Someone I know moved to Utah recently, so it's the first time I've sent flowers to someone there. I always try to order through a local florist because they're usually better than the nationwide florist sites. The Gibby site had a lot of options, and I placed an online order for exactly what I wanted and at a reasonable price. I received my order confirmation, but then I received an email with a photo of the finished arrangement indicating it was ready for delivery. It was so nice to actually see what was being delivered. Most places that send a photo just send their standard photo from their website, so this is really a cut above. A short while later, I received a call from the delivery person. They were super nice and said they were at the delivery address but no one was home, no neighbors were home, and it was very hot outside so leaving them on the porch would probably ruin them. We chatted about options, she gave me the local temperature, and we decided that she would leave a note, take the flowers back to the shop, and try to deliver them again the next day. I just heard from the happy recipient that they have received the flowers and they are gorgeous. I really appreciated not only how beautiful the arrangement turned out, but how well Gibby's kept me updated on my order status with a completed photo, and the very caring and patient delivery person who made sure the recipient received my order in the best condition possible. They even sent me an email showing me what the "designers choice" arrangement ended up looking like. It was beautiful. However, the real standout was the delivery service. David, delivered the arrangement and there were some difficulties in getting these flowers to their recipient. He was so helpful, up beat, and persistent. His excellent customer service really made my day. I am sure the flowers made the day of my family member too!

Sadly, we learned from an employee of the store that the man who used to provide the yard art is "currently running from the law" so his inventory wasn't on display. Bummer. However, my friend found some smoker pellets that she wanted to try. If we happened to have a farm or a large yard that needs more than the occasional mow, this would be a terrific resource. They have excellent customer service and a good supply of things you'd probably want.

They confirmed they had it in stock, so we headed down the road to the store. When we got there, we were a little confused because Google Maps took up to an art shop. Luckily there was a little sign above the shop that said Dallas Green was around the corner, so we pulled around and parked. It was difficult to see the entrance because of all the pallets piled around, but we found the door. When we walked in, the employees looked at us and then went about their business. We walked around looking for the feed, but couldn't find it, so we asked an employee. They told us we need to pay for it at the register and then to drive around to pick it up, so we paid $20+ and then headed out to our car. We pulled in to the warehouse and the employee confirmed we wanted 30% game bird crumble. He then started yelling at another employee for not doing his job while he went and looked for the crumble. He came back to the car with a 50lb bag and my husband opened the trunk for him. He put the bag in the back and told us how to get out of the warehouse (you just pull forward and make a left). Once we got home and went to give the quail chicks their food, we realized they gave us pellets instead of crumble. The birds are too little to eat pellets, so for now I'll need to blend it before giving it to them. It's extra work I didn't want to do, but I already opened the bag so I can't swap it out for crumble. I feel like this place has good prices and I like the ease of driving through the warehouse. When we try this place again, we'll double check that they grabbed the correct feed though.
