I called Anytime and they were able to get me scheduled the next day. My appointment was later in the day and life happens. The appointment before me was taking longer and they called to let me know and reschedule me. My life is flexible, so I took the first appointment for that Friday. That morning, I got a courtesy call letting me know that they were on the way and that Jacob would be my tech. When he arrived, he introduced himself and shook my hand (that is something you don't see everyday). We went into the garage, he saw how old my opener was (20 years) and explained my options. He went into great detail on the differences between the different openers. I asked a few questions and he answered in layman's terms that someone like me could comprehend. I made my choice and he said it would take about an hour to install. I'm one of those peps, I looked at my watch. When he was finished, it was an hour, almost to the minute. He cleaned up after himself and you couldn't even tell that work had been done in my garage. I love my new LiftMaster garage door opener. It is quiet and runs smoothly, like a soft close drawer. Precise Garage Door was the business that our home warranty chose for us to use for our broken…read moregarage door. They did the work successfully, but they were rude, were over an hour late for each appointment day, and didn't clean up their mess. They left the old garage door opener equipment in the garage. They were also supposed to arrive between 11:00am and 3:00pm and they arrived between 4:00-4:30pm. I blocked off that time and was home but I had to leave at 4:30pm one of the days and ended up leaving the technician there to complete the work so I didn't have to reschedule and take off work again. They also asked if I wanted to "upgrade" my service for $250 to include an extra opener and a keypad. I declined since we already have a keypad and we use our cars' programmable garage door openers. And keypads are about $35 and a universal opener costs about $10. EDIT TO ADD: On 30 August, 2024, Martin phoned to discuss our experience and apologized. He did explain that he runs a small business and that a negative review has certain impacts. Martin, although kind, did not offer any kind of resolution or compensation.
