and he took the time to say they were doing well. We wish we lived closer but will travel for any of these kinds of procedures , in a heartbeat. So compassionate and extremely educated and able to do specialized procedures. So pleased and so is our baby, Artemis. She loves him and his staff and we believe they truly love her.
