I went in to get 3 teeth extracted from the back of my mouth, and the dentist was so quick, that when he was done I made sure he hadn't made a mistake and had taken care of each issue, which he had done. They numbed me up well, so I felt no pain, just some pressure, which is to be expected. I will happily go back to this dentist's office anytime I need help.

Not having a cleaning in 10 years, Becky was thorough, patient, and gentle (as the name says). Dr. Mensah-Boateng diagnosed 2 cavities, so I setup and appointment for the fillings. For the filling appointment, again my experience was fantastic. Sandra numbed me up. Dr. Mensah-Boateng was cautious about causing pain, asking to ensure I wasn't experiencing any while drilling. Sandra put my fillings in, and they are GREAT. Dr. Daniel Mensah-Boateng and his staff are the BEST dental experience I have ever had. Everyone there was friendly and professional, a very nice facility, with easy to setup appointments and online registration, and even automatic notifications/reminders. I can truly say Gentle Care lives up to their name. It's almost weird to say this, I look forward to going back!

Their prices are normal/fair and typical, and they do offer a small discount for paying by check, as that saves them the credit card fee, which helps. All the stuff about ability aside, it is a very restful and peaceful office. They take their time with you. No one is rushed or grumpy. The staff knows what they are doing and seem to be a cut above. People are kind and caring. They are also that way about scheduling so I don't have a take it or leave it feeling, they work with us to find what works for our schedule. They are excellent with people who fear the dentist, those with sensitive mouths, and children. They make kids welcome and feel safe. Ours now look forward to seeing the dentist. Even if they don't always like the procedures, they know the office and professional staff care about their well being and will take the time to help them manage, and that is the same for the four adults in our family who go there. Several of the dentists also teach and mentor, which to me, shows they are at the top of their game. I actively hate going to the dentist, and there are strong reasons for that, but I feel safe and secure at this office. I was told I needed a crown end of 2025, even tho we have really great dental insurance we were told we had to come up with $800 down, so we did,(that was in Jan. 2026). I ended up having problems with the crown which I told them I didnt think was quite right, but was told I needed to get use to it. Ok. Went back in June 2026, was told I now needed root canal for same tooth, I opted to just have them pull it. Especially after finding out they were holding a $600 credit on my account, since insurance came thru and paid on my crown originally. Not happy that they held on to a large credit, especially when we withdrew that from our HSA plan and could have been paying other medical bills with it. ​We are now one day away from July 2026 and still haven't received our credit. I called today, spoke with billing, was told that they couldn't send me my credit until insurance pays for last visit,(June) I don't think so Sir, that credit was from January 2026. They then said they would send a email to the appropriate person to get our refund in the mail but it probably wouldn't happen this week. Good grief! I used to work in medical billing and there's no excuse for this. Be better Afdent billing!

I came in…read morearound 10:30 a.m. the day after Christmas with serious tooth issues, and the front office staff immediately made me feel cared for--offering ice packs and oral numbing gel while they helped me get settled. Despite having a completely full schedule, they went above and beyond to make room for me and complete extensive work, including a tooth extraction, bone graft, and creating a replacement flipper so I didn't have to leave without a tooth. The lab team even stayed late to finish my flipper. I truly can't express how thankful and grateful I am for the time, effort, and genuine compassion the entire team showed me. Dr. Hubbard and Dr. Hester were fast, efficient, and did an excellent job. However, the person who truly made the biggest impact on my experience was the dental assistant, Cindy. She was phenomenal--handling X-rays, multiple impressions, and thoroughly explaining everything along the way. Her passion for her job truly showed, and she made me feel completely at ease throughout the process. The fact that the entire office stayed until 6 p.m. the day after Christmas just to make sure I was taken care of speaks volumes about their dedication.
