Wouldn't let us explain that there had to be a mistake somewhere, before unpleastries were expressed we got up and left.

They made a mistake on my paperwork, which cost me several thousand dollars. None of us caught it (salesman, finance or me) because they bundled the numbers into one amount. I believe this was done deliberately to keep me at the number I needed to make the purchase. In hindsight, I should have told them to pack sand and ask for my trades back (which they had already sold). All of this happened a month after I bought the car. Reading reviews of other Deacon Jones dealerships, looks like this is the norm. I even asked what they were going to do to make me feel better about the deal...even a t-shirt or keychain but was denied and told "we don't do that". I also own a Jeep I bought a from their Jeep dealership. Soon in the market for my wife a new car and will buy from another local dealer or drive somewhere else. I hate it for the local employees because they are truly helpful and caring.

I picked up the phone and called to inquire. I was greeted with promptness and professionalism. They immediately answered all my questions and sent me figures within a few minutes! Luby was my contact in sales and it was like talking to a family friend. True gentleman with over 40 yrs experience. I was ready to cut another block with him on the test drive. No pressure, no games, upfront pricing. I had already shopped financing options yet ended up financing through them as well with their competitive rates. Made a scenic 2hr trip down to test drive and hopefully purchase. They had all paperwork ready to go as promised, vehicle detailed, AND a full tank of gas! Again, no games! Sent me everything I asked for beforehand, and it was exactly as described over the phone and ready to go - no pushy upsells on options, etc. General Manager Thao was awesome to work with. I forgot to call my bank beforehand and let them know I was buying a vehicle, so the only delay was on me! First of all the sales girl, Brittney Oates was as helpful as could be and then as the deal progressed she got more and more uncooperative. First problem was they wouldn't let me test drive a car that I was fixing to spend over $12,000 on. Secondly, the Sales girl Brittney and the General Manager, Danny Holland II, both turned out to be the biggest crooks and liars I have ever seen. The agreed to fix a couple things on the car that I was purchasing, a 2016 Kia Soul+, HOWEVER it was like pulling teeth to get them to get anything done on a timely manner. They move at their own pace up there. A TURTLE WOULD HAVE BEAT THEM AT A RACE!! Thirdly the car kept acting up mechanically and the made me pay half of the repair bill for a new starter. Still not sure if they ever put it on. Another thing was a spare tire, THERE WAS NONE!! They said they had got one and put it in the car on one of the many trips to the service dept. there at the dealership. Went to clean the car out the other day because I had enough of this POS anyhow, STILL NO SPARE TIRE even after they told me there was one in there. I wanted another vehicle, DANNY HOLLAND SAID I'LL GIVE YOU THE MONEY BACK BUT NO CAR!! NOT EVEN MY TRADE BACK!! So....long story short, I only kept the car about three weeks and just traded it in at a dealership in the Raleigh area for a 2010 Cadillac SRX. Now the wife is finally happy with her vehicle again. DON'T BUY FROM PERFORMANCE CHRYSLER IN CLINTON, NC!!! THEY ARE LIARS, CHEATS, THIEVES, ETC.....
